@Karamel I don't know... A few months ago a tiny 8-year-old was chasing me around with a balloon, and I FREAKED. OUT. In science class we made balloon cars, and I needed to work outside in the hall because I was so horrified. When a balloon pops, I scream at the top of my lungs.Basically, when I see a balloon, I have a panic attack. I think it's irrational, because it does keep me from doing things in my everyday life; It's not like I see balloons everywhere, but most events have balloons, right? I just stand in the corner with my hands over my ears. And I'm almost 13, so it's extremely humiliating.I want to get over a lot of my fears and phobias, except, I don't know what causes them! I'm just a very anxious, spazzy, fearful person. 😋

@dreamer It's not irrational, because you said:"Every bad/uncomfortable situation in my life includes the popping of a balloon/multiple balloons." (emphasis on SITUATION, not feeling or sensation 😉 )"But my fear progressed into a phobia, because it was painful when the water balloons hit me during the fight and I could FEEL them snapping on my skin. It's just so... Creepy." (emphasis on because.)You're also scared of balloons because you know they will pop at some point (or you think) 😋 So it's not irrational, you have reasons.Same here. I want to practice calling people but it'd waste my money xD
