A dark shadow passed across the sky, signalling the presence of Arian. Two crimson orbs swept erratically through the ground as he sought out for his next meal. It was with luck that he caught the sweet scent of fresh blood as he angled his outstretched wings to catch a torrent of wind which manoeuvred him towards the blood.

The extra wind whipped up his hair, tangling it in a sprawling mess but this went by unnoticed by Arian whose attention was fixed solely on his prey. The source of the blood came into view as well as two other creatures. One was similar in appearance to him, whilst the other was completely different. His attention slightly waved as he watched the former with morbid fascination. She was an aquatic creature no doubt, but lacked the elegance of one.

Like a starving vulture, he circled above the new creature -a siren, he concluded- and the dead unicorn, greedily drinking the scene before him. Both beings were gruesomely beautiful. The carcass, because of its promise of satisfied hunger. The siren, because of its unnatural beauty.

But this siren, despite her intoxicating beauty, was eating too much of his next meal! Arian groaned inwardly. He hoped she wasn't another crazy beast which picks meaty bones dry. Will she at least leave a few shreds of meat for him?

"Smells good!" He admitted to the world, through a strangled cry. "Leave some bones for me. Some meat if you please."

Good. She thought him mean. Maybe she'd leave him alone.

Pausing in midway of chewing the horse's neck, Ezra lifted her head as both the vampire boy and the newly come stranger spoke up. Fang's remark, she ignored, without so much as flashing him a vampiric smile. Arian, however, she took her time to inspect. She must have look humorous - laying on the grass with tail dipped in the small stream of water, a halfway devoured horse hugged to her chest, as if she held a newborn baby. Her cheeks and lips were bloodied, crimson trickling from her chin and onto her chest and arms, yet despite all that, she smiled longingly at Arian, succeeding to look as innocent as ever, even through the thick layers of gore and red liqiud.

"Of course." she smiled, words rolling from her lips as a whispered melody. A bloodied hand was extended and she flicked a large chunk of the animal's chest at him. It was part of the animal's ribcage and was a little chewed on. She'd ripped it here and there too but it was still food...

He was a winged demon of some sort, Ezra noted herself of the feathered wings on his back. He was hungry too, that was clear and acted quite like herself - savagely begging for food. She wasn't exactly sure of his kin, but from the looks of things, he wasn't an enemy, so she didn't mind having him around. Both boys intrigued her greatly - not that she'd admit it, so for now, Ezra guessed it would be safe to not hypnotize them. But... maybe later. She wondered what their souls tasted like...

Arian's crimson eyes followed the bloodied hunk as it sailed into the air, spraying droplets blood everywhere. He caught the meat with his fingers and shoved it to his mouth. Now vaguely aware of anything around him, Arian's full attention was focused on his meal as he savagely ripped it apart. He ate the whole thing, bones and all.

His gleamed with satisfaction as soon as his hunger was satisfied, and he circled one last time at the scene and proceeded to flew away. Except... instead of flying directly horizontal to the ground, Arian began descending from the sky, his new added weight serving as a handicap.

With a mix of bloodied limbs and feathers, Arian tumbled onto the ground clumsily. Like a sack of bones, he fall head first into the river. "Never fly on a full stomach!" He spluttered.

A light chuckle escaped Ezra's full throat when water sprayed on her, from the imact of Arian's fall. He'd apparently overestimated his wings' weight capacity. She raised an eyebrow, sliding back into the water sleekily with a smirk plastered on her bloodied face. The amber fin of her tail stroked the water once before she plunged into the depths, swimming with agility. In a matter of seconds, she'd surfaced next to Arian, circling him like he'd done her.

For the most part, he didn't seem like he could swim, at least that was what she guessed. And even if he could, the weight of his wet wings would be a burden to carry. The stream wasn't deep, but could drown the boy easily.

She swam behind him, wrapping bluish arms around his waist and keeping him afloat.
"You're going to drown." he chuckled in his ear. All trace of blood was now washed away from her body.

