Ria looked up at Sirius, and whispered. "Demine always means well," hoping he would know what she meant, and would know what to do. She whispered it so quietly that only Sirius would ever hear it.

Sirius laid down next to Ria and gently pressed his pelt against her's to make sure she stayed warm while she sat on the freezing cold floor. He then looked up at Demine slowly and managed to say, "I-I didn't mean for any of this to happen, I made sure that that boar didn't hurt Ria anymore, so I guess you could say I saved her, but that doesn't make up for the fact that I led her into danger in the first place. Just please, if you're going to be mad at me, can you be mad at me later, right now our attention needs to be focused on Ria, not anything else."

Cinder came back in and he gently place Ria's leg between two sticks, he then began to make her a splint by wrapping the strong leaves around the sticks and tying it into place with a cattail.

Ria let Cinder do what he was doing.

Demine looked at Sirius closely.
Ria was right, he thought.
"I'm not angry at you," Demine told him as he lay down. "I understand now; although, I probably will be angry at you later." He chuckled, and then Ria shoved him.

Cinder workers quickly, ignored everything around him except for binding Ria's leg. He finally finished and he said, "Ok, now I need to know where the tendon tore in your back, tell me when I for touch a spot on your back that hurts a lot." He said and he slowly began touching certain spots on her spine with his paw, waiting for her to tell him when he was hurting her.

Sirius nodded slowly and he laid his head down on his paws , waiting for Cinder to finish. I've been wrong this whole time, I guess Demine never suspected that I had once been a murderer after all, he was just being overly protective, Sirius thought to himself.

"Ouch!" Ria finally said at one of the spots he touched.

Demine smiled at Sirius.

Cinder nodded, "Ok, I'll be right back with supplies, don't move a muscle or you might become paralyzed, it's amazing you can still move after such a wound." He said, he then shot off to get supplies.

Sirius smiled back and then turned back to Ria.

Cinder came back with ice he had found in the stream, as it sometimes froze over. He then gently rested the ice on Ria's back and he rushed off again. He then found several decent sized rocks and he set them out so that they would become hot.

Sirius licked her nose and laid his head down next to her's, "Everything is going to be fine soon." He promised, smiling at her.

Ria jumped at the sudden cold when Cinder put the ice on her back. "S-so cold..." She murmured as Demine widened his eyes, worried.
Ria didn't object to Cinder since she knew he knew what he was doing. "W-what if I can't walk again?" She asked quietly. She didn't want to give Demine more to worry about. She rested her head next to his.

Demine looked at the two canines.
They look... So... cute together, Demine thought as he laughed a bit to himself.

After several minutes, Cinder walked back over with the rocks, he removed the ice and put the very hot rocks on her back. He then stepped back and watched.

Sirius smiled at her, trying to comfort her. "It'll all be over in a few, Cinder's knows what he's doing and this will help your back a whole lot."

Ria couldn't even feel the hot rocks as Cinder put them on her back. Ria nodded at Sirius. "Okay, I believe in you."

For the next twenty minutes or so, Cinder switched back and forth from placing the ice to the hot rocks on Ria's back. He finally removed the hot rocks and he picked up several tough pieces of long grass and he tied them around where Ria's back was hurting. He tied them tightly, "These will help support your back so that you can walk a but, but don't walk unless its necessary, you could still hurt yourself if you walk to much."

Ria nodded to Cinder. "I can't believe I was running when my back legs were broken.." Ria said, "or did my back legs get broken since I was running?" She asked, thinking that it was her fault she was messed up.

Cinder thought for a moment before answering, "I believe your legs were already broken, but running made then worse. Though it's a good thing you ran or you might be lying out in the forest without anyone right now."

Sirius smiled and licked her cheek, "You are probably really tired, so get some sleep, okay?" He asked her, lifting his head so that he could look her in the eyes.

"...Okay." Ria murmured. She looked up at Demine. "Don't attack Sirius while I'm asleep." She said.

Demine nodded. "We've already decided to focus on you for now." He said. "I won't attack Sirius, now go to sleep."

Ria looked up at Sirius while realizing how tired she was. She closed her eyes and fell asleep, her breathing getting slower and gentler.

Sirius smiled as she fell asleep. He glanced at Demine for a moment before he turned back to Ria. He sat up slightly, feeling that he needed to watch over her as she slept. He looked outside, watching the trees in the distance.

Demine looked at Sirius, and then looked outside as well, wondering if Sirius had saw something.
"You know," Demine started, "I never hated you. But it's hard to trust anyone when your entire life the wolves you've trusted the most have turned against you." His gaze stayed on the outside.

Sirius nodded, "I can understand that, it's just..." He quickly stopped and glanced at Ria, who slept on. He just shook his head and noticed that Cinder was glaring at him. He realized that he had almost told his and Cinder's secret.

Demine raised an eyebrow.
He said something he wasn't supposed to say... Demine thought.
Demine couldn't help it- he needed to know what was going on.
But Demine just looked at Cinder. "So Ria's going to be all right?"

Cinder tore his gaze from Sirius and lokked at Demine, "Her injuries weren't as bad as I had first thought, she can start walking soon, but she still has to be careful for a well or two, her back needs time to heal. Though she should stay idle for a day or two, so her legs and back can begin mending."

Ria woke up to see all the wolves around her. She tried to stand up, but her back and legs still hurt. She groaned quietly and stayed laid down. She looked outside.

Sirius woke up and said, "Don't move, you don't want to strain yourself." He said gently, smiling at her as he spoke.
