"I got a promotion," I said breezily, then turned serious. "The admin has my Deino. The male one with the blond hair and icy eyes. The admin, not my Deino. I'm going to get my Deino back. First. As in, before the rest." I paused, slightly confused and breathless.

"An Admin has my Charizard." Crystal sighed. "I actually saw him too, a looked alittle beat-up..."
Crystal looked at Lexa.
"If they're strong, they will last. Team Rocket members getting strong Pokemon is a gift, and they don't abusive them..... That much."

I emptied my pockets. You'd be surprised how many pokeballs a girl like me can hide on her person. "All empty, and from grunts," I said casually, "but I think I'm pretty good."

Crystal grinned. "I only have one." she smiled, and showed Lexa her empty pokeball.
Then a booming voice made Crystal flinch.

"Crystal, the BOSS wants to see you." the P.A. unit boomed.
Crystal took in a sharp intake of breath. She knew this was coming. But...this soon?
Umbreon growled. She didn't like the boss. Not one bit.

"Uh, what???" I said, shocked. "He's HERE? Now? And wants you??? What for????? And I needed you to distract my admin," I slumped. "Well... Good luck. Need anything?" I asked.

Crystal grinned, though it was hard to scream for help, and run.
"Of course he's here, it's one of the main sites.... and well for the other part, I have no idea... and as for your plan.... take Umbreon. She can confuse the Admin."
Umbreon looked at Crystal with a shocked look, and then yipped. "I won't let you go in there alone."
"Umbreon, go." she commanded strenly.

Then Crystal walked off.

Giovanni awaited for Crystal.
Then, the door opened, he spun around in his chair, expecting her.
It was Excutive Pluton.
"Sir, we just excuted Search Y."
"Was it succesful?" Giovanni asked, annoyed.
"Well, no..."
"Then get out of my office. I have an very important meeting..."
Excutive Pluton left.

Umbreon sadly watched Crystal walk off, intill she was out of sight.
Then, she straightened up, and looked expectantly at Lexa, fully set on following her Crystal's command to obey her.

Crystal was blindfolded for half the walk. No one but the Excutives knew where the Boss's office was.
They untied her blindfold, and pushed her into a room. Giovanni had he back turned to Crystal, and he was sitting in a chair, looking out a window, onto the Hideout.
/The office is atleast on the 2nd floor./ Crystal told herself mentally.
Giovanni spun himself around in the chair, and turned to Crystal, with a smile on his face.
The sun was setting, and it cast an eerie glow on half his face, making it so Crystal didn't see his face clearly.
"Welcome, Crystal." he said with a grin.
"Nice to see YOU again." Crystal replied though gritted teeth.

"Okay," I said, relieved. Once a fellow researcher had left me to take care of her Graveler. It had been an utter NIGHTMARE; it wouldn't listen to a word I said. My gift apparently only extends to Dragon pokemon, I thought with a smile. And maybe flying too, I added as a beady-eyed Starly peeked through the small window at me. Dragonite was both. I remembered dreamily the day I was given my Dragon Egg. It was the same day as Lance got his, I recalled.
Then I slammed back to earth when Dratini bit my hand, annoyed at my inattentiveness. "Ouch!" I exclaimed.
"Right. The plan is simple. Umreon will distract the admin while me and Dratini pinch Deino," I reminded them. "He can't punish me because he was meant to give me him anyway. Let's go."

Umbreon nodded, and followed Lexa.

"So, finally warmed up to Team Rocket, Crystal?" Giovanni asked, smiling.
"Well, it's either that or die, right?" Crystal replied.
"You know I would NEVER do that to you."
"You've done it before."
"Yes, but it how was it different??"
"They weren't my last hope." Giovanni answered, almost yelling.
"What about Silver?" (Read the manga XD)
"He never liked me."
"Guess it's common with people who know you, am I right?"
Giovanni laughed. "I called you in here because your overall work was great. Keep it up... And you can get back your Pokemon in no time."
Crystal just stared at Giovanni, her eyes filled with hate.
"Nice glare you have there. Keep it up. You need hate for the line of buiness you're going into." Giovanni smilied.
"Now Daugther, get out of my sight."

"Um, confuse ray, right?" I asked Umbreon, unsure, and pointed at the admin who was just around the corner, finished telling off some new recruits and starting to walk away. I wished I had Altaria, who had Sing. Umbreon was great and all, but wasn't MINE. I sighed.

Umbreon smilied, and shot the Admin with a Confuse ray, making him collapse.

Crystal was blindfolded, and ushered out of the Office, intill she was dropped off at her room. She took Raichu out of his Pokeball, fed him some leftover table scraps, and enjoyed her time alone.

"Wow, that was a powerful one!" I exclaimed, and frowned. "I didn't know it could knock you out! Niiice," I told Umbreon appreciatively. That made everything even easier. I took Deino, delighted, and sent him out immediately. He practically ran me over with the force of a magnet train, and licked me all over. "Easy boy!" I gasped, relieved he was okay. "We need to get out."

I ruffled Deino's fluff as we jogged back, Dratini looked slightly annoyed at him for stealing half my attention. I brushed against something hard. "Oh... You still have your everstone! I bet they thought you were useless because you didn't evolve!" I laughed. "Are you ready for an evolution, Deino?" I asked as we reached my room, and let Umbreon go. We could use the power.
He butted his head against my leg, which was his way of saying yes. I smiled and took the stone from him, slipping it into my pocket.

Nogar ran to the hole in the wall (not the show where people try to get through holes in walls and if they don't make it they fall into a pool of water) and looked at the pokeball Akira had given her

She sat by Crystal, who was playing and grooming Rai-Rai.
Crystal petted Umbreon, and thought about what happened.
They trusted her, atleast.

At night I snuck out for a little training. When I presented Deino to her I wanted him to be a Zweilous. So I needed to get him up one level then give back the everstone before he started on a SECOND evolution. He wasn't ready for that one. Of course, Dratini came too. She NEVER leaves my arms, except for battles. She's only a baby... I regretted bringing her here, which reminded me of Crystal and Rai-Rai.
I returned with Deino having a second head and literally fell into my bed, asleep.

The scincetists smiled, as they relocated the locator they had discovered on the Pokeball.

That night, Crystal had a dream.
A faded shilotte talked to her.
"Crystal.. i'm okay."it called out.

Crystal knew it was Gardevior, telpathically comminutcating with her. But, when it's that weak....
Crystal shuttered. She needed to work, fast.

My sleep was now laden with nightmares, Dragonite being restrained with ropes and chains, Dragonite in a tiny cell, Dragonite being tested on, Dragonite being bullied by Team Rocket's mysterious boss, Dragonite injured and crying for help, Dragonite dying..... I couldn't sleep at all in the end, and just lay awake in bed, staring at the ceiling and listening to Zweilous's two heads snoring loudly.

Crystal woke up early, got dressed in her uniform, and got ready to betray everything she knew was right.
She snuck out of her room, and, with Umbreon by her side, reported in her findings to an Admin.

*A While Later.*

Crystal gently knocked on Lexa's door. About ten guards were hiddened behind her, ready for a signal.

Umbreon walked in to, and eyed Zwelious.
"I just wanted to see how the locator project was working." Crystal said, smiling.
"I also see you stole Denio back." she laughed.

"I don't know," I said. "Ask yourself!" I laughed, and ruffled Zweilous. "I merely relieved that admin of an extra pokemon that wasn't his. It doesn't count if you cheat a cheater," I looked at her through my eyelashes. "Why would it if I stole from a stealer? Anyway, don't say that, I've got a reputation to uphold. Zweilous now," I added.
