Dragon narrowed her eyes. "you need to send the ships doctor to look at the girl. she lungs stopped working for awhile." she said in a tone that left no doubt that if she didnt get what she wanted, she would make the end of the trip hell for the captian.

Brendon seemed asleep on the bed his chest moving slowly and his breathing very rasping and slow.

"im not talking about all the passengers. im talking about the ones who are working here, and end up getting sick." she said in a cold, angry voice, her accent getting stronger. "the simple fact is, right now you have to replace them. they are sick and unable to work for the time being."

Aizel breathed in gasps. Her chest wheezed as her lungs stopped functioning again. She suddenly jolted up, coughting loudly. The dust from that room was still stuck in her lungs.

After a while her coughting stopped and she looked around. This wasn't her room. She glnaced to her left and spotted Brendon laying on another bed near the window. So this was his room.

Brendon shook his head but didn't opened his eyes his hands black from the soot his room was above sea level so it had a window. Brendon turned over and didn't move.

Aizel coughted again and then silently checked on Brendon. He seemed to be okay so she slowly and quitly creeped out of the room. She didn't want to disturb him.

Brendon lifted his head and coughed.He looked around his room .He shrugged getting up and opening the door.He ran up to open deck smelling the lovely salty sea air made him feel at home.

Going back to her room, Aizel washed her face in the bathroom. Her cheeks were slightly burned from all the heat in the boiler room. She rubbed them and winced. 'Darn it, that hurt.' she though and lay down on her own bed. She had slept a few minutes ao but she still felt tired. Laying on her pillow, Aizel slowly drifted into dreamland.

Brendon sighed he had to go back..He started for the boiler room again. The heat was the same as normal.He stared working again ."Here we go.." as the smoke hit him again.

Aizel woke up after an hour or two of sleep and then trotted upstairs to the deck. Her cheeks were still bright red from the burns and she tried her best to hide them.

She spotted Katia and waved to her.

A man walked up to Brendon."Keep it up..or you will be getting off at France.." he said to Brendon. As he kept shovelling the coal he got more and more exhausted.Black fumes spread around the room as more smoke Rose to the air.A man near him jacket had caught fire and he was taking away.Brendon sighed and went back go work.

Katia saw Aizel waving. She looked terrible! Katia told her dad she would be back at dinner and ran as fast as she could to Aizel. 'are you okay?' she asked worriedly.

"I'm fine. I just got a little burned at the boiler room. It'll pass quickly.Just side burns and all. " she said calmly, rubbing her cheeks. "Brendon was forced to work there too. The captain wants them to help with the shoveling" she said quietly. She had seen a person suffocate to death and had fainted herself. That place was truly dangerous. She hoped Brendon was alright.
