I have mixed feelings about it. 😋
Mostly I agree though.

The only reason I trade creatures for CC is the demand that is already there, and I can't buy CC by myself.

It'd be nice if we could just trade for things we want though.

Like even if someone has a creature they don't even really want, and someone offers the best they can that really wants it, most likely they'll reject because the person doesn't have CC included.

My view:
It really bothers me that so many users will only trade for CC. Remember the old days when CC didn't exist and people swapped creatures for creatures? I miss that.
Unfortunately, just like the world, Egg Cave has become a place where money seems to get you everywhere. Most of the time, if you can't buy CC, you are left to yourself and forgotten by others.
But alas, that is the way of the modern world...
I sincerely hope Egg Cave will still stay a mostly community-oriented place, rather than become a money-hungry monster like Neopets.

I remember a time when I could trade 5 hatched CAVE Creatures for a Shaibun.

I had to trade three CC eggs to get the one I have. THREE.

I'm going to try not to rant forever and a day, but sometimes I can't help it.
