Phobias

So, I've had this phobia for quite a while now, and the oter day I decided to look it up for an official name.

Turns out, since I was a kid, I've been extremely globophobic; you can look it up if you don't know what fear that is.

Does that seem like a strange fear to you? Because people don't seem to understand the severity of globophobia, it's humiliating and people think I'm pathetic for it. ._.

Also, do you guys have any fear or phobia?

Well, I've never had globophobia, but I do have Insectophobia (fear of insects) and Arachnophobia (fear of spiders)

@dreamer I have Arachnophobia and Coulrophobia (fear of clowns) so your not alone. BTW the second one people find it weird!

For the longest time I had a fear of clowns. I've gotten over it, mainly because I realized that if I don't I would never be able to go to the circus again!

@Pablo2012 Coulrophobia isn't weird, I'm not afraid of clowns, but I know a lot of people who are... Honestly, clowns are pretty creepy if you think about it. 😋

@Midnightw182 I hate loud noises as well... I block my ears during fireworks.

I'm not afraid of fireworks though, I rather like them. But balloons scare the crap out of me, I can't be within 10 feet of one without hyperventilating and twitching and blocking my ears and sobbing. D8 *globophobe*

@Pablo2012 I know my dad's afraid of clowns too, and he's afraid of heights.

And I just realized... Clowns can be associated with circuses or parties, which oftentimes have balloons. D: *panic*

@Pablo2012 Ikr? I have quite a few fears, but my globophobia is the most severe; balloons just don't like me...

My mom said when I was 3, I was bouncing up and down on a balloon and it popped underneath me...
On my 6th birthday (I remember this clearly), my parents got me a light blue balloon at iParty. My sister banged it up and down on the ceiling and it popped above my head... My parents got me a new balloon and the same thing happened again.
When I was 7, I went to a carnival, and some guy was making balloon animals. He kept popping them, and by the time he was making his fifth attempt, I was over on the other side of the field with tears in my eyes and my hands over my ears.
When I was 10, I had one of those rocket balloons... I blew it up one morning and it exploded while it was still in my mouth. I got a piece in my eye, and my face was so painful after that.
I can't be in the same room with a balloon without feeling dizzy and insecure. If someone's blowing up a balloon, they can barely get it 2 inches long before my eyes get crazy and I block my ears while screaming, "IT'S BIG ENOUGH."(And I know EXACTLY what you're thinking of with that quote, don't say it XD)

I also had globophobia. I think we talked about it before. 😋

But, I also have acrophobia (heights). There are a couple more that I couldn't find the names for too. There's fear of driving (which is really severe), fear of seals and fear of deep water.

@Solaris I'm a bit afraid of heights myself, but not too much. Like, when I'm playing a video game and I'm walking on the edge of a igh cliff, I get a little nervous.

Phobias are so annoying to have. >.< I can't do anything about mine, though.

@Hay7199 I don't like spiders either. O_O I'm not afraid of them, they're just not the nicest things on Earth... XD

I did scream when it happened.It was yesterday and the it jumped in trough the window it freaked me out since it was jumping all over the place and in the end i realized it landed on my leg T-T

My one ex-friend (she's my ex-friend for a different reason though) took a grasshopper and chased me around with it. I was screaming so loud, and high pitched that everyone stared at me. It was sooo embarrassing.

Most people would think its embarrassing that i wake up my parent in the middle of the night so that thay can kill the bug i found on the wall of my room.But i cant help it looking at them makes me want to cry.
