"No not at the moment Shadow. In a couple months though, if you can wait that long, there will be." Angel laughed as he shouted. "Tonight your going to meet the pack! I'll call a gathering."

"Um..... Angel? Can we talk..... erm..... privately?" Lupus asked her. He looked nervous. He was sweating (?), and walked off. "Hopefully, Angel won't mind..." he thought.

"O-okay." Angel followed Lupus. 'Will he ask me? I hope he does!' She kept throwing thoughts in her head. She smiled as she followed, although she was very nervous of what he was going to ask her.

When Lupus and Angel got to somewhere in private, he started to ask, "Um, Angel? Can I b- be your....?" he started to ask her... His tail twitching, and he had a look in his eyes.

"M-mate? Yes Lupus!!" Angel pounce on him playfully and they rolled down a hill. She ended up on top and smiled. "I won!" She got off and ran back up the hill and waited for Lupus. "I'll race you back to camp!!" She started to run back to camp.

Lupus smiled, and ran up the hill with Angel. He rarely was as fast as he was now. His tongue lolled out of his mouth sometimes. He was finally happy.

Angel stopped right outside camp. "Lupus, I just have one more question for you. What do you think of pups?" Angel had always wanted pups.

Shadow looked at Skeeth. "Who's Lupa? Is she going to adopt me?" he said, tail on the ground. He missed his mother--even though he never met her. Or his father.
His eyes showed sadness. "Do you know my real mother?"

"Well, I always loved having a big family when I was young, so yeah, I'd love it!" he said. Lupus still felt the euphoria from that moment. "Ah, yes." he happily thought.

"Let's announce the news tonight!" Angel walked into camp overly happy and waiting to tell the new about her and Lupus. She wondered what the pups where going to look like.

"W-well, no. I don't know who your real mother is, but Lupa my mate, is going to be your adopted mother. I'll be your adopted father." Skeeth was surprised at the question that was thrown at him.

Well, Lupus and Angel are now mates, and are going to announce at a gathering later on. Skeeth and Lupa have adopted Shadow a pup. Hmm, that's about it.

"Yes, please tell everyone there is a gathering tonight and all wolves must attend." Angel was happy and walked off to get her den ready for her new mate and hopefully family.

"Shadow, I promise you, that we will find out why your mother did what she did, and where she is now." Skeeth put a paw on Shadow's shoulder and smiled as they walked to Skeeth's and Lupa's den.

Lupa yawned and licked Shadow softly. She nuzzled him. "Skeeth, can we talk for a second? Privately?" she asked. She pulled him off to a corner.

Wingtail walked around camp, minding her own business. Then a coal black pup caught her eye. He was with Skeeth and Lupa. 'I've never seen a pup in camp before,' thought Wingtail. 'Probably we're just nursing it until it can hunt again.' Wingtail stalked over to Skeeth. "Hey, Skeeth," Wingtail started off, rubbing her paws. "Who's this little pup?"

Shadow followed Skeeth. "Um...If you're adopting me...does that mean I can call you dad?" he said, but the anwser was probally no. "And, when my mom left me... she said, 'Shadow. Try to remember me. I won't be back for a long time.' and that's when she left. That's all I remember about her." Shadow cried.

Lupus spread word about the gathering. "Will we have new pups?" He wondered. Then he walked back to Angel. Nuzzling her, he smiled.

Angel licked Lupus's cheek and she walked off to find berries and a huge leaf that could carry them. She pick tons of berries and went back to her den. "Lupus, we have to put our paw print on the den." She smashed the berries and then put her paw in it and then pressed it against the den wall.


"Of course, we are Lupa! We are going to have a big family even if we have Shadow. Now come on I bet he has a lot of questions." Skeeth smiled and nudged her and walked back to Shadow. "Shadow yes, you can call me dad."

"Okay Shadow, we can play hide in seek. You and Lupa hide, I'll seek. I'll give you till ten!" Skeeth closed his eyes and started counting to ten very slowly.

"Lupus, it's a big responsibility. I surprised that I'm doing so well with it now. I'm glad that your helping me now!" Angel yawned and curled up in the nest that could fit another wolf.

Shadow yelped in excitement. He rushed over to a small bush. He layed down, that way Skeeth couldn't find him in the bush.

Lupa yealped and hid next to Shadow. "Do you think he'll find us?" she whispered. Luckily she was pretty small so it would be hard to find her.

Wingtail stared at the pup and his new family. It looked like having pups would be a great experience. Then she thought about Shade. "Shade!" Wingtail called in a sing-song voice. She bounded off to where Shade was sleeping and nuzzled him softly. "Hello," she whispered softly.