Fang watched with amusement as a boy with wings dropped down from the sky and landed by him and Ezra. The boy had feathered wings(much like his own, except they were a lighter cinnamon color.), as well as red eyes(again like his own.). Other than a few other, extra similarities, they were completely different. The other had an entire mouthful of sharp teeth, messy hair, and sickly pale skin, while Fang only had 4 sharp fangs, not quite so messy hair, and less sickly-colored skin.

His personality was quite different too, Fang observed. A small chuckle escaped his mouth as he saw the boy tear into the horse much like Ezra, herself. A laugh finally escaped his lips when the boy attempted to fly after eating, but ended up tumbling head first into the lake in a mess of bloodied limbs and feathers.

He stopped, only to lean against the tree he stood besides. But, once he caught sight of Ezra wrapping her slightly blue-ish hued arms around the boy, he began laughing once again.

Arian stopped thrashing around just to look Ezra in the eye and say in an uncharacteristically eerie calm voice, "No? Really? I would have never guessed," before resuming his state of panic. ((Sorry, couldn't help myself. 😋)) The siren's cold hands which gripped him did nothing to ease him, rather it escalated his terror of drowning.

His mouth let loose a raptor screech, which accompanied the blood roaring in his ears. Arian continued to thrash around for a few more minutes, before he was aware that he was indeed being helped to stay afloat. For just a second, his chaotic thoughts collected themselves and he thought about how absurd it was that a predator was helping its prey. This train of thought was quickly broken by the sound of crazed laughter.

He turned his head to see a similar looking boy with his sides shaking with laughter, and cocked his head to the side like a confused puppy. Arian turned a questioning gaze to Ezra, as if she had all the answers, before relaxing into her grip.

"She's holding me up, therefore protecting me, there not a predator," his animistic mind reasoned.

A light chuckle escaped Ezra's throat again as the boy flailed around in the water, clearly not yet realizing she wasn't trying to devour him like her lamb. It was expected - he was a beast after all. It was a bit hard to swim carrying a heavy (and flailing) angel to shore without giving into the desire to drown him. And hence the angel's need of air, she couldn't dip down to breathe in with her gills. In short, she was nearly suffocating, being above the surface for so long... His wings were restricting the movements of her tail so she had to grasp the shore in order to fling him onto it effectively. In the end, she had finally pushed him onto land and then plunged into the water, taking a big gulp of water and oxygen.

In a second, she surfaced once more, leaning on the shore next to Arian and giving a sly smile. "Watch out next time sweety." she cooed, stroking his hair with vampiric tenderness. "I won't be around to save you." To Fang, she flashed a smile too - it was rather a happy one.

She reached past him, gathering the lamb's bloody remaints and scooped them over to her. Hugging the skinned meat, she started chewing on the bones again.

As Arian was dumped back onto land, he sucked in as much air as he could, as if scared that it would run out if he didn't claim it fast enough. His crimson optics flickered back to one who saved him who had now dunked back into the water.

"Come back-" He begged, his eyes beginning to brim red with unshed tears for his new hero gone missing. Had she drowned too? No, she hadn't. As the siren splashed back out of the water, she came closer to him and began stroking his messy hair. The male angel leant to Ezra's touch, sighing in bliss.

"I will," He promised her, inhaling a lungful of her salt water scent.

Arian shot a smug look at Fang, with an expression that said: 'Ha! She likes me more than you!'

Walt frowned, after ineffectively trying to light a fire. The air seemed to have too much moisture in it, and the sparks never came from the stones. Throwing the stones down in a rage, Walter stormed off to a nearby stream. "Why me? Stupid rocket! Stupid nuclear-exposion-killing-everyone-on-earth!" He kicked the water every time he cursed, which was a lot.

After a bunch of time was wasted with unnecessary raging, Walt plunked down on the ground with his bare feet in the stream. Shoving his large glasses up his nose, he grumbled to himself as he threw stones into the crystal-clear water.

Having already finished nearly all of her sweet breakfast lamb and the horse as well, Ezra retreated back to the water, washing her face again and surfacing to slick back her messed up locks of gold back in place.

Having taken her precious time for beauty arrangements, Ezra rested her arms on shore again. However, the once calm water now began crashing in waves to the grassy land. She frowned inwardly, looking to her left, where the ripples came from. Eager to find out who had dared disturb the peace of her lake, she dove in quickly, swimming towards the unsuspecting young boy standing on shore.

