"That's all we need." a voice rang in Crystal's ear.
"Great. Umbreon?" Crystal grinned.
Umbreon shot a Confuse Ray at Zweilious, and then turned to Dranti, and did the same.

Dratini shook it off, still confused however, but Zweilous fell straight asleep.
I saw it coming, but made no attempt to fight. "Mind telling me why you are attacking my pokemon?" I asked coldly. I wasn't worried, or scared, or confused. I was angry.

"Because you betrayed Team Rocket, dear." Crystal replied in a sweetly sickening voice.
"Move in." she said into a hidden mircophone. The grunts filed into the room, ready for action.
An Admin smiled. "Great job Crystal. Your plan of befriending this girl to prove her disloyalty was brillient. Now where is the computer you told us about?"
"Under her bed." Crystal replied.
The grunts searched, and pulled out the Computer used to locate the pokeball.
"I knew she was disloyal, and she thought up this plan, I was in on it. Just to prove her disloyalty, though." Crystal explained.

"How did I betray team rocket? You have no proof," I crossed my arms. "What's so special about that pokeball? A spare may have dropped under the bed, yes." I said arrogantly. "Caviardo."

@smilies - The computer that was in Crystal's room. That what Crystal hid under Lexa's bed, to frame her.

The Admin smirked. "Either way, you stole your Denio back. If the Admin didn't want to give it you back, it was his choice. Now, Mrs. Lexa, we need you for some "Questioning." And you won't need your Pokemon where you're going."

"I don't deny it. Is it really so awful?" I threw my hands up tragically. "Then someone should have told me! Well, question me all you like. That admin got what he deserved, anyway, I would have failed if she hadn't lent me her Umbreon," I lied. "This whole place is about stealing. I thought you were encouraging it." Oh, I have SO many arguments up my sleeve... Anyway, it didn't matter. I'd said the word. Jacie knew. I was safe.

"I only lent you Umbreon so she COULD make sure you failed. But she's so stupid, she couldn't handle that order." Crystal growled.
Umbreon looked sad, but Crystal could tell she was close to laughing. But she felt bad for calling Umbreon stupid. She promised herself she could make up for it later.
The Admin didn't know how she treated her Pokemon. So she was safe there.
The Admin took back Lexa's Pokeballs, recalled her Pokemon, and handed the Pokeballs to Crystal.
"I trust you to handle these. And i'll certainly tell your father about your change of heart." the Admin smiled. "Guards, take Lexa to cell block D." he commanded.

I looked at Crystal measuringly. I knew she wasn't loyal to Team Rocket. I guessed she had decided to win their trust more by turning me in. I was so angry. So, so angry. But I remained calm. I had plenty of aces left. "I don't think so. Is a cell REALLY necessary?" I asked, irritated.
"Stay close," I begged out loud. "I need you!" They wouldn't know who I was talking to.

Crystal shoved the Pokeballs on her belt. They weren't hers... but she saw how Lexa glared at her.
Crystal grinned. She needed that anger. Which is why the plan wasn't revealed to her.
Raw emotion, not faked, was the best convincer.
/ She probley thinks i've sold her out./ Crystal thought. /Well, I did./

The grunts led Lexa to a cell. They threw her in it, and locked the doors, laughing. Then they left.

A few minutes later, a box came to Crystal. It read, "From Father."
Crystal would have burned it in disgust, but knew what it held.
A single Pokeball.
No, A pink painted Pokeball, with swirls.
Gardenvior.

I laughed too when they left. Oh, they thought I was all alone. How wrong they were. I had Lance coming, yes. But more immediately, I had....
That's right.
The pokemon slipped through the bars, and I greeted it with a grin.

Crystal sighed." Gardevoir.... Those tests were hard on you." she told her friend.
Gardevior was sleeping in her pokeball.
Crystal looked up. Oh, she remembered now. They should be taking Lexa her food about now...
A bowl of rice, a cup of greens, and a piece of moldy bread.
But in that bowl of rice is something hidden.
A Pokeball, with a note attached that reads, "I trust you enough to use this when the time is RIGHT."
Crystal just hoped she will get the message...

(A grunt can deliver her food now, and no, I won't tell you whats in the Pokeball intill your charrie LOOKS XD.)

