My Star Egg Melted -__-

So I found my first star egg today, an Aerlo, in the cave. I was giving it a name and once I pressed steal egg, it said something like, "Oops you took too long to give it a name and the egg melted."

I'm so mad right now. I don't care if it's a problem or not, it's not fair. ☹️

NOTE: Please don't bash me about it saying I'm lying, I'm not so deal with it.

Thats wierd...it took me a long time to name my first star egg and it didn't melt

I tried to get an egg from the meteor today and it said that exact same thing.

I dont think your lying...i have never seen you lie...i think its true that if you take tooo long it goes away (but im not 100 % sure!)

I had the same thing happen to me. Mine wasn't a star egg or anything, but sometimes my computer is slow and the page takes time to pop up and load. While waiting for it to load, I went off and did some other stuff and when I came back I had the same egg melted message.

You must have taken a REALLY long time to name your egg.

maybe=Aerlo eggs have unique properties; one of the more dangerous properties is that, if you touch the egg with your bare skin, it'll freeze straight through most of the exposed skin. Depending on how long you held the egg, this freezing burn can rapidly travel to and through other human tissue. This is why these eggs require a unique extraction from the Egg Cave. If this egg gets too warm, it'll melt. So most Ark residents resort to putting Aerlo eggs in their freezers.

More About Aerlo

Aerlo can only survive in exceptionally cold temperatures. Thus it is rare that Aerlo are found on Ark (considering it's a tropical island and all). Aerlo are amphibious creatures; to keep cool, they go straight down to the depths of the ocean. Aerlo will rarely surface in Ark Bay because they cannot physically withstand the warmth of tropical waters. In addition, Aerlo are very smart creatures who are very protective of their young. If you ever do see an Aerlo surface in Ark Bay, take it all in -- it doesn't happen frequently!