How was Harlen supposed to know where he was going on an alien planet? She was such a dork. But as the, 'leave me the hell alone', attitude was so far ineffective, he decided he may as well stop trying, and relax a bit, or else, as he knew all too well, he'd end up snapping his temper. After glowering at the sky for a few minutes, he reluctantly told her, "East." How fitting. (This also shows how little he thinks of her intellect, that she can't tell direction).

Nevada jumped off of the large creature's back and looked at the log cabin. It instantly brought back a memory of her and her father going to the log cabin they rented for a week. Fishing, hunting, bears. It all came back to her in a big wave. As she force back tears and managed a smile on her face, she reminded herself to be thankful.

"It's wonderful." Nevada said solemmly. The girls expression wasn't any better as the sparkle in her eyes seemed to die out, like fire that has been drown in water, smothered.

Arul beamed, and patted the side of his log house that he built from scratch. When he saw Nevada's face though, his thick eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. "Sad?" He scratched his head and wondered what he had done to bring the girl so close to tears.

Walt seemed to calm down a bit, but he was still frowning as none of his stones skipped. As he picked up a perfectly flat stone, all polished and beautifully round, he knew he'd finally have a good chance to skip a stone.
Placing it carefully between his fingers, he turned to his left and placed his right around around himself. With one swift fling, he let go of the stone and it went sailing through the air, spinning amazingly.
It tilted downwards and hit the shimmering water, bouncing right back up again. As Walt stood eagerly, wishing, hoping that the stone would go just a few more bounces.
The stone started to fall towards the water again, spinning still. Then, with a small *plook*, the stone broken the water's surface and it sank.

Walt seemed to be frozen. But as one looked closer, his face was becoming redder, and redder as Walt became angry at everything.
Nearly exploding, Walt screamed angrily, thrashing about uselessly. He kicked most of the stones on the shore into the shallow end, and picked up a rather large rock. His face became very red as he threw it in, the rock effectively sending a wave that was big enough to soak Walt. He sat down, and started sobbing, saying something about even the water hated him too.

Nevada soon realized that she had zoned out and turned to Arul. "Oh, no! Just memories, so what do you want to know about Earth?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"There's much to learn you know. The seven continents, the oceans. Countries." Nevada looked at the log cabin. The structure seemed sturdy, hand made. "Did you build this Arul?" She asked curious.

Arul nodded, and tapped his head. "Bwains full of memowies. Happy, sad, both." He smiled gently, not wanting to hurt the seemingly fragile and innocent girl. He shrugged, "Arul's bwain, empty! Up, fill it!"

Arul's eyebrow was scrunched together at the middle, as he clearly displayed his confusion. "Contennets? Ocean, not sweet water, yah? Connytries?"
He trotted through the fabric door and poked his head through the slit. "Yes'm! All Arul fwom scwatch."

Nevada followed Arul insid the cabin. "Exactly if you drink ocean water, well I don't know what would happen, but some people used to say that it would make you see weird illusions."

She looked at the fire place closely. The way the wood was a burnt a bit, but still usable. It seemed that a spark appeared out of nowhere and caught, creating a fire. Nevada gasped as the fire seemed to build out of nothing. No one trying to make one. "D-did I do that? I mean I couldn't have right?" The girl turned to look at Arul, her eyes seeming to have a small fire that seemed to grow.

Swimming through the narrow bottom of the stream, Ezra navigated among the many seaweed floating near the surface, nearing the source of wave disruption. Soon, she jolted up, changing direction and beginning to swim towards the surface, but soon found herself bombarded with stones. She quickly moved out of the stone array's way and, furious, plummeted upwards, keen on dismembering whoever had the nerve to not only disturb her peace but also attack her.

Having picked up a high velocity, Ezra was ready to surface like an exploding geizer, but instead, slowed down near the border of the water and poked her head out instead, glaring ahead at the first thing she saw. Dark cerulean eyes held vampiric fury 0 it was clear the sirencraved to devour the troublemaker. although said troublemaker sat in tears near the shore, weeping pityfully.

