RedMoon glowed with pride as RedSun, Blade, Silk, Ivy and Skunk stepped forward to become warriors. She felt her next litter heavy in her stomach already. She was going to tell Scar after the ceremony. He would be so happy! Then she thought about how she used to be a DeathFang and how much better her life was here. She realized that she was happy with the Starpaws. Unlike the DeathFangs.

I step farward. "TODAY! WE CELEBRATE! THE BIRTH OF FOUR NEW WARRIORS AND A NEW HEALER!" I scream. "REDSUN!!! A NEW HEALER! BLADE! YOU HAVE NOW BEEN NAMED BLADETAIL!! SILK I NOW NAME YOU SILKHEART! IVY! I NOW NAME YOU IVYLEAF! SKUNK! YOU ARE NOW NAMED SKUNKPELT!" I scream out to the crowd. They all cheer. "DISMISSED! WARRIORS! SHOW OUR NEW TO THEIR POSITIONS!" I yell to our older warriors. I can feel DeathFangs. Someone jumps into the healer den. Seeing my mate having pups he jumps out. I pounce on him. Drive my claws into his back. "You will not harm my childern or my love you ^$!)&" I scream. I drive my claws into his neck. He falls blood spills on the ground. "THATS RIGHT YOU DEATHFANGS! STAY OUT!" I scream.

RedMoon hears the DeathFangs. She hears SilkHeart scream and peers outside Scar is locked in battle and so is everyone else. SilkHeart is being killed by a huge Death fang. RedMoon launches herself at the warrior throwing him off balence and pinning him to the ground. She is clumsy after having 3 pups and is easily pinned.
He drives his claws into her neck and she gives in to the dizzying blackness.

RedSun ran over to her mother's body and wails when she finds no heartbeat. Fern, Razor and Bumble. Cry with confusion at their mother's diccaperence.

I see my mates body and anger flares in my mind. "NO!!" I scream. I lash at the DeathFangs, I go straight up to the one with blood on his claws. I take my claws and slice the foxes neck, his head falls to the ground. All the other DeathFangs yelp and run back home. I run over to Red.. no heartbeat. I have to do whats right. I take her put her on my back. I carry her to a cave. I stick my head in the water. A fox comes, my mother. "Mother, can you bring my wife back? Please I love her, we have eight childern." I beg. "I will try." she says. My wifes body comes up. The sole of my wife comes up. My mother puts her sole back in her body. When I take my head out of the water Red is gasping on the ground.

RedMoon gazes up at Scar then at her wailing kits. Then her eyes widen as she sees a gray fox creeping up on her them! Scar! She warns.

The fox comes up and I turn, bite him in the neck, and decapitate him like the fox who almost killed RedMoon. "Honey, you promise to never do that again?" I say as I lay down with her. I carry her back to our den, then the newest kits. "What are their names?" I ask. "Are you alright? You could have been killed for good!" I say as I lick our newest litter.

I carry some food into my den, enough to last two weeks. I get some moss too. Enough supplies to last two weeks.
I get some rocks and cover up the door to our cave. "I cant let anyone hurt you." I say. "Ill leave to get more food and water everyday, then I shall come back to make sure you are safe." I tell Red. I get some water and bring it back.

RedMoon padded into her den. But before she reached the entrance she whirled around and begged Scar for one last visit to the forest.

Vix snarled at the StarPaws. She caught sight of Scar, and ran across the clearing. She saw Red fling herself onto another Deathfang, and raced to help her packmate instead.

Storm padded along the trees of Starpaw territory. He heard the serene chirping of the birds, and the faraway yowls from the Deathfang camp.

He stopped for a second to sniff the air, getting the scents of nature and other foxes.

Suddenly, he picked up the scent of a rabbit that was getting increasingly closer to him.

Stalking closer and closer, not making a sound, Storm noticed the rabbit's ears prick up.

Without warning, as the rabbit began to run away, the fox jumped on him and delivered the final blow.

Halo walked with pride as she flicked her tail from side to side along the Deathfang camps. She was considered the most beautiful foxes in Dark Elm Woods. Suddenly a masked fox, white with butterscoth patches swoopt in and caused a commotion. He put a bag over Halo's head and took her off. He took to her far through thick trees, and acroos vast meadows. He finnaly came to serene, quiet little glade, with a den, sparkling pond, and large trees. He took Halo inside and sat her down as he made some food. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH ME!" Halo screamed.

But Rae had slept longer than that, but she did not know.
