You were a nobody, a nothing, an orphan. You grubbed along in the city, starved but defiant, trying--and failing--to forget how you were abandoned by everyone you loved. You were an outcast, looked down on by the rich, avoided by the poor, ignored by anyone who crossed your path. But you have a secret. You are different--because you have a power.
One day, Mr. Smith took you in. He noticed your potential, and took you under his wing. You are one among many others that are a part of his group of outcasts, and together you train under Mr. Smith's watchful eye. He never tells you what you train for, but he provides you with food, shelter, and friends, and thus you go along with his project. Now, however, something doesn't seem quite right.

I love it, too. But it seemed 'too good.' If you know what I mean. So I gave it some flaws to make it seem more 'realistic' as a roleplay like this can be. XD


EDIT: Can I make a male character as well?

EDIT: Never mind. I read the first post, and raelized I missed the 'one character' part.

I just think it's lacking male characters here, lol!

Charlie leaned back on the wall. She ran her fingers through her hair as she watched the scene unfold.

Sure, she was grateful to be off the streets but she was really sick of being here. She done with exercising. She didn't understand why she had to any more. She was tired, and not in the mood.

But in case any one was looking, she set back down on her mat and began doing sit ups.

It was important that she be careful whose toes she tread on when she was here. She'd rather be here being told what to do than on the streets. Though she'd never admit that.

Jane pushed her body off the mat,she only got about 10 feet off the ground before she started to fall,after all she is only 9.Her powers havent fully developed yet.She landed on the large puffy mat.

Charlie watched the other girl approach her and shuffled across the mat a bit before standing up.

"I'm fine," she said a bit shortly.

It was hard to do but realizing she'd been rude, she apologized. "I'm sorry, I'm just worn out today."

How much longer could she do this? Something felt so wrong about some random guy wanting them to work out?

Did he want them to be criminals? She had no idea.

She pushed a strand out of her hair a bit more. Chewing on her lip, she glanced over at the other girl.

"Do you know how much longer until we have some free time to ourselves?" she asked, in hope that it would be soon. She was dying to go for a walk and get some fresh air and maybe even go for a run.

She looked the eagle perched on her arm "Well percy, this is my new life, don't get all freaked out ok?" The Black eagle named Percy just looked at her not anwsering her question.

"I am new," Charlie shoved her hands into her pockets, in order to avoid hand shaking.

It took her a few moments before she turned to face Celeste again. "I'm Charlie, and a half hour? Are you kidding me?"

She bit back the curses. It was almost tempting to just leave. But shelter. A place out of the rain. Somewhere safe. At least she thought it was safe.

Could she pass that up? No.

Her stomach felt like it was on fire, as did her arms from the chin ups. This was a bit ridiculous but maybe if she got stronger, it'd help her endurance and she wouldn't be as affected when helping someone.

She could hope, right?

"How old are you?" she asked the girl, Celeste? She wasn't sure. She thought that was her name.
