So I had a sleepover last night, and I wasn't at my house at all after school, either.

I came home this morning, and the minute I stepped in the house, my sister started yelling; "Danielle, you wanna see a little turkey?"

I looked in the living room and there was a little blanket sitting in the middle of the couch... And this tiny little turkey chick was sitting there!

Holy crap, she's absolutely adorable. When I saw her my jaw dropped and I cried from extreme cuteness overload.

My sister was outside yesterday and she saw the mother turkey with the babies. This one baby walked over to my sister, and when she tried to move it back over, he just kept running back! The mom and its siblings just left it there.

My sister named her Lucky. But omg, she's SO adorable! I can't stand it. X'D She chirps a lot. She falls asleep in my dad's hand, but when we put her on the blanket she runs away. She eats meat. And she likes shiny things.

@Pebblestar_nightclan I wish we could keep her. My mom says we can keep her for a week at the most. She was talking about some Autobon Sicety or something that cares for birds... Not sure if they'd take a week-old turkey, though. ^^

I'll see what happens. She's the sweetest little thing... I don't want to let her go somewhere else. We're the only family she knows now. When she's hungry she starts pecking in my mouth like how the mother might feed them. X3

I had baby ducks once and a robin. Birds are high maintenince and hard to care for. Why do you think its dying? What have you been feeding it? Maybe I can help😊

I think she's okay now. 😃 She opened her eyes and lifted her head and she's walking around a bit now. Her chirping is louder. I think it's because her cage was dirty. X3

@pebblestar_nightclan He looked really thin, like he was hungry. My mom had to open his beak to feed him last night. His cage wasn't clean, so he could've gotten infections from his own waste. I woke up this morning and checked on him and he was gone.

His body's stiff, but he looks awfully peaceful. Sitting on a towel on a heating pad with his head to the side and a little blanket over him.
