I want to know how to get views and what they are. How do you get clicks too? What is the difference between a click and a view?

This is the best explanation from me: You can get views from your featured pet(which is your whoon, Moosaren). Clicks are gained when some clicks on it, there are click exchanges like Eggcavern.net , rather than just viewing the page(like if you put it in your signature or another website for views).

@go4wardViews are just when people see your pet's image, such as right now we see your featured, so he gains views.A click is when someone clicks your creature to feed it, for example.

Okay, thanks to you both, I get it now.

So, how come the "click", "view" and "feed" counts are so different? I've seen some pets that have thousands of views, but only a few hundred clicks and feeds.. I still don't get it... You have to view, then go back and click on it, then go back and feed it? Seems like a lot of work and some people have over a hundred pets?

@morgennareane Views can be given without clicking or feeding a pet. ANY time someone comes to your profile, looks at a topic you've posted in, sees your pet anywhere, it gets a view. You only get clicks if someone clicks on it. Same with feeds, you only get feeds if someone actually clicks the food item and feeds your pet.Edit: The FAQ, also has some good answers about things like views, feeds, and clicks.

@orderedchaos: Thanks, you've been very helpful! I'm still a little confused about clicks and feeds, would kind of make more sense for them to be the same.. I'll read the FAQ, though.. But, just real quick, like, what you're saying is that I would have to individually click on each egg in the person's cove in order for it to count as a click? Cause when I feed people's pets, I just click on the 1st one and then just hit "next creature", feed it and so on.. Obviously that doesn't count towards clicks..😃

@morgennaraene That does count as clicks. Any link you click on on Egg Cave that takes you to a creature gives it a click. So clicking "Next creature" gives the creature a click. The reason the numbers for clicks and feeds can be different is because not everyone feeds a creature after clicking on it.

@orderedchaos: AHA!!!! Ok, NOW I get it, LOL!! Perhaps they should put something up about that in the FAQ, explaining the difference between views/clicks/feeds, unless there is and I'm totally missing it... Anywho, thanks, I gots it from here 😉