She immediatelly frowned in confusion, highering herself so the water reached her neck and slowly approached the shore. The boy was rather young and strange looking- unlike any human she'd seen, he wore strange clothes and unusual square things, that he balanced in front of his eyes.

Yet it wasn't this that caught her attention. It was his hopeless expression - he looked so very sad. Instinctively, her eyebrows knitt together in sadness and she leaned against the shore, cocking her head in sympathy.
"Don't cry Sweetheart." she cooed, hoping to catch his attention.

Fang having decided to follow Ezra, folded his wings and landed on the ground a few feet behind Walter. A few pebbles bounced away from the impact, and fell into the water.(lol x3 More rocks.)

He stepped up besides the human(?) figure, sitting by the edge of the water, crying. Unlike Ezra, he felt exactly the opposite of sympathy. The demon knelt down inches behind Walter, hus wings flared out menacingly, shadowing them both from the light.

Fang spoke seconds after Ezra had. "Hello... Human." he said with a hiss. He put his shackled hand onto Walter's neck, contemplating whether or not he should rip his throat out.

In a second the demon had descended upon them, startlingly fast in clutching the strange boy's throat (he seemed keen on ripping his jugular) and hissin out a cheery greeting to the Earthling. Instantly, the soft melted sapphire eyes hardened to cutting ice and she snarled at Fang, narrowing her head to bare her fangs effectively and angled her shoulders higher, reaching to shore so she could pull herself onto it adruptly.

Acting quick, she lunged at the winged demon, claws first, she grasped his wrist in a painful grip, fingers and razor sharp nails digging into the deathly white skin. With the other hand, she encircled his neck, pulling him startlingly close, so their faces were inches from each other. A neutral look settled upo her features and shortly, with a smile, she whispered.
"I saw him first Sweeteart, he's my prey." she gave his reddish hair a stroke and tore her hand from his flesh.

Arul nodded, busying himself in his abnormally high kitchen. The log cabin had been built with Arul's tall statue in mind. The large couch, coffee table and kitchen were much taller then any human's furniture. The absence of chairs were filled in by thick blankets.

When Nevada spoke again, Arul looked up as she had stuttered. "Do vhat?" he questioned Nevada. His hands were busy chopping up abnormally large and extremely fresh vegetables.

Walt froze as the dark figure in the water spoke in a soft, blood-curling voice. He gulped as a cold clawed hand encircled his neck and a very large white/black blob spoke into his ear. The blob was a blob because the blob was not in range of Walt's thick glasses.
He was certain that he was going to die right then and there. But suddenly, the dark figure lunged at the white/black blob and they both seemed to be frozen in time. Only the few seconds later as the dark- no, blue- figure spoke was Walt sure that this was real and it was happening now.
As he held his neck with his hand, Walt stood up quietly and started to quickly walk away as stealthily as he could. When he was a safe distance away, he broken out into a full-fledged run.

By the time Ezra released Fang, she noticed (unfortunatelly too late) the other boy coursing as far away as possible from them. Her fingers immmediatelly loosened from around Fang's form and she turned to give Walt's retreating back a vampiric death glare.

She snarled, coiling around herself and half 'crawling' out on the shore so she was propped up on the base of her tail, like a cobra. Waist long blonde hair hung over her entire chest and shoulders, working as a sheet would. Her ribcage rose steadily as she took a breath. Straightening her upper body in full lenght, Ezra breathed out a single word.

~Darling...~

As if picked up by the wind, her voice slid across the distance between her and Walt, driving an echo with itself. Like a chant, the words hauntingly entered his head, settling inside it and sealing all conscious thoughts with a gentle echo.

~Darling... Darling... Darling~ the string of her voice surged through him, tugging him backwars to her. She was cooing him into returning. In no circumstances did she want to lose such precious prey.

Just as he had finished deciding what to do, he felt the familiar touch of sharp nails on his skin. Fang turned, alreay knowing that the siren would be there. He hissed loudly,and narrowed his eyes, before pulling away just as Ezra did.

As the siren was busy coiling herself up, Fang spread his wings and took flight. He flapped them multiple times, and before long, caught up to the human. The demon landed in front of Walt, just as Ezra spoke.
