I remember back when mos were the rarest of the rare. Now it seems like almost everyone with an account age of over 6 months has one. XD Or maybe that's just my envy acting up.

I remember when no one hoarded the Ghosty. And then when someone offered a Mo for it, no one was willing to part with their only one.

And also then when ww had to click cancel on that pop up thing when we fed creatures.

Then when Tim's came out, everyone was so happy.

Ohhh~~~ And when the first 251 Balrogs came late, everyone made a big fuss. The reason they came late was because too many people were there & caused the server to lag xD

I remmber when creatures said things when you fed them

And then there were about 20ish different users on each of the leaderboards

And Ian had a completely random assortment of creatures

I remember when we had that little conversation about how Ian pressed the "red button" & caused the whole Egg Cave to no longer work except for the blog xD

Ugh, can't we go back to the old simple days @Ian

I wouldn't have even cared about how rare they would have been, i probably just would have collected the cute ones.

I came right before the onny, then left because I didn't know where to find people or how the cave worked. I think that week Ian wasn't except blog comments, so I didn't know what to do with myself.

Can I pet her, too? She reminds me of my babies, Carnation and Fuchsia. They both died while I was away on hiatus. :c I mourn for them.

I missed the balrog plot, but for different reasons, and then spent MONTHS trying to trade someone for one. I finally traded for a CC one with . . . I don't even remember now. XD

I think of V1 like, my eggcave childhood. It was good while it lasted, but one of the problems with v1 that people complained about was it being boring - so I'm sure if nothing had changed, people would have quit from bordem,

I don't know about that. I'd say V2 marks a significant place in the development of EggCave. From here, the town buildings will be filled in with actual /places/. XD We'll be able to explore Ark, do new things, collect new eggs. I'm excited for what's to come.

I can't remember how many were available from the start, but a good 15 or so common creatures. 😊 I know I had a Mekii and a Sorien, though.

haha, yeah. 😊 egg cave did have some great moments in its infancy, but the site has definitely evolved. it's been shaped by you guys and all of the suggestions. and it's ultimately you all who have made this site great (and what it is today).

life was simpler back in the golden days, yes, but let's face it: if egg cave were still the same as it were 2 years ago, it'd be boring. XD
