Angel came rushing back into the front. "I'm ashamed of this pack! You cannot destroy another wolves' den just because you do not like them. Who ever went into Kiana's den and ruined her nest come forward now and your punishment will not be as harsh as it will if you don't!" Angel looked at the wolves and spotted two with guilty expressions.

Cinder watched Angel run away and saw the messed up nest. She quickly followed Angel and said, "What happened?" She looked at the nest and wondered who would do such a thing. She began to help fix the nest feeling bad for Kiana that someone was so mean that they would do this to her nest.

XD THE WOLF..... IS NOT GUILTY!

Lupus watched curiously. Someone had destroyed Kiana's nest? Ouch. It always took days, or even months rarely to build back nests together. Then he saw two guilty wolves. He breathed a little slower. He knew how Angel punishes someone. Then Lupus tried to help by fixing parts of the nest. He also saw Cinder trying to help.

Cinder finished helping and nodded at Lupus for helping her. She then walked back to stand next to Angel. She at the two guilty lookin wolves and narrowed her eyes. She wondered what Angel would do to them and looked at the alpha to listen to want she was. She knew hat whatever it was though it would be severe.

The two wolves came up and held their heads low. "I should've know. For the next two weeks you are responsible for taking care of the elders, and making sure the mothers with newborns are fed well. You will also help rebuild Kiana's nest and if after that it happens again and you two are responsible you will be forever banned from this pack. For the rest of my pack, you are dismissed." Angel made them go help fix the nest.

Lupus sighed and looked at the wolves that destroyed the nest. "Ouch." he whispered to himself. He padded up to Angel. "You okay?" he asked before going back to help rebuild the nest. It was really messy.

Cinder watched the wolves grumble about having to go clean up the destroyed nest. She smirked at the thought of them getting what they deserved and she hopped down from the rock. She had other things to worry about, like she would have to take a mate soon but she didn't want to. She sighs and headed for her nest, she curled up and fell asleep quickly. She dreamed of fresh-kill and springtime, snorting happily in her sleep.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just tired, lately so much has been going on. Wolves are misbehaving and we lost our original gamma to sickness." She sounded like she was going to cry. She was overwhelmed and needed a day to relax. Skeeth came up to her and walked her to her den.

"Angel, tomorrow you stay in bed. Lupa, Cider, Wingtail, and I will take care of it. You need a day of rest I don't want you to get sick." Angel had an uneasy feeling about that, but after some persuading she agreed.

After a few minutes of silence, Lupus started to pad over to his den, starting to dream of fresh-kill. Lupus frowned and started to head back to Angel. "When is the mating season?" he asked her curiously. Then Lupus looked at the grumbling wolves and chuckled slightly as he padded ever so slightly to his den.

Wingtail heard the news. Kiara's nest is destroyed? Wingtail moaned and buried her head in her paws. Re-building nests is so tiring, long, and boring! Wingtail moaned again, louder this time. She peeked out of her paws and saw two guilty and ashamed-looking wolves. She pounced over to them and started to scold.

Cinder woke up a few moments later and walked over to all the others. She heard Lupus's question and looked at Angel curiously, she had forgotten that mating season was probably close. She sat down and nodded at what Skeeth said and licked her chest in a sign of worry. She wondered what was happening with the pack and hoped that Angel would be able to take care of it.

A cold wind whipped around Lupus, and then dispersed. It was near the mating season, Lupus guessed. Then why were cold winds still coming? He shivered uneasily. "This is kind of abnormal..." he thought.

"Lupus, it's in three days time. That reminds me, I need to find a mate soon. I don't want to have one though. I mean, I want to have a mate, but I want a wolf who wants to be my mate for me, not because of rank!" Angel sighed as she got comfortable in her nest. Her den was made for her, a mate, and a litter or two of pups.

Cinder sighed and said to Angel, "I feel the same way. There are so few good wolves of there," she said sadly. Angel had always been a good friend of hers and was glad that someone was going through the samething. She smile at her friend reassuringly and said, "Maybe we will get lucky though."

