Children of the Elements ~ Roleplay

The elements are not just simple tools we use in everyday life. They are more than that, and there are 14 children that are born from the elements themselves. They were made to weave their element with as much skill as the gods themselves. It is an amazing gift, but where there is a gift, there is always a curse. Those children will never find happiness and love. They are beginnings with no ends, stories withouht a plot, humans withouht life. Everywhere they go they will only cause destruction, but there is a way to stop it all. Because there is always hope in destruction, love that comes with hate, as well as smiles that come with tears. Here is the story of how they fought to overcome it all.

4) You are not allowed to post your form here unless you are accepted. To be accepted, you must post your form and a small example of your writing on the discussion board.

6) There are a limited amount of spots, so please only have one character, so it is fair to other joiners. If there is still un-taken places, you may create another character if you are deemed worth.

Darkness: These two children turn day into night, and light into dark. They have powers over the shadows of night, and have a way of manipulation and persuasion. Their personalities are much like darkness itself, for they are dark and mean. These children do not like the children of light. They can speak to owls and bats.

Light: These two children turn night into day, and dark into light. They have powers over light. Their personalities are much like light itself, nice and warm, but when provoked can be a searing heat. These children do not like the children of darkness.

Water: These two children have the ability to wield water with ease. They can create floods, rain storms and many water-like disasters. Their personalities range from calm and cool like a lake, to harsh and cruel like the stormy waves of an ocean. These children do not like the children of ice. They can speak to fish, dolphins and other water-animals. [Water birds do not count]

Ice: These two children have the ability to turn anything to ice. From regular ice, to dry ice. They can form massive blizzards and snowstorms. Their personalities are much like ice itself, it can be light and beautiful, as well as cold and heartless. These children do not like the children of fire. They can speak to Polar bears and other animals that live in cold places.

Earth: These two children have the ability to cause earthquakes and many other earth-invoking disasters. They love the nature, and their touch can heal any dying plants, and they can speak to animals that do not have wings. Their personality is quiet and loving. These children do not like the children of air, and have super strength.

Air: These two children have the ability to create winds, ranging from small breezes to hurricane-force winds. They can make tornadoes and hurricanes, and help with the formation of storms. These children do not like the children of earth. Their personalities are usually quiet and shy, but can snap at anytime. Another ability of theirs is super speed. They can speak to birds.

Fire: These two children can withstand extremely high temperatures. Their personalities are usually straight-out mean, and when angered, they have been known to cause volcanic eruptions. These children do not like the children of water.

Electricity: These two children have the ability to go beyond what any human can handle in terms of electricity. They can both conduct, and produce electrical shocks to others. Electricity children are rather bi-polar, and constantly help with the formation of thunder storms. These children do not like the children of earth.

Full Name: Aizel Kay Tylk
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Personality: Rude and unmannered, she is infamous of her short temper and fiery attitude. Her mind is irrational and most of her actions are selfish and indignant. Illogical thinking is her specialty, one might say, hence the numerous troubles that she tends to be involved in. Brute force is always first place for her in a fight, but never retreating. For a Fire Elemental, she can be quite childish, however, and often finds herself annoying the ones around her with constant complaints and whatnot. She is apparently not the best person to arue with, due to her tendency to throw fists if she loses an argument. One of the rare times that she would be afraid or freak out is when there is a life-and-death situation on her hands.
Appearance: Petite and slightly athletic, Aizel stands at a height of 5'3, usually being overtowered by everyone around her. Skin is tanned, a normal thing for Fire Elementals. Her eyes are a pitless inky black color and fit her shoulder lenght coal black hair. Bangs of the same color cover her forehead, cut into a straight line. Her clothing consists of a pair of black jeans or camo-pants and a beige top. She also never parts with her military boots, leather jacket and travel backpack. A pair of revolvers are firmly strapped to her hips and never leave her side.

History: Born in the season of cold winter, Aizel resided in the remaints of the village that was destroyed during her birth. While most were clad in warm clothes, she roamed the streets with a beige top, causing most to think her a witch. Needless to say, there came a time when her fiery temper was let loose, therefore, setting fire to most of the houses around. She had succeeded in murdering a few people as well. She took murder and lies as a normal fraction of every day life and learned to live with it. Once crimes had taken over her life, she made her living out of stealing and street fights. However, not once had she met someone of her kind and now, she roams the lands, in search of such.
Birth: Born of the fiery liqiud of a once dead volcano, Aizel's birth had caused a catastrophe, making it erupt and bring death to the citizens of a nearby village.
Crush: None for now.
Other: "Muisance". Her body radiates heat and warmth. One thing she loves more than her power, is food. She has a passionate hate for water and cannot swim whatsoever.

