Creature writing contest.

Ok, so this is a contest where you pick one of your creatures. The creature doesn't have to be rare, because it's the writing that counts. I would prefer if it had a REAL name, though.

HOW TO~ Just write a short story/poem about your creature. (Choose 1) The poem should be 1-5 paragraphs. The story can be an actual STORY, or it could just describe your creature in looks and personality. A story should be 1-3 paragraphs.

Let's keep the prize a secret. 😉

This is about my nogar allegretto:

Boom! Crackle! Zap! Lightning flashes through the thunder clouds outside the cave. You have been in the cave for a while stealing a few eggs when all of the sudden you see a lonely looking egg sitting in a corner all by itself. You rush over to it and your yes ever widening in horror at its scars. You take it and rush back to your cove hopeing to heal the egg over time.

My name's allegretto. When i was still an egg a strange girl walked up to me and she picked me up as an egg and hugging me tightly brought me back to her warm cove. She was whispering about my scars and bruises. but what she does not know is that my species, the nogars were always like this. And always will be.

1 year later.... Allegretto has grown. At first I thought her scars and wounds would heal over time. They just stayed. And i learned through our little conversations with each other through the mind that there species were always like that... And always will be.

My wings they beat faster then my heart.
My heart it beats like a millon shooting stars.
I may be bratty, I may be loud.
But you should know I've never been so prowd.
That you are my owner, the one who gives me love.
And I couldnt wish for a better home then yours!
Even when your gone for hours,

You make my heart beat the way it does.
You make my wings beat faster then my heart,

Glow-Stick flew silently through the night. His feathers glowed in the moonlight, dragging ever so slightly on frosty winter ground. He knew he had to find the place. 'Ah, there it is," Glow-Stick thought pained. 'The Frozen Forest...' He landedquietly on a tree branch, and hopped forward through a few trees. 'Here goes nothing,' and Glow-Stick pushed away a curtain of vine's from his path.An icy clearing met his gaze, small white flowers gave off a sparkling dust, and frost white grass shone in the incredible brightness of the moon. In the center, a huge ice crystal-encased tree stood. 'My home,' thought Glow-Stick weakly. How many memories did he have of this place with his mother and silings? 'But it's all gone now,' he thought painfully. 'They're all dead, they're blood shed by the cruel fangs of an evil nogar.' Glow-Stick's gaze hardened with fury. 'Those cruel, ripping fangs. I will have my revenge, one day, just not today.' Images of large, sharp teeth and bloddy nights swirled through his mind.

'No, I won't think about it..that...that night..' and Glow-Stick quickly banished the thoughts.He grew solemn, then hopped onto an ice encased branch of the tree in the center.Glow-Stick began to sing a sweet, melodious tune, so sorrowful, and enchanting:
Forever gone from wehre I am,
But never from my heart.
Ripped savagely from my reach,
But not from my memory.
I love you, my family,
Now hear my call in the night,
So it may make your souls bright.
You're the echo from the wind,
The song of the night,
The Passion of the wind.
Goodbye my family, I will see you again,
In a sunny light, where there is no fright,
Only love and life.

This it:
Left in the rain.
Told I was only trash.
I was worthless,
Then she left.
Nothing could mend my heart
You ripped it into peices to small.
The steps of the adpotion center,
So cold.
Im whisked away inside,
Where its nice and warm.
Given love and care.
Shes great, she loves me but,
She reminds me how I was left.
She rips my heart into smaller peices lost forever.

I see my small Rhine asleep in my lap.
Shivering,
Shes having nightmares again.
I hold her in my arms,
I sing her a song.
She wakes up slowly,
And hugs me tight.
"I will never leave you,
Your MINE."
I tell my little sweet Rhine.

Here's a story about Pumkin, my Lemac:


Hello there! I'm an Archeologist! Right now, my camel, Pumkin, is trudging through the sand as we, meaning me and my Caravan, trek to The Great Pyrimid of Giza. I've decided to study how it was built and all that stuff. It's so HOT out though! I don't think I can make it without another guzzle of water...

BAM! That's what I heard right before I blacked out. Later I realized that I had slipped out of my saddle and hit my head on a large rock that just HAPPENED to be were I fell! UUUUGGHHH!!! SO now I'm laying there in the sand, face down, and nobody comes to help me! Well, somebody did. As I regained consciousness, I recalled having my ribs nudged over and over again. It was quite bothersome, I mean until I realized that I was all alone in the desert, apart from Pumkin, which was/is making this distressed camel noise, kinda sounding like an 'AAAHHHHH', but more like a camel.

So, here I am, in the middle of the desert, alone, with my camel 'AAAAHHH'ing right next to my ears, and then I realized, slowly as always with my simple brain, that Pumkin wasn't tied up... he ACTUALLY stayed with me! Which is surprising because camels are herd animals. So, in return for staying with me in the desert (which I'm out of by now, don't you worry. I'd been found by another, more friendly caravan.), I've stayed with him ever since.
