Smokekit ran from the nursery. "Can't Catch me!" The second born kit yelled as she bounded across the clearing.
"Oh Yeah?" Jaykit Called and sniffed the air. Soon she found her trail and ran after her older sister. Whitekit sat and laughed at the two. With Jaykit blind everyone would think that the others had an advantage when they play fought. That was not always the case. "Haha! Got ya!" Jaykit yelled happily as she pinned her older sister down.
"Okay you got me now get off!" her litter mate whined. Jaykit got off of her and the three laughed together.

Ravenpaw laughed lightly watching the kits play. "Hey Wolfpaw!" The apprentice walked up to her. "What are you doing?" The black she-cat asked.

Leopardstar watched her clan. The kits were playing and everyone was happy. A gathering was going to happen soon. Leopardstar walked over to the nursery. "JayKit, Whitekit, SmokeKit I bet you guys can't catch me!!" Leopardstar loved playing with the little kits.

Moonfur walked towards the old oak roots and started to dig for herbs. She soon caught a scent of fox and hurried back to camp with her jaws full of herbs.

Nix crept out the window. She sat on the fence and perred into the forest, why wasnt she alowed to go? "Nix!" Her mother shouted from inside. "Coming Mama!" She said and pushed open the window. "Come on Nixie!" Shouted Pixie one of her litter-mates. "Its NIX not Nixie!" Nix said jumping on her sister.

"Mama! Nix is scraching me!" Moaned Pixie. "Nix! Get off your sister!" Her mother said. "I didnt even scrach her!" Nix yowled. "Did to!" Pixie said. "I HATE YOU!" Nix said to Pixie. "Come on Nix, Pix, break it up" The grey kit said. "But Dixie!" Nix mewed. "Dont but me!" Said there older brother, "I'm leaving!" Nix said. She jumped out the window and over the fence in a leap and stared at the forest across the place where twoleg machines pass quite often. There were none right now so she broke into a run in took a few cosious steps into the forest.

The three kits looked at each other. Well accept for Jaykit. "We so can!" Jaykit yelled and soon the three ran after there leader. Smokekit Grabbed her tail, Whitekit Stopped in front of her paws to trip her and Jaykit jumped on her back. "Haha!" Jaykit yelled happily. The three jumped on the leaders back "Were the best warriors of all time!" Smokekit yelled and the three laughed and started calling there selves warrior names. "Well done Jaywing" Smokekit dipped her head trying not to laugh "You too SmokeFur" Jaykit giggled. "I think we make a great team" Whitekit smiled "Always, Whiteclaw." Jaykit said and the three laughed and pretended to be warriors.

Nix walked through the forest and found a heavy scent of other cats. Something else was entangeled in that scent. Something she never smelled before, just then something Red flashed the corner of her eye. She turned with her claws streached out and tail puffed. The red thing came into veiw, she had only seen something like this once, when she was really young. A twoleg came out of the forest with a long loud stick thing, this thing was draped over its sholder. Her mother later told her that it was called a fox. Well this 'Fox' thing noticed her and made a weird hissing/snarling noise. She meowed loudly in a sign of fear but stood her ground.

Wolfpaw wondered further from thye well protected goarge. She jurnied down toawards the antient oak in which she dicided to rest. She lay under the partaily sheded tree with shafts of light beaming down on her long brown fur. She closed her large amber eyes and layed back calmly under the tree. She layed there quietly and undesturbed for many heart beats. The destressed cry of a felow feline alerted her scences as she shot up onto all fours. She perked her tall ears up to listen for anything. Then Wolfpaw remembered what occured earlier in her smell cheack. 'there was anouther smell' she thoguht sniffing the air. 'Now I'm beging to wonder who coragos I am now. I might be crowfood in the next second!'

Ravenpaw sighed. Wolfpaw had gone. "probably with her mentor or something" She mumbled. "Kits, stop bothering Leopardstar she is busy!" She called to the kits. Jaykit sighed "How come you always tell us not to do fun stuff?" Smokepaw followed after Jaykit "Your no fun Ravenpaw" she mumbled. Whitekit nodded "Why don't you let us have any fun?"
Ravenpaw shook her head "You want to be apprentices right?" she asked all three of them looked up at her slightly confused. "Then please, Stop getting in to trouble." she sighed. Even though she was not related to the kits she seamed to get them to lission to her so, that was good enough.
"Fine." Jaykit mumbled and lead her sisters off to play another game. "This time lets play a battle!" Jaykit meowed. "Oh Can i play Tigerstar?" Smokekit asked always loving to play the bad guys. "Okay, I'll be Whitestorm!" Whitekit said. Jaykit smiled "I'll be scourge!" And the three started there game. Ravenpaw sighed overhearing them. "They have been told way to meany story's of Thunderclan." She mumbled knowing the kits dint really know who Whitestorm, Tigerstar, or Scourge was. But it dint matter she was going to let the kits play, for now.