Personality: Araym is shy. She doesn't like to be in the front. She hates disasters. But when you make her angry, she gets very angry. She's not good at solving puzzles and stuff like that.
Appearance: Long silver hair that seems almost blue when it's dark. She has dark blue eyes. She always wears loose, wavy white shirts with short blue jeans.
Element: Water
History: Araym had tried to make a friend once, but that friend abandoned her. Araym had gotten very angry, and formed a hurricane. She had severely injured her friend. Araym couldn't believe what she had done. So she tries not to get too close to someone again.
Birth: During a typhoon, she washed up onto shore.

Araym walked along the shore of the beach she was born from. Her silver hair flew in front of her as wind blew by. She watched the waves lap toward her. It was if they were trying to grab her and take her in. Araym loves to swim, but she just wasn't in the mood. She didn't know what what it was, but it just seemed that something was horribly wrong. Araym couldn't stand the pit she felt in her stomach.

Full Name: Sylvia Ceste
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Personality: Sylvia is as cold as ice, and is rather mean as well. She is usually hiding in the shadows, where the children of darkness would normally belong. She is not shy, and can be rather loud and talkative, but only when she meets someone she is fond of.
Appearance: Sylvia has wavy black hair that reaches her elbows, and pale skin that cold be compared to snow. Her eyes are large and a deep, dark blue color, with lighter speckles of gray. She has long bangs that cover her left eye, and a smaller portion of her right. The bottom half centimeter of her hair is tinted a slight light blue-gray color.
Element: Ice
History: Sylvia was adopted once, but she ended up killing the people that had lived in her town, by causing a large snowstorm in the dead of night, that had buried many homes. Later on, she had decided it would be best to not meet any other people. She lives isolated from others, and finds that cold and ice comforts her more than heat and fire.
Birth: Sylvia was born during a harsh winter in the coldest place in Antarctica. She appeared from a body of water that had been frozen over, and her appearance called another large storm to brew, and it dragged out throughout the entire winter, and killed many people.

Age: 16

Personality: Hiding behind a mask of elegance and haunting beauty, he is cold and cunning. He cares not for humans and laughs at their misfortune. Mature for his age, he often has a drive to achieve anything he wants. A merciless fighter, he won't stop at anything to kills or take revenge on. He prefers speed/agility over brute strength. When faced with an option, he would flee rather than fight. He craves solitariness and does not mingle with humans, believing that he is superior. Abuses his power and has a habit of embedding razor sharp ice shards into his enemies. He is never fazed by other's feelings or comments towards him. He is scornful towards petty human emotions such as sorrow, guilt and excitement. He is sarcastic when he does have conversation. Breaking young female's hearts was a pastime for him.

Appearance: Silky grey hair with a fringe that hangs over and partially covers up his unnaturally pale blue eyes. Pale skin. Tall for his age with a medium build. He smiles frequently though devoid of any warmth. His teeth are a blinding white and are slightly serrated. Almost always wears white or pale clothes.

History: Arian lived in the ice until he found civilisation. The first human he met was a lost little girl of whom his extracted information from through torture. He continued in this manner with other humans until he was satisfied with knowledge. Now travelling through the outskirts of the city, he ignores any humans and never interacts with any other living being.

Birth: Appearing in the coldest regions of Antarctica, he tore his way out of the icy crust of the frozen ocean. When he first opened his mouth to cry, a massive blizzard swept over the country which lasted for several months.

Age: 14
Personality: Clever and a bit rambunctious at times, she's extremely smart and rather bi-polar depending on the situation. Mostly described as nervous-to-murderous, the small albino is jittery and silent, acting shy unless she actually wants to get to know a person
Appearance: Pixle is short for her age, standing at 5'3", she's rather small as well, thin and flat. The girl's pale white skin and bright red-pink eyes make her seem like a ghost. Pixle keeps her bleach white hair cut in a pixie and is always wearing a white sweater under a tan coudroy jacket and black jeans, her stand out features are her prosthetic right arm and left leg, as wel as the brace on her back that runs it all.

History: *tying in birth* Pixle appeared during one of the many lightning storms of the year, just outside the orphanage, she was taken in by a young boy who raised her at the home for 5 years, the day after he was adopted out, she stepped on a mine while doing a sweep she was forced into, the explosion destroyed her, but also rebuilt her, her ability to control electricity kept her alive by keeping her feeble heart beating. When she was found, she was quickly adopted out by an abusive rich figure. Traveling the world, something she loathed doing, the girl escaped at the age of 13 and found herself on the run up till now.

