@hedwig68 no it was Drakomo. 😊 The 1st creature ian picked to put on eggcave. he actually put more than one at the start of eggcave.

I am actually nicer to newer users unless they are rude to me and are like "LOL. GIVE ME UR PETZ."

I happen to dislike older users more.
I can only take so many "pity" posts, and once you have been on for a while you find certain people who post them quite a bit.
I can only handle my friends who have more optimistic attitudes.
But I cannot handle random, hyper people. It makes me ache even though I used to be like that.

A ton of my optimistic friends have the same views and have been flooded out by the people who we don't so enjoy. I am holding on by a rope. And slipping at that xD

Yeah.
Everyone used to be so nice in the beginning.
I'm guessing people feel that they are better and feel like they have the right to be rude.

Yeah I've seen a few more people quitting.
People try to beg for their creatures when they leave, which I don't like.

Too bad you're barely hanging on. Haha.

Yes, I see your point. Users are rude and snappy nowadays, and its plain annoying. Maybe its school, etc. Here's my rant.

These people have no grammar!

As much as I love new users, some are annoying. They tick me off.

Some user starts accusing of one another of scams, lies, quitting, etc. All that. TOO MUCH DRAMA. (And mind you, I'm in a drama class.)

I haven't seen any new users that have been rude or accusing people of things.
I've only seen nice new users.

But I agree that there is some drama floating around.

I know that they don't know better, but "Can I have your tine and gobbler for....a STAR YEEP?" doesn't help their rep. (little exaggeration there/) And it's not just the newbies either.

That annoys me too but I try to be nice about it.
I admit it gets hard, but I just breathe and kindly tell them no.
I've added two notes on my profile now saying nothing is UFT unless it's in the TC.
That seems to help.

Second problem: Grammar. I'm not an English teacher, but I know that you should speak correctly. I mean, I once read, " TTYL GF & GL on ur find." ?????? Speak ENGLISH people.

@shelby I don't think its any less active. It's just the combination of school (with lots of important tests coming up) and the forum. Like @icymuffin said, its a lot easier to notice things like quitting users and slow periods when you have a forum and livepulse. I have the feeling that once people are out of school things will pick up a bunch. It's something I notice happening during the day too. It's real quite here from about now till 3-4pm ECT, and then things pick up a whole lot.

Side note: The Eggcavern staff has not forgotten about Code Yeep. You have to realize that the plot leak really, really hurt our progress. And now we are running into the same thing, the end of school and lots of tests. It will be released. Just give us time.

@leafpelt: Bad grammar, to a point, doesn't bother me. Its the text speech that is what makes posts hard to read sometimes. Forgetting a comma or another punctuation doesn't really bother me nor do I care if there is a comma here or there.
