The perfect circle stuff is mostly just to help you visualize the problem, and to let you know that there is no preferred point of entry to the island. ^^;

@scorch_cloud222 That's just about it. There are a couple variations to the answer.

The one I came up with when I was told this riddle was to, after securing the rope to some sort of tree on the mainland, walk around the island several times. From there, you could shimmy across the rope, or whatever else.

Do you make a lassoo throw it and it latches onto the tree, then you run around the edge of the lake then jump. As you swing round the rope will wrap around the tree. Making you spin in a smaller circle each time until you run out of rope and have to drop off on the island 😊

The tree is too far away to lasso. XD Give up on the lasso thing.

@silver_winged

You said "infinite length", and you didn't specify the distances involved... xP

That's not a matter solely of rope length- that's also a matter of how hard the human arm can throw. XD

Hmmph. Well, I can throw hard. For I'm not a girl, but a manly man. With big, buff arms. xD

Uhh... can we zip-line? xD

I have no idea.... this is annoying ☹️

I sort of said that. I said to thrown the lassoo and then crawl accross the rope, you know lye on it and then pull yourslef across

XD The central idea of the puzzle is wrapping the rope around the tree. Whatever you do from there is up to you.

When my creator was little, I was very big. You cannot see me with open eyes, but indeed with closed ones. In me, you can do anything. What am I?

uhhhh..... Wait, here's a riddle I stole from an Old T.V Show!!! 😃

A man takes his son to "Take your son to work day." They are in the dad's office, when a fire starts. The dad passes out from the heat, and the boy goes to the window, and starts calling for help.
A firefighter looks at the boy and shouts,
"GET THE BOY OUT OF THERE!!! HE'S MY SON!!!!"

How is that possible? 😉

The firefighter is his mom.

A criminal is accused of a crime and has to choose between two doors. Each door is guarded by a trained security guard, one who is always truthful and one always lies. One guard is guarding a door leading to freedom, the other guards the door to prison forever. The criminal can ask only one question to either guard. What does he ask?

@hvernon

That's an OLDDDD one. I have the answer to it on one of my pet's profile, actually, XD

You ask "What would the other person say if I asked them which one they were?"

(Frankly, I would punch one, and say, "Did I just punch you?")

Okay, heres another one..... 😋

Three scintists found a man in a block of ice.
They all were trying to guess what he was.
They knew he wasn't a caveman, or an alien.
Then, a scintist figured it out.
"It's Adam." he said, and he was right.

How did the scintist figure it out?
