Darkclaw sighed, glancing and the brown apprentice. 'They never learn,' he thought, killing the attacking fox. "Are you okay?" muttered to Wolfpaw, not meeting her eyes.

Jaykit's ears flicked "This way!" she meowed and ran off her two sisters close behind.
"Wait Jaykit-" Whitekit yelled but was cut off as the three kits stopped all at once. All stared in horror at the battle they faced.
Smokekit swallowed hard "I knew they were bigger than us..."
"Much bigger..." Whitekit said. Jaykit confused and angry "How big are they?" She asked Whitekit. she walked over to her and put a paw on her head. "You're this tall." She said "And a Fox is like 5 of you all on top of each other." Whitekit said then looked back at the battle. "Leopardstar!" she gasped. Smokekit's eyes wide in shock.
"No." Jaykit mumbled "This wasn't Supposed to happen!" she mumbled letting her ears lay flat trying to block out the sound of battle. Jaykit got to her paws and slowly backed up under a bramble bush. Whitekit and Smokekit followed. The three crouched down around one another. Whitekit and Smokekit watching incase anything came there way. "I'm such a moue-brain" Jaykit mumbled "This was not supposed to happen"

Wolfpaw got up shaking off the pain. "I'm just fine!" she retorted. She shook of the fox blood matten to her side. Her eyes widend in horror. "Look out!"

Darkclaw saw some kits gathering around Leopardstar. He ignored them and started to clean up his mess.

Ivycloud sniffed the air. "Jaykit? Smokekit? Whitekit?" She found them and made them come out. "What are you doing her? You shouldn't be out of camp!"

"Were sorry..." Jaykit mumbled. Her blind gase fixed on the Queen.
"We just wanted to help." Smokekit looked up at her.
"We heard about the cat in trouble and thought we could save them..." Whitekit said softly.
Jaykit sighed as her sisters talked "It was my idea, they dint wanna come i made them" She said witch made Smokekit at Whitekit object.
"No We all came together its all our faults" Whitekit meowed
"Yeah, we were playing battles and thought we were strong." Smokekit meowed.

"Jaykit, Whitekit, Smokekit, you are strong. Just, not strong enough. Your just kits right now, and you aren't ready for great battles or protecting your clan. Right now your job to have fun! Now please get some help. I can't carry Leopardstar to camp by myself." Ivycloud smiled as she looked around. "Wolfpaw! Could you please help with Leopardstar??"

The three kits nodded and ran off "Help Help!" they screamed threw the forest. "Leoapardstar needs help!" they screamed over and over.

Ravenpaw jumped at the screaming. "Where?!" she asked and the kits lead her to Leopardstar and Ivycloud. "What happened?!" the apprentice asked horror filled her eyes.

"Ravenpaw, there was a fox attack. I want you to help me get Leopardstar back to camp. Tell the deputy what happened and then come back to help me see if the foxes had any young. We don't want another thing like this again." IvyCloud slid under Leopardstar's chest and told Ravenpaw to help her.

Wolfpaw had a mild bruse on her side from when she hit the tree. The fox Had flung her hard when she crashed with a loud bang. She walked p to Moonfur with slightly heavy breaths.

Ivycloud went to camp with Leopardstar on her back. She went to Moonfur and slid Leopardstar on one of the beds. "She's unconscious, but still breathing. I can't wake her up." Ivycloud tried to tell Moonfur everything. "Moonfur, just please, make sure she's okay. I got to go watch the kits." Ivycloud went to the nursery making sure all kits were there.

Owl eyes looked up from her corner...... She padded over to leopardstar..... "are you sure you tried every thing?" she said to ivycloud.......

Jaykit, Smokekit, and Whitekit all ran around the clearing. "Hey Mothkit Wanna play?" Smokekit asked. As she was talking Jaykit jumped on her sister pinning her to the ground "Hey No Fair!" Smokekit hissed and pushed her sister off. Soon the three were jumping and play fighting waiting for Mothkit to come and play with them.

Ravenpaw looked at her paws. Would Leopardstar lose a life? Would she be just fine? How many lives did she have left? Unanswered questions ran in her mind as her claws slid slowly in and out of the grass under her paws.

Ivycloud went over to Ravenpaw and sat down. "Ravenpaw, Leopardstar will be fine, she still has all nine lives. So, if she loses one, she'll still have eight left." Ivycloud put a paw on Ravenpaw's back. "Come with me." Ivycloud went to the Ancient Oak.

Ravenpaw followed the Queen. "I'm confused though," The smaller She-cat meowed. She placed her paws silently on the ground. Her tail swayed close to the ground. She had more questions than just about the Foxes. She sighed quietly the more she thought of questions the more confused she got.

Ivycloud went to the very top of the tree and told the apprentice to follow. "Now Ravenpaw, see windclan the twoleg nest just over there. Well, they too have a family. They have a father and mother and kits. Twoleg kits. They don't like foxes, and neither do we. In a way they help us."

"How can twolegs help us?" Ravenpaw sat down and looked at Ivycloud. "I thought Twolegs just do what ever they want, There monsters run on the Thunderpath not caring if a Cat might be in there way." Ravenpaw meowed. She was even more confused than ever.

Darkclaw marched up to a tree, climbed up it quickly, and started to jump tree to tree, searching for Wingtail.

Mistyshine was still snoozing, and she was in great, great danger. A fox was coming towards her.

Wingtail heard some rustling above. She glanced upwards and there was a shadow leaping. She ran with it.

Wolfpaw walked back to camp, her tail droping to the ground, her head down. 'I'm such an IDIOT!' she thought to herself. 'Why would I think I could take care of five foxes all alone! How pethtic I am...' she approached the camp enternce. 'I don't deserve to be an apprentice' she muttered. 'I'm just a discrace, no stinking good....'

"Wolfpaw!" Smokekit meowed and ran up to her, Jaykit and Whitekit close behind. "Are you okay? We saw the Fox throw you and...." Smokekit trailed off and the three kits looked at the apprentice eyes full with worry. "Well, You two saw it..." Jaykit mumbled.
