@treva

What? I traded it to you because I thought they were worth the same! I'm serious, I've stolen a bunch of storticai's and traded them got 500 CC. I traded the Paret for 500 too!

Look in the rules, "All trades are final". 😱

I don't know what to do ☚ī¸ I thought both were worth the same! I would never scam a person @treva! I'm NOT KIDDING.

In my opinion the weighted rarity really does not mean all that much when compared to how much people want a given creature.

Example: the weighted rarity of a Nym is 21 while the Peeturk is only 9.. Everyone wants a Nym and people are paying a lot for them.. People are having trouble trading there peeturks however.

No matter what the weighted rarity of a creature is the actual value or rarity of a creature is always more clear when you think about what "people" actually want.

I personally would rather have a Storticai than a Paret. I have had Parets before but have always found it more difficult to find someone willing to trade me their Storticai.

Just my 2 cents. 😊

@treva
You need to cool down. I know @lazydazy411 , and she wouldn't trick a newbie. According to weighted rarity, Storts have a 12 and Parets have a 13, which means YOU got the rarer creature. And the difference is 1 POINT, which makes no difference at all. You need to get your facts straight before you upright accuse people of tricking you -_-

@wispa

Thank you for that. It's said that a Bragon would be worth 2 Tines if we referred to weighted rarity. O.O

I never knew he wanted my storticai because of the weighted rarity. And I don't think this topic is necessary either, considering that I traded the Paret away and because "All trades are final", according to the rules.

'The golden rule at Egg Cave is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." If you have a disagreement with somebody, discuss it via Mail.'
That is written in the forum rules. Treva, this is not the place to talk about that. Lazydazy does not seem to have known, and perhaps you two can trade back, but saying vicious things about a user on the forums is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. I'm sorry if this comes off as cruel, but calm down, please! Storts and pareteorsites are worth the EXACT SAME, they both come from the asteroid, it's just that pareteorsites are more popular.

It's all about how much people like them, not rarity.

@treva
@lazydazy411 has been my friend for quite a while now, and she would NEVER scam someone. And a Storticai DOES seem to be worth a Pareteorsite, what with them both having come from the Asteroid. If you liked your Pareteorsite, you shouldn't have traded it. If you like the Storticai better, then be happy! If you were only trading for worth, then let me tell you something: things with a rating over 100 are only common because lots of people have them. Rarity weighings are based on how many creatures are in existence. So a Crabbert, while seeming worth more than an Unhemn, isn't really worth more because it's just what you like between the two. A Crabbert is really more common than an Unhemn, but it seems the other way around because of their weighings. I've found Crabberts many times whereas I've only found an Unhemn once. So really there's no point in stealing or trading for worth, and it's just what you like. Hope this helped!

@treva I'm pretty sure they're the same rarity, more or less. Cool down. There's nothing wrong with trading a stort for a paret.
Also, like @lazydazy411 said, all trades are final.

@lazydazy411

You are welcome.

I agree with you, in that I also do not think that this topic was even necessary. All trades are final and people really need to think about what they are doing before they trade something away.

I do believe that this was a good trade for both sides and personally see no need for the complaint.

@zafeyry

Thank you. I'm glad to hear that someone does know that I wouldn't do such a thing. :]

@luv

Thank you :] I only traded with him because I wanted a Paret more. And I did think they were worth the same. I thought he wanted a Storticai because he told me that he wanted the fact that all 3 asteroid creatures were in his cove.

@treva
Actually, in my opinion they are worth about the same, and I doubt @lazydazy411 was 'scammimng' you. Even though the weighted rarity says Parets are worth more, that just goes by how many there are, not how much they're sought after. I'm sorry, but there's not much that can be done about this. As the rule suggests, all trades are final.

Yikes. Alright, it is advisable to discuss these sort of issues amongst yourselves through the Mail feature. It is not okay to call someone out publicly through a forum topic made for the very purpose. It only causes tension and drama.

Weighted Rarity probably isn't a fantastic way to gauge the value of a creature. It doesn't account for frozen eggs of retired creatures or anything else that may factor in the worth.

Storticai and Pareteorsites are essentially the same value. Swapping one for the other is most certainly a fair trade. Nobody has been scammed.

This topic will be locked to prevent further issues. Any further problems should be sent in via Ticket or through Mail.

Parets have a 13 and Storts have a 12 so I don't know why someone would complain about getting a Stort.

@treva I think they are worth the same and personally I would prefer the Alien Frog over a Tapeworm anyday. *Ick*

@Treva
I think you have been given enough proper reasons to cool down a little on the case scenario.

@whitefire

Aww, thank you so much. 😊 Seems like he's just referring to weighted rarity. As I said before, he told me that he wanted to state the fact that he had all 3 asteroid creatures in his cove, and that's why I thought he traded with me.

@wispa

Yup. ☚ī¸

@7731826

That is what I think too. But there really isn't any exact worth, it just matters how much you like them. I trade for creatures that I like! I think this thread should be locked. But I would like some replies from @treva, when he's online.
