Time to see what's going on with the barrier, Ria thought.

Sirius kept running, his pace increasing with every step he took. When the overwhelming scent of dirt and boar entered his nose he came to a halt. He kept himself from sneezing as the smell tingled the inside of his nose. He turned and waited for Ria to join him. He was panting, the amount of energy he had spent running had taken quite a bit out of him, especially considering his shoulder still hurt.

Sirius was out running Ria as Ria noticed him going faster and faster. Ria fought to keep up, but she couldn't. When she finally caught up to Sirius, she sat down and was gasping for breath. She looked up at Sirius. "Ar-are the boars' here?" She said, looking around.

Sirius smiled at Ria as he watched her gasp for breath, "I could help you run faster, that is if you would want me too." He added quickly, not meaning that she was slow. He then nodded, "Yep, the boars are close, can't you smell them?"

Ria perked her ears up as Sirius said that. "That would be great, thank you." She said, smiling. She knew that he wasn't saying she was slow. Ria nodded as she caught her breath. "Yeah, I do. I'm ready when you are."

Sirius smiled, "Great." He said as she agreed to his proposition, he then focused on the task at hand. "Ok, you cause a distraction and I'll sneak up behind the boars and attack them. Then they will chase after me and I'll lead them to the border. You'll stay behind the boat that's chasing me and make sure it keeps chasing me, ok?" He asked, he wanted to be sure she was ok with the plan.

Ria nodded. "How should I distract them?" She asked. "Go over there-" She pointed with her tail to the other side of the boars, "- and just start making noises?"

Sirius nodded, "That should work, the boars will hear you and turn there attention towards you. Then I'll sneak up and attack them." He said and then asked her, "Are you ready?"

Ria nodded. "Okay, then that's what I'll do. Yes, I'm ready. Let's do this." She licked his ear. "Goodluck." She said as she silently went around the boars, making sure they couldn't hear her. As she was on the other side, she rubbed her paws along the floor of the forest to make a rustling noise.

Sirius blushed as Ria licked his ear and he waited for her distraction. He watched as the boars looked up, staring towards where Ria stood, making the noise. He stowly began to creep forward, careful not to make a sound.

Ria got a bit nervous as all the boars walked toward her.
So many of them... She thought.
Ria's imagination was getting to her as she thought they could possibly all gang up on her and attack.
She shook her head and kept making the noise.
I can't fail Sirius, Ria told herself.

Sirius sprung into action as the boars got close to Ria. He tackled one of them and bit it hard. It squealed in pain and Sirius hopped off it. He began to run towards his home, be was being trailed closely by two boars. What he didn't notice, however, was the last boar was standing behind Ria, ready to charge.

Ria was glad to see Sirius leading all the boars off. She sighed in relief and as she was about to run behind the herd of boars, a boar charged at her from behind, hurting her back legs. She clawed at it and bit it.
I don't have time for this! Ria's mind shouted as she raced behind the herd to keep all the boars together. The boar kept on chasing her as her back left leg hurt.

Sirius, not realizing that Zia was being attacked, picked up the speed a bit so that he was sure that the board wouldn't catch up to them. He knew that his home was close, Only a minute or two and I'll be inside." He told himself and kept running, hoping he wouldn't stumble all of a sudden, as he sometimes did, that would be bad.

Also, do foxes bark? Meow?

Ria tried to pick up the pace, but she couldn't. The boar had injuried her back legs, and she shouldn't have been running at all. She barked at the boars that tried running off, but she kept up good enough.

@froggytails XD I looked it up online. 😸 But I do know that foxes bark as they are part of the gaining family. 😊

Sirius finally raced into his home. He skidded to a halt and spun around to see if the boars would be able to get trough the barrier. He knew Ria was behind them, and he hoped she was ok.

Ria kept on running until she saw Sirius had stopped. She skidded to a halt and jumped to the side as all the boars ran into the barrier.
The boar that was behind Ria was still charging at her, and ran into her, hitting her right side.
Ria shrieked in pain as she fell. She flexed her claws and clawed at the creature's eyes.

Sirius heard Ria shriek and he raced forward. "Ria!" He yelled, running up to her. He saw the boar standing not to far away. Sirius growled at it and launched himself at it. He fought with the dirty animal for several minutes before he finally maged to beat it, it wasn't dead, but it instead an away. Sirius ironed back to Ria and he nudged her, "Ria I'm so sorry. This is all my fault, if I hadn't suggested that stupid plan then you wouldn't be hurt right now." He said, nosing her gently. "I'll take carry you back to my home an Cinder can help you, he's great with injuries and sickness, then I'll fetch Demine, he needs to know what happened. Is that all ok?" He whispered to her.