Wingtail walked into the forest with no emotion. She padded through the underbrush, sniffing out a fox scent. 'Hmm,' she though, cocking her head. 'There is a mix of badger and squirrel here too. And a cat.' Wingtail swished her head left and right, looking for any hint of prey. She knew she heard a soft growl.

Mistyshine was snoozing. She was curled up in a ball, sun shining on her gray pelt. Laying on a perfect patch of lush green grass. She was in cat heaven.

Darkclaw was cornered. A fox, badger, and a small squirrel were about to kill him. Darkclaw started to hiss. He scratched the badgers nose, which started to bleed. He clamped his jaw on the foxes neck, which burst and the fox collapsed. He killed the squirrel instantly. He tried to escape.

Moonfur had no idea who this other cat was that she heard but you can't let any cat suffer in danger.

Wolfpaw started to walk around as she sniffed the air. What was the scent. She had no idea what it was, nor had she smelt it before. Anouther cry made her go into panic. She flung around in the direction of the wail. 'I can prove myself worthy of being capable on my own' she thought trembleing. 'I can do this' Wolfpaw began to stedily walk in the direction of the cry. 'I can do this." she mumbled to herself as she broke off into a run.

Jaykit's ears twitched. "Hear that? Theres a Cat in trouble!" She whispered to her sisters.
"Jaykit, we cant do anything about that, were just kits." Whitekit mumbled so no warriors would hear.
"Ravenpaw and the warriors said to stay in camp, Jaykit" Smokekit pointed out.
"I dont care we have to help them! We dont know how old this cat is so, we might as well help right?" Jaykit tryed to convince them. Her two older sisters sighed.
"Alright Jaykit, i guess we can try." Smokekit said.
And with that the three kits crawled away unseen by any other cat.

Jaykit lead her older sisters "Come on i smell Fox this way." she said.
"How do you know what Fox smells like? We have never been out of camp." Smokekit asked looking around.
"This was a Bad idea guys, maybe we should go back" Whitekit said and looked around for any warriors.
"Relax guys, we are just going to beat up this Fox Real fast then get back to camp." Jaykit said confidently. Though her sisters still looked around unconvinced.

The trees punded Wolfpaw's fur as she bolted down the forest, skewing the undergrowth under her big brown paws. 'tghe scent is getting stronger' she thought with the hint of nurvousness iunder her pelt. 'time to reveal who you are!' she began to slow as she cautoiusly pawed lightly towards a small clearing. To her eyes, she was shocked at what she saw. A large redish orange creature was hissing at a smaller cat not of her Clan. "What is that" she whispered to her self in terror.

Darkclaw heard some more rustling in the bushes behind the fox. 'What now?!' he groaned. He heard some more growling, but this time, it was fierce. 5 more foxes, healthy and angry, were charging at him. Darkclaw was ready. He fought with all his might, but he was bloody and weak.

Wolfpaw watched in terror as more foxes apeared from the bushes. 'What if one is behind me?!' she thoguh. 'I got to fight! If I don't I will be clasified as a coward! With out second thoughts, the brown apprentice tore out of the bushes, claws unsheathed. She pranced on one of the foxes backs making it cry in pain. 'I havn't been train for battle' she thought. 'I'll just have to follow my instincts!'

Leopardstar told three warriors to go with her. She saw the foxes and attacked one. She went for the neck. She tried to hold on but was thrown off. She felt like a mouse that was being hunted. She slowly got up and fought. She was slung against a tree. She was unconscious.

Darkclaw noticed that a brown-pelted apprentice appeared. "Get out!" he growled, still fighting a fox. "I can handle this!" Darkclaw killed a fox in the process. 'One down, 4 to go,' he though angrily. "Why are you still here?" he growled, glancing at the apprentice. While he was distracted, Darkclaw took a blow from a fox. He started to bleed again.

Darkclaw sighed. More warriors came to his aid. He wished that they would all go away. This was his practice time. He made all the foxes come. Two more foxes collapsed to the floor dead. He saw Leopardstar and Ivycloud also. And a fox was closing in. Darkclaw was in shock. "I'll save you!" he shouted. He killed the fox with a swift and hard chomp to the neck.

The fox flung wolfpaw around till she let her bloodmatted claws off of the fox in shock. The flew into a tree hard. "owch!"

The fox drew towards her brown pelt teeth snaraling. 'this is it' Wolfpaw thought. 'I'm done...'

"Darkclaw, could you please watch LeopardStar? Your the strongest cat I know." Ivycloud smiled and went to killing the foxes. She went for the neck of one and killed it. It was a pretty quick way of killing them. After an hour or two the foxes were gone. "Guys, I think there gone. Someone needs to see if they have any kits."
