I've been doing this for ages! It's the fastest way I know to do feeds haha π
sunshinecat • 18 July 2012 at 12:34 AM
@shadielle I use this same method, but instead of using Ctrl + Click (which can take quite a while) I use Snaplinks. It's an add-on for Firefox or Chrome which lets you select multiple links at once and opens them all in new tabs.
shadielle • 18 July 2012 at 10:08 AM
@sunshinecat Thanks very much for sharing that! I'll try it too, since I use firefox and my computer doesn't usually freezeπ
lily- • 18 July 2012 at 10:39 AM
@shadielleThis is exactly what I do when I want EC fast, but I don't exactly do it for feedbacks, because I have a tendency to miss feeding a few eggs along the way π
shadielle • 19 July 2012 at 10:21 AM
@lily- I don't usually miss eggs since I make sure I click every single one of them;) But of course, it happens sometimes...
james-bond • 11 October 2012 at 5:48 PM
keepin it alive...
tikimaki • 11 October 2012 at 6:16 PM
@shadielle Thank you. ^^ I didn't know step 4. π This will dramatically decrease the time it takes for me to feed. πΈ
shadielle • 11 October 2012 at 6:20 PM
@tikimaki I'm glad it helpedπ
shadowheart3 • 11 October 2012 at 7:15 PM
@shadielle Every time I hit ctrl+ my screen zooms in. D:I can't select more than two eggs before it's zoomed in so far I can't see...Am I doing something wrong or is my computer just different than everyone else?
cqpkytty • 11 October 2012 at 7:30 PM
@shadowheart3No, you don't hit ctrl+ anything, what say 'ctrl+shift' means is NOT hold control, hold plus, press shift, it means hold control and press shift.The + serves as an 'and' there, don't actually press it π

@shadielle AWESOME!! THANKS SO MUCH !!! β€οΈ
mellyottl • 11 October 2012 at 7:42 PM
[also incognito on chrome means it doesn't save so it'll take less room and keep your computer from slowing down. Have to relog in of course and you'll see ads but better than your computer freezing on you]
zero_chaos • 11 October 2012 at 7:43 PM
@shadielleYou may want to add SnapLinks to the front page. Firefox and Chrome users can download an add-on called SnapLinks, which allows the user to hold down on right click and drag it to open as many links as they drag over at once. It also helps to temporarily disable images in your browser; that can help you open over 100 creature pages at once; I have one of the worst computers out there, and I can feed a cove of 300 in about five minutes by opening about 50 pages at a time, since disabled images means a lot less data for your computer and router to process. Other useful shortcuts could include:- Ctrl + Tab (brings you to the next tab)- Alt + F4 (Closes the window completely; useful if you opened too many tabs and it causes your computer to lag too much)- Ctrl + AnyNumber: the number you enter will bring you to that numbered tab. For example, Ctrl + 2 will bring you to the second tab. The most useful, I find, is Ctrl + 9, which brings you to the last tab on the page.With this method, I feed enough coves to make about 1 million EC per week, and I have received enough feedbacks to get five of my creatures on the feeds leaderboards π Just thought I should throw this out there π
shadowheart3 • 11 October 2012 at 11:48 PM
@cqpkyttyOhhhh! Whoops, that makes a lot more sense!! πThanks so much! /crawls under rock. xD
shadielle • 12 October 2012 at 7:10 PM
@shadowheart3 I see @cqpkytty has already helped you.^^@serpentslide I'm glad it helped.π@zero_chaos I have never heard about that, but it seems very useful, thanks!π
2elle2 • 12 October 2012 at 7:23 PM
It makes my computer slower xD But it is pretty fast π
lily- • 12 October 2012 at 8:07 PM
I generally don't feed, since I'm lazy. πBut when I do, I generally use this method, but whilst doing so I miss out on clicking a few of the eggs...
chapus • 13 October 2012 at 12:27 AM
@shadielle I don't understand how you do this. ._. I've tried, but it makes me go slower. xP
cqpkytty • 13 October 2012 at 10:56 AM
@chapus2009Yeah, a ton of tabs does make your computer slower, but the trick is to do like 30 at a time πThen do the next 30, then the next...Just 30 doesn't slow down your computer. Much. π
chapus • 13 October 2012 at 10:59 AM
@cqpkytty Oh, I see. π But I don't understand how this technique is a faster way to feed coves. o3o I honestly prefer the normal way, because my computer is rather old and fragile. >-<

Mine freezes and the same creature picture is showing up everywhere but it still works if you click in the same area. (the feed button) I checked if I fed the creature and it did. (:I do 20 at a time so I don't have to wait for like 100 pages to load which also take a long time and it can sometimes cause the page to not load.
cqpkytty • 13 October 2012 at 3:01 PM
@chapus2009π
shadielle • 13 October 2012 at 10:23 PM
@chapus2009 That's why I stated that it doesn't work for everybody... some computers run slower and when you use this method they'll run even slower, so if that's the case you should use the normal method π My computer is ok so it works just perfectly.π
chapus • 13 October 2012 at 10:23 PM
@shadielle Oh, I see. x3 I'll guess I'll try it again. o-o
Deleted • 14 October 2012 at 2:59 AM
@shadielleYou can use Snaplinks π
fantagejoy • 15 October 2012 at 11:39 PM
@shadielleThanks alot! Now I don't need to click one by one XD
aliney • 15 October 2012 at 11:50 PM
@shadielleIts not working for me. βΉοΈ At step #2... i can open the creatures one by one to a new tab, but not all at once. :'(
cqpkytty • 16 October 2012 at 7:11 PM
@alineyThat's what you do π
aliney • 16 October 2012 at 8:36 PM
@cqpkyttyWAit, so you open them all in a separate tab at the same time? ^^
cqpkytty • 16 October 2012 at 11:05 PM
@alineyOne at a time.Like, *open one in a new tab* *open another in a new tab* *open another in a new tab* *open another in a new tab* *continue until you get to about 25 open or the end of the cove, whichever comes first π* *feed them all with clicking/ctrl+W* *repeat*π
