Welcome All Club Members!

Thank you for joining our humble and friendly club here in Egg Cave's Forum.

Please add the #BOAF hashtag to your profile once a member of this club.

Here is our few and simple rules for everyone to adhere to as long as you are a club member.


1) You can only join with your main account here on Egg Cave.

2) Only two different species of birds are required to join us.

3) You must keep 2 types of birds in your Main Cove for the duration of your membership here.

4) Remember to be respectful of others. (Egg Cave's Site Guidelines for Conduct apply here)

5) Listen to all Club Moderators, especially if they have to kindly remind you of something.
If @byfelisa is on hiatus, Head Moderator @tikimaki is in charge of all club matters and @ammolite will provide games and the monthly newsletter, please take note.

6) Please post all questions, ideas, concerns and helpful tips in our #BOAFCHAT.
(Can ping moderators at any time, but be mindful we all have different time zones)

7) You have to post the club's anthem and motto in our club's main forum thread to be eligible for the monthly raffle drawing.

8) When playing games, winning contests and activity prizes, you must wait for @byfelisa to post in the #BOAFFUN forum thread to announce the winners.
All prizes are absolute and non-negotiable.

9) Once a month ends, the monthly newsletter and all its activities are null and void.
All prizes will be disbursed a week after.
(Newbies joining at that time will be given a one week grace period)

10) Participate and have FUN each week/month. 😃


*** Voluntarily, all members can always share the warmth and keep the club happily maintained by:

Welcoming new members
Visiting each others coves
Helping out if a member posts they need help or trying to find a creature/item on Egg Cave
Chatting with one another weekly in our chat forum thread
Letting us know in our main forum thread or in our chat thread you are going on hiatus/quitting
Informing Club Moderators if you are changing your Main Account at anytime
Pointing out a flaw of some kind in the forum or at the club's website
Alerting us all to any new dying coves you find around Egg Cave
Donating artwork, egg coins, creatures, items and free time (especially if a club moderator)
Participate in a few to all activities going on in the club every month

Members that do all or most of these actions are eligible for the MOTM Recognition Reward for extraordinary club fellowship. ***

This is what makes our bird club one of the most longest running clubs and so special. 😸

It's nice to know that their are other bird-loving people! Since the beginning of this year, I have been collecting quite a few bird creatures and hatching them. All of them are on this account with the exception of some immortals (which I keep on a storage). Take a look at my list and you'll find that most of them are birds.

Well, after reading my little passionate speech, here's my request: May I please join this club? 😉

PS. You should add some penguin creatures onto your list. They are birds afterall.

Grazie for pinging, however, I am quite confused if I should join or not >.<

Well, I love birds, but not to the point of being crazy for them. And I prefer feeding people's whole coves rather than just pick out the birds (I find it rather tiring >.<).

Below is a list of anthems and mottos that are for use by our bird club due to an annual contest that was ran and winners was determined so we can have more fun posting our favorite ones here in this forum each day.

All members are welcome to take part in this annual contest.
A poll will be available for members to cast a vote in which the top five (5) semi-finalists will be chosen. Three moderators not participating in the contest will then determine the finalists by vote in which two (2) winners will be announced in this thread and over at #BOAFFUN in that year's next upcoming newsletter.

“CREATURE IMMORTALIZING SERVICE”

This is for anyone in the Birds Of A Feather club to enjoy as one of the benefits of membership. You have to PM @byfelisa and be specific about what creatures you want to be immortal. For more information contact her and know this service takes time depending on how many creature images are being shown all at once.

The time to expect your pets to be matured is 2 to 10 1/2 days if you want an entire cove immortalized.