Wingtail overheard Angel. It was almost mating season, and she didn't have a mate yet! She really wanted a mate, and she wanted to have pups! She moaned again and stopped scolding the two.

"Oh... Sorry if you burst out a little...." Lupus said as he padded to his den, feeling alone as he was in the beggining. He sighed. He probably sure that he would never get to a high rank.... (XD) Suddenly, Lupus thought about Angel for a moment. Then he just hopelessly just looked out of his den, out of hopelessness.

Cinder sat down next to he and said, "Yeah pups would be great but we have to find a mate first ." She said sadly and looked outside the den. She sighed and wondered what it would be like to have a mate. She smiled at Angel and waited for her to answer.

Shade was watching all the wolves speak to each other but didn't go and join in. He had to admit that not talking to others got lonely but he was used to it. He laid down and watched them closely hoping they wouldn't notice him. He sighed and closed his eyes but didn't fall asleep.

Wingtail lost her confidence to get a mate, gave up, and closed her eyes. She walked over to her nest and started to drift off to sleep. She dreamed she has a mate, and 4 pups. She started to mutter happily in her sleep.

"Cinder, tomorrow will be the start of mating season. I can't believe it, time just flew by!" Angel had a worried tone. Even though she had her day of rest mating season was just a day away.

Wingtail woke up, yawning. She wasn't hungry yet, so she joined Angel and Cinder's conversation. "I don't have a mate yet... And I really want one!" Wingtail whined. Tomorrow was mating season, and Wingtail was close to tears. It was her dream to have a mate.

Abnormally, Lupus got up and started to pace around the territory, which was oddly near Angel. He wished that he could find a mate. Not because of rank, just because of loneliness and love. "It's always hard without those you love..." he thought. (That was yesterday...)

Lupus got up, and went to go hunting. He pounced on some rabbits (4 of them...), and gathered berries. For some reason, he padded to Angel's nest, carrying the food. He dropped it next to her. "Sorry if I bothered you... I just thought you felt a little hungry..." he said as he padded away.

Cinder nodded, "Yeah it seems like it has only been days since the last mating season." She said with a matching worried tone and shuffled her paws. "I wish that it were years away and not tomorrow," she admitted to Angel and Wingtail. She tried to seem calm but she was freaking or on the inside.

Shade was eating a rabbit all alone. He didn't speak to anyone and kept to himself. Nobody came near him and he sighed sadly but didn't say anything. At times he wished that he had some company because he was often lonely. He stated at a group of females and wondered what they were talking about.

Wingtail nodded at Cinder. "I agree..." She looked at her paws. She glanced at the males surrounding her, trying to stay calm. "Will my dreams ever come true?" Wingtail hoped, close to tears. She stalked away, looking for prey. She was still thinking.

"Gosh, I wonder what Lupus is doing." Angel smiled at Cinder, "Hey maybe you could go talk to Shade." She then walked in the direction of Lupus and smiled. "Hey Lupus, what are you doing?" Her fur sparkled brightly and she smiled.

Cinder shook her head, "Shade is like my brother, I am not in love with him." She said and walked away to the woods to think. She say on a large rock and thought for a moment, she then laid down and fell asleep on the rock. She slept soundly but was thinking the whole time.

Shade saw Wingtail on the verge of tears and walked over, "What is wrong?" He asked surprised that he was actually talking to another wolf for once. He had almost forgotten what it felt like to talk to another, besides Cinder. He docked his head at her and waited for her to answer.

Lupus heard a greeting from Angel and smiled. "Just going to hunt, as usual." he said as he started to walk to the clearing in the forest, near Cinder. There were a lot of animals. He was still in the sight of Angel.

While Wingtail was hunting, she stopped in a patch of lush green grass, and settled down for a nap. Her fur was shining in the broad daylight. She didn't know she was insecure and an easy target for attackers.

Shade stared at Wingtail and sighed when instead of answering she fell asleep. He shouldn't have expected an answer, most wolves just ignored him. He silently walked away and began to hunt. He tracked a squirrel and began to stalk forward, he got ready to strike.
