Her friend was a Loki loyalist (I am using that term from now on. XD) who wanted Aykay to give up trying to find Stark. She cut ties with Aykay to protect herself and is likely dead, seeing as Aykay found her bracelet in the tunnel.

I'm really trying to steer clear of Mary Sueism with Aykay. Lol. Having her past makes it very difficult. XD
What I'm trying to do is have her not be super depressed about what happened to her and have her be more frustrated than anything because she's realizing that she's not as powerful as she thought she was.
*brain explodes* thinking too hard...

Kita's past is pretty tame. Her family was captured, she got separted by them, and then she was raised as a servant to Loki, where her empathic powers have kept her alive (she knows when Loki is super angry and thus knows when it is safe to be near him and when it is not).
Which is really not that tragic, since she lives in the palace... And gets fed...
Wow. Kita has a relatively comfortable life...