I looked with deep irritation at the food brought to me. I watched Mew eating the poketreats I'd given her and thought they looked a lot more tasty. I decided I better eat to keep my energy up though, but not touch the moldy bread. I ate rice slowly, chewing and swallowing like every morsel pained me. I was glad I did though, when I uncovered a pokeball and a note. I ripped the later open and read it with distaste. No way. I knew it was from Crystal. I don't care how she excused her betrayal. She had RUINED MY OPPERATION, TAKEN MY POKEMON, made me PULL LANCE INTO THIS, DUMPED ME IN PRISON. She'd lost my trust. PERMANENTLY. Most of all, she didn't trust ME enough to tell me what she was planning. I won't play her game," I thought grimly, screwed up the note and swallowed it.
Now, what was in the pokeball....?

@taffy789 It can't be one of hers, because she'd recognize it 😋

Then, the Pokeball shook, and out popped.....
A cute electric mouse.
A blindfolded (It's orange XD) Raichu looked around absent-mindedly.
It sniffed out the food, and choose the moldy bread.
As it chewed,a sour look came upon it's face, and it spat the bread out. Then, it sniffed Lexa thoughtfully, and poked Mew.
Rai-Rai then danced around the jail cell, happy and obilvious to everything around him.

"Sir,.. Search Q failed also.." Pluton reported to Giovanni.
"WHAT?!? That's impossible...." Giovanni growled, then stopped and thought for a moment.
"Bring me that researcher.... She's going to tell us where Mew is, or that Dragonite of her's might have to be thrown out with tomerrow's trash....."

I gasped. I knew how much Rai-Rai meant to Crystal. But then, so had Umbreon.... Still, I can't blame Crystal's faults on her pokemon. I gave him some poketreats then returned him, just in case a guard came to check on me.

Rai-Rai gleefully ate the Pokeblocks. Much better than the bread. He returned to his Pokeball, and napped.

Two Admins trotted down the stairs. "The BOSS wants to see you, Lexa." they called out, laughing.

Crystal hoped that Lexa would remember what she told her about Rai-Rai..... His sucess could be a key part in the mission, but.....
Crystal loved his innocence. His everlasting happiness. She knew it was because he was showered with real love now, not fake.
And the fact he evoled on false terms. He was still a Pichu, at heart, at least.
Yes, he was a Pichu with the power of a 10,000 watt electrical wire.....

The two Admins grabbed Lexa, blindfolded her, and dragged her to the Boss's Office.
They unblindfolded her, and pushed her into the Office.
(Just trying to hurry it along XD)
"Sit, Lexa." Giovanni asked calmly, sitting in his own chair across a desk.

*Absol said work is fine, and is worring about Umbreon and you. He's in labor, cutting trees.
Kubutops is being researched, as he is a fossil. Perfectly fine, but he wants to slice the scietists up.
Charizard is with the Admin. He's fine.
Dragonite says she's in flying Pokemon capture. She was struck by lighting, but is recovering fast.*
Crystal smiled as she listened to Gardevior telapathically cominicate to her teamates. She knew Gardevoir, being the densesive wise weakest, would tire out first, getting sent to Crystal first.
That was a big mistake. Gardevior knew where the lab was, the Pokeball place, and everywhere else she was taken too.
This was going easier than Crystal thought.

"So, Lexa.. Let's get straight to the chase. You have infomation about the whereabouts of Mew. We have you, and your Pokemon. Tell us where Mew is, or i'll make sure your Pokemon each die in the bloodiest, most horrible way imaginable. And you will watch. Your info, for your Pokemon? Deal?" Giovanni smiled.

Crystal realized something.
*Wait, ask Dragonite why she got struck by lighting???* Crystal asked Gardevior.
After a few minutes, a reply came.
*They were flying after some thunder clouds..*
"Zapdos!" Crystal exclaimed, in horror.
"That power hungray *Enter cuss words here* fool!" Crystal shouted.
The legendary Pokemon are what they were after. You would think after Mewtwo....They would stop that foolishness. But they can't control it, they can't....

"It's bright pink, genderless, loves sugar cubes and candy canes, hates old ugly men, has the ability Synchronize, travels all over the world but mostly sighted in supposed 'haunted' forests and ruins and such like, can learn every move, which is why some believe it to be the ancestor of pokemon, psychic, not very large..." I chattered on about Mew.