Full Name: Dannyx "nyx" Escalaid
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Personality: Shy and soft-spoken, he isnt as mean as he is supposed to be, usually harsh unintentionally, he can be a real softie though, despite his appearence
Appearance: Nyx is nothing next to short. Standing at 6'11" and extremely thin-as well as pale- He walks with a depressed aura to him. Nyx has apiked out black hair that often makes him look like he has a fluffy porquepine on his head. Tattoos cover his arms and sides, a large darkness symbol scared into his back, he has two black lines from his under eyes down to his jawline where they end in knifelike points, his ears are loaded with gauges and piercings, he has a nose ring and both snake bites and angel bites, he has a piercing on his eyebrow, and an odd one on the inside of his ear. Nyx's black eyes match his hair and he is always wearing a striped shirt, black waist coat, black jeans and black buckle-up white-split-toed boots.
Element: Darkness
History: *tying in birth* Nyx stepped out of the shadows of an old orphanage one day at age 9,having no childhood what-so-ever. He was discovered for what he was at the age of 11 and then taken into training until he escaped at age 16, knowing nothing but what he could do, barely how to speak and just enough to keep him passing as alive, Nyx tried to learn but just ended up hurting people, after that he stayed silent and shut-in, finding himself where he is now.

Gender: Female
Age: 15
Personality: Zahara is terribly shy and must often be coaxed out of her shell. However, she becomes outgoing and warm towards those she cares about. Her moods often fluctuate in the extremes-when she is angry, she is FURIOUS, but when she is happy, she lights up a room. She loves to read and write (especially poetry), and will keep a book with her at all times in order to prevent facing other people, for she is very awkward around people she doesn't know.
Appearance: Zahara is lithe and tall at a height of 5'7. She is the thin and gangly type, and doesn't have the curves that she thinks would look flattering. She has striking yellow eyes, which contrast her mass of straight, jet black hair (which she wears at a side part that can hide her face when necessary), and rosebud lips. She is prone to wearing nothing but black, as she feels this draws attention away from herself.

History: Zahara scavenged for food in the forests, until hunger and pain drove her to kill small animals for food and steal from nearby villages and families. It is in this way that she learned to love books, when she accidently grabbed a copy of Jane Eyre in a raid. She kept stealing books from that same house until the owner, an old, kind gentleman, gave her shelter. However, he was highly religious, and once he discovered what she could do, he proclaimed her an angel and brought her to the whole town's attention. She was overwhelmed by her newfound celebrity, so she ran away. In the forest, she stuck to the shadows in order to stay hidden. (@bunnyshadow hope this part is okay with you) Because the shadows offer her comfort, she does not want to hate darkness elementals, however she does because it is in her nature.
Birth: On the day that the sun was closest to earth, and in the spot where the sun's rays were most concentrated, Zahara sprung to life.

Personality: Although he is very talkative many people find his presence calming and enjoyable.A friendly smile can always be found on his face even when he is addressing his enemies.This makes it hard to decipher his true feeling towards a person.Still he is trust worthy and loyal to his friends and loved ones.He protects them bravely.
Appearance: His skin is a medium tone and his eyes are hazel.His short curly hair is a light blond color and appears well kept although he doesn't worry too much about his appearance.He wears a thick and warm brown jacket with a plain sleeveless white shirt under it,worn out denim pants and brown high sneakers.

History: He was raised by the employees of the power plant he was born in.Since he was able to fix many things and provide much help he was allowed to stay there for as long as he desired and in the end that turned out to be most of his life.
Birth: He was born in a rather 'settle' way in a power plant.There wasn't a specific event that triggered his creation, it was simply caused by the large amount of electric present in the location.

Gender: Female
Age: 16
Personality: Cunning and sly, Platina has no regard for the weak or helpless. She does not trust anybody but herself, and keeps everybody she knows on loose tabs. Although she may seem energetic, flirty and more than a little bit sarcastic, this is all just a mask used to cover up her true self. In a fight, she is agile and quick rather than strong and powerful, and will usually run away from fights at the first opportunity.
Appearance: Platina has queer silver-blue eyes, which, in her opinion, attract too much attention for her line of work. She usually wears brown contacts to cover them up. Her skin is pale, and her hair is straight, shoulder-length and pitch-black. Platina usually wears dark blue jeans, a blue or brown hoodie and knee-length black Converse. Sometimes, if she manages to get her hands on hairspray, she will change her hair's colour in order to keep her identity hidden.
Element: Darkness
History: Platina has lived in dark, dangerous alleyways for most of her life, surviving on the goods that she pilfers. She has no friends, no family, and is careful not to get into any relationships. There were some days where Platina did not eat or drink at all, but she has quickly learned to utilize her powers so she never goes hungry. No matter what, Platina will never give up her will to live.

Birth: Unfortunately, Platina has hardly any recollection of her birth or childhood. The earliest thing she can remember is waking up to the feeling of darkness wrapping around her in a cold embrace.
