Hydre hissed and let out a weak dragon pulse, with only enough power to sting, but to express his feelings, and flipped to fly straight up, coming back down right beside Lance like a bullet. "Return." Lance returned Hydre to his ball and jumped of Drey, his cape flying back behind him until he landed.

Charizard flew in the direction of where the Hydreigon went.
Then, she saw the trainer.
"I'm sorry, Charizard is protective."Crystal called out.
To prove his point, and since he was still mad at Crystal for doing a stupid stunt like that, he flung her to the ground.
"Ow." Crystal said again, laying on the ground.
Charizard laughed.

"That's fine," Lance said mildly. "I've had a lot worse, dealing with dragons." He had a nice collection of scars to prove it up his right arm. Drey fanned her wings surreptitiously.

"Yeah?" Lance said, trying to count how many near-death situations he'd had that involved falling. "you get used to it," he said finally, as Viva came and perched on his shoulder.
"Oh." He stared at the pokeballs, then without looking away, he returned Shelly.

"Well, actually, i've done this plenty of times. I would've thought of some clever way out of it." Crystal laughed, and got up.
Crystal stared at the Viabreta. Didn't someone she know have one of those?
It was on the tip of her tounge. But probley not important.
Crystal turned to Charizard. "Thank you. Return." she said, and Charizard went into his Pokeball.
Crystal called out Dragonite.
The large dragon imdentialy laid on the ground, injured.
"Paralyzaed." Crystal muttered. Then Crystal gasped. A large hole was in her wing, blood around it.
"Zapdos tore you, didn't it/" Crystal asked Dragonite.
Dragonite nodded yes, in pain.

"There's a pokemon center not far west from here. Say ten minutes flight," Lance said, still staring at the luxury balls, the kind Lexa always uses. Hesitantly, he picked one up and released it, closing his eyes and praying it wasn't...
Starstorm.
Lea's prized pokemon, a shiny Dragonite raised from an egg, hatched on the same say as Drey.
Lance let out his breath slowly and returned him, knowing Starstorm wouldn't listen to him.

"A Dragonite... and a Luxury ball..." Crystal shook the thought out of her head.
"Just tell that Dragonite to go get help, I WON'T move Dragonite in her condition." Crystal said.
"Kubutops, get water, Umbreon, put Dragonite to sleep, Absol, stand by." Crystal said, throwing out her pokemon.
Umbreon and the rest had been watching though their Pokeballs. Umbreon quickly put Dragonite to sleep using her powerful confuse ray, and Kubutops cleaned out the cut with water.

Lance shook himself out of his spell and threw out some pokemon. "Drey, Ecruteak city, pokemon center, help. Hydre, go with him. Horsea, help Kabutops. I don't know how any of my others can help," Lance said. "Wish I'd brought Blissey." He returned Viva and looked at the rest. Dragonair wasn't there. Something had gone wrong, badly wrong. He'd have to go soon.
Dratini must be unhappy in her pokeball, he thought, and released her. She snuggled up against him and went to sleep.

@smilies - She never saw it was Shiny, and Lexa never told her it WAS shiny. XD
A clingy Drantini. "Are you a Rocket Grunt, I recongize that Drantini anywhere!" Crystal stared at Lance accuslingly.
Gradevior came out of her Pokeball and check out Dragonite.
*The best thing we can do at the time is burn the wound shut. But it will be painful. I don't know how the stitch...* Gardevior said sadly.
Crystal looked at Dragonite in horror. "It's just a wound... If a nurse Joy comes..."

"Do I LOOK like a team rocket grunt?" Lance demanded. Just then Drey and Hydre flew in with Nurse Joy. (Lolza- because I can)

Joy looked at Dragonite. "What happen?" she demanded.
"Fight with a tough wild Pokemon." Crystal replied.
Joy opened her first aid kit. "I'll clean it, and stitch it up." she said. "A little space, please."
As the Chanseys ran around, sedating Dragonite, Crystal backed away.
Joy did her healing thing.

Lance got out his pokefood from his packs (mostly filled with different capes) and sent out all his and Lexa's pokemon and fed them.
Drey.
Hydre.
Ry, his Gyarados.
Xoru, his Haxorus.
Shelly.
Gabby, his Gabite.
His new shiny Horsea.
And Lexa's.
Starstorm.
Altaria.
Viva.
Zweilous. He hadn't met him evolved.
Dratini.

Joy smiled as she finished stitching up Dragonite. "She'll be fine, Crystal, just don't let her fly for awhile."
Then Crystal got Charizard to give her a lift back.

"So, why do you have Lexa's Pokemon??" Crystal questioned lance.

Lance looked down at her and laughed. "Really? I don't think you are so helpless. Don't think I care about that crud," he waved the rocket stuff aside. "The sooner we get rid of them the better. But if they got Lexa... Where would they take her?"

Lance looked up at the sky. How long did he have...? "Fine," he said, and got off Drey, returning her, then sauntered past into the caves to train up his new Horsea.

"Cool, we'll head out tomerrow." Crystal said.
"Okay guys!" she said cheerfully, turning to her Pokemon. "Dragonites' hurt, and we should make her some soup. And we know what to do!"

Gardevior smiled, and went to keep Dragonite company. Crystal also sent out Rai-Rai to help with this job.
Absol and Umbreon went into the woods to search for berries.
Kubutops got the water, and started to boil it over Charizard's tail.

Lance decided to nickname her Cece. They trained for a few hours, then Lance went outside and lied on his back, looking up at the stars, with Drey for company.

Kubutops caught fish while he was at it.
The berries where added to the pot, and made into healthy berrie soup, which was served to dragonite.
Then, they found some leeks, and threw the fish in the pots, making fish soup.

Rai-Rai danced over to Lance, and offered him a roasted fish.
Crystal ate with her Pokemon, but they talked though out the entire meal, using Gardevior's telapathy. They laughed, and yelled at Crystal for doing something as stupid as jumping off of Charizard, when she could've just FLEW down and recalled Dragonite.

Lance shook his head: he wasn't hungry.
Some of his younger pokemon, Shelly, Gabby and Cece, got too curious about the other pokemon and went to check them out.
Drey stayed by her trainer, she was worried about him.
Hydre was seriously annoyed about that Charizard, and moped in the caves.
Ry stayed in his pokeball: it was too dry for him.
Xoru went to sleep.

Rai-Rai shoved the fish at Lance's face.
Charizard glared angerily at the other Pokemon, but Gardevior chewed him out. And had to stop Kubutops from slicing them.
Umbreon and Gardevior warmly welcomed the Pokemon.
