Walt screeched to a stop by placing his feet in front of him. A yelp escaped his lips as the demon landed in front of him. As he heard the second 'darling', his eyes defocused and he slowly started walking backwards.

His arms shook, as if he was fighting himself, and slowly & unsteadily his hands inched towards his shoulders. While still walking backwards, staring in the face of the sickly-looking big demon thingy, his hands clawed their way towards his ears. As soon as he clasped his ears to stop the siren's enchanting voice, Walt dropped to the ground in a dead faint.
The creatures were too much for him.

"The fire. It seemed that, by me just staring at a spark appeared and caught. That fire was not going when she walked in." Nevada said as she looked up to Arul. Her eyes, the fire that seemed to grow stopped and then faded away.

Arul raised his eyebrow at Nevada. As he looked closer, he gasped. "Neva-deea..?" he almost whispered, his face blank.

Just gonna slowly put down this post and walk away.

The little girl had distanced herself from Walt by now. She had now idea what was going on back where she had made her camp.
Everyone seemed so bothersome. She was on a different planet yet humans still continued to pester her. Her eyes shifted from left to right as her ears picked up all of the white noise. She twirled the makeshift spear in her hand. She was not scared. She was hunting for food. She would not let herself get scared. She pushed her obsidian fringe away from her eyes as she peered into the undergrowth, looking for some sort of prey animal.
Come to think of it, this was a different planet, so the wildlife here must be different too.
A different planet.
She took a moment to let this finally sink in. All she had ever know was Earth. It was all gone. She was on a whole different planet with a bunch of strangers and, she supposed, aliens.
There would be aliens, right? They probably wouldn't look like your stereotypical sci-fi movie alien.. Green, with tentacles or whatever. But there would be aliens. Of course. This planet was lively, she could hear the forest sounds clearly.
For a moment, Katia's eyes widened. What if the animals in the woods weren't like on earth? What if animals that could be called prey here would happily eat her in a second?
Her hands shot up to her face. Teeth clenched, her eyes shifted rapidly from one dark spot to the next. She let out an uncomfortable squeak as her steps started to increase in speed towards what she hoped was camp.
She was just a little girl alone in the woods. Death was inevitable.