Ria struggled to stand up and looked up at Sirius. She felt so special. Sirius was so worried about her; he really cared. Ria smiled. "Yes, that sounds fine, and don't worry- it isn't your fault at all. You're not what sent the boar after me. Your plan was brilliant- look at the barrier." She said, pointing to what all the boars had crashed through.

Sirius stared at the place the boars were entering his home through. He then glanced back at Zia, "They'll leave soon, they are all there and they'll notice and go in search of the one that ran away." He said and then he gently leaned down and said, "Get on my back, this way you don't need to strain yourself by walking." He suggested to her.

Sirius then snuck around to the other side of the barrier and he rushed in. He hurried into the cave and gently laid Ria down. He then called out, "Cinder!"

His brother trotted over, "Yes?" He asked, immediately noticing the look of distress on Sirius' face.

"Ria's hurt, you've got to help her! I'm about to go get Demine!" Sirius said and then he spun around and raced back through the border and headed towards where Ria and Demine's home was. He raced in, "Demine, you've got to hurry, Ria is hurt!"

Cinder raced off to see how bad Ria was hurt, he had to know that before he could help her.

Ria lay sprawled out on the forest floor where Sirius put her, her side and back legs aching.

Demine gasped, his eyes widening. "What?! Lead the way!" He demanded.
...Er... I knew I shouldn't have let Ria hang out with Sirius.. He thought.

Cinder rushed over and asked Ria gently, "Now tell me, where does it hurt?" He asked her, gently touching each part of her leg, searching for signs of broken bones.

Sirius nodded and he faced off in the direction of his home. As he was about to enter his home and called out, "Demine may enter!" He then raced over the barrier and headed to his cave where Ria and Cinder were.

Ria looked up. "My right side and my back legs hurt..."

Demine raced next to Sirius and to Ria. "Ria!" He almost screeched as he saw her. "Are you alright?" He called from where they were.

Ria looked at Demine and smiled. "I'm fine." She said, hardly loud enough for them to hear.

Cinder nodded and put a bit of pressure on her hindlegs, "Does that hurt?" He asked, his laws moving over where she had said it hurt, checking for signs of broken bones, stretched tendons, etc. His movements were precise and quick so that he was sure his paw didn't rest on her hindlegs, he didn't want to cause her to feel anymore pain then she needed too.

Sirius raced over and rested his muzzle on her cheek, "You're obviously not find, how are you feeling, really?" He asked softly, "I should have never allowed you to get hurt by that boar, this is all my fault."

"Ouch! Yes.." Ria said as he put pressure on her hindlegs. She turned her eyes to rest on Sirius. She finally let her eyes expose all the pain she felt.
Ria whined a little. "My hind legs burn, and my right side aches! It feels like something threw me into a tree.."

Demine followed Sirius over to Ria and growled a low growl. "You were messing around with boars, Ria?" He said, although it was obvious that he was worried sick. He walked over to her and licked her forehead. "You'll be okay," he said, in a much more comforting tone.

Cinder nodded, "I think your left leg is broken and you tore a muscle in your back. Now don't move, you don't want to hurt yourself more, I'll be back and I'll bind your leg, then I'll start on your back." He said, he then rushed off to get supplies.

Sirius looked at Demine, "Don't get mad at Ria, it's all my fault that she got hurt. I came up with a plan and it backfired, on her." He said, glancing at the ground. He then turned to Ria and licked her ears gently, hoping to comfort her do she would be in as much pain.

Ria nodded at Cinder, scared that her back leg was broken.
Will I be able to walk again on it...? She thought, a shiver going down her spine.
She looked up at Demine. "Sirius didn't mean to hurt me, it was an accident- don't be mad." She said, knowing that he was just about to accuse him. "If it wasn't for Sirius, I would be dead from the boar."

Demine looked at Sirius. "You... you really didn't mean for any of this to happen- and- you saved Ria?" He asked in a soft tone. He didn't want to upset Ria, and he needed Sirius to look at him. He needed to see that Sirius wasn't hollow inside.

Cinder trotted back over with giant plant leaves that he planed to use to help bind the leg, he then hurried off to get a few sticks to help support her leg.

Sirius gulped, the last he had been in a similar situation Sirius had freaked and run, could Sirius face Demine now. He stares at Ria and gently nosed her. His body was shaking slightly, What if Demine starts accusing me again, what can I do then? Can I really stand up to him?
