----I'M A BIRD ESSAY ENTRY----

If I was a bird, I would prefer to be either an Osprey or a Northern Spotted Owl, for I would love soar over oceans and forests. Both of them are birds of prey, giving them a place on top of the predator chain. Northern spotted Owls prefer to live in dense forests, while Ospreys, alternately, make their homes in the open, beside rivers and seas.

Out of the two, I would choose being an Osprey, because they mainly prey on fish and build their nests in open, fresh air. I would rather not have furry rodents in my beak, so i'll much rather prefer having an Osprey's diet, fish. Ospreys Migrate in large distances, and could be found in tropical regions in all continents! (Except Antartica, of course) I love adventures, and migrations over a whole ocean is one-of-a-kind.

If I was an Osprey, I would build a nest on a cozy tree over looking the river, and occasional fishing with my pals! I might harass a Bird Watcher or too, and anyways, would you like it if there are people staring at you when you're having lunch?
Since Ospreys could eat on about any type of fish, I would prefer Salmon, Carp, or any larger fishes, so I won't need to hunt occasionaly. After a feast of tasty fish, flying around and exploring the riverbeds sounds like a great idea. When night falls, I would curl up lazily in my soft, downy nest and have dreams of fish, fish, and fish.

In conclusion, these are the reasons why I would be an Osprey, spashing into the cool waters fishing up snacks, and flying over oceans with the wind blowing through my feathers!
