The wind blew hard and the sun shone bright. Cutting the clouds, the wings spread wide, slicing the air with great speed. From the tip of the tail to the edge of the snout, the light gleamed off each and every one of the silvery scales. Two icy blue eyes concentrated on naught but the black shadow zipping about the sky."Inabikari, use Tokkan!" a young man sat upon the Dragon's back, a determined look on his face.Inabikari did not speak, but she moved quickly, in sync with the boy's thoughts as well as the orders he spoke. Blue sparks emanated from the Dragon's body as she sprayed bright bolts of azure lightning from her mouth and struck the shadow, causing it to fall out of the sky. The black creature plummeted toward the open sea...You have entered the age of the Dragons, where fantasy is abundant and dreams seem real. But while the Takasumi roam, devouring souls in order to gain power, all tranquility is at risk. Can you defend Kyuumu?Posting physics and rules from my brother's account in a bit, it will take up space so I will make the form and goals along with helpful info from this account after that. Please don't post until then. It's possible I'll make a chat board in the future, there you will be able ask questions, confirm ideas etc.

@-misterman- and I run this roleplay. We can do it however we want. You must follow the rules and obligations of being a part of it without complaint.-Physics--You are Dragon Riders, but Dragon Riders are not common and are seen as heros. Often you will be admired by people around.-As Riders it is your duty to protect people from Takasumi, strange black and literally inky dragon creatures that devour souls. They are said to have been created by a cursed tome.-Night and day will come when myself and @-misterman- want it to, no one may make up when weather changes or night changes to day etc.-Dragons do not speak, and they may have a set elemental ability with different commands that go with it- they are as follows:Electric: Tokkan (lightning breath), Banrai (a heavy attack upon distant foes), Tenka (a mix of fire and lightning, requires high-level skill)Fire: Fukikesu (fire breath), Karibi (borrows energy from nearby allies to make a strong flame attack), Shoukyaku (easily destroys small foes, requires high-level skill)Ice: Aisu (ice breath), Toukan (ices over foes, slowing them down), Fubuki (an immense blizzard freezing all those within it, requires high-level skill)Light: Awai (light breath), Hakumei (an invigorating pulse that strengthens allies around you), Seisen (a blinding flash of light that destroys weaker dark creatures, requires high-level skill)Hehe, miscalculated, I'll need to post a bit more than just three times. Poison: Gaidoku (poison breath), Sarin (fast spreading gas that immobilizes foes for a short time), Gekizai (a powerful poison that instantly destroys weaker foes, requires high-level skill)Energy: Aokusa (energy breath), Matatabi (a silvery vine materialized out of thin air to constrict a foe), Kinpaku (a golden leaf storm that cuts down all weak foes, requires high-level skill)Water: Issui (water breath), Kyoha (summons a wave of water to sweep away foes), Kamon (an intricate whirlpool that envelops a target and heals it's wounds, requires high-level skill)Okay, so as you can see, there are three abilities for each element. You may also have noticed the fact that it requires high-level skill to use the ones mentioned in the latter of each. This means that during the roleplay either myself or @-misterman- can grant your Dragon that skill in different ways, but never under any circumstances are you permitted to grant yourself these abilities.The first of the abilities your Dragon get will always be a type of breath, this is a basic attack that is easy to use. The second is a stronger ability that, depending upon the element of the user could be a stronger attack than breath, or something that causes an affliction to foes.Alright, I think that's that on that subject, rules on next post! *too much writing, lol*

And sadly Poisoned Chocolate, though a good roleplay it was, just couldn't be done again. :c@p3flteng@silver_winged@aerandria Okay so I feel really bad and I'd like to say sorry for making this start ridiculously late. D:"We did good Inabikari, time for a break." Yuuretsu patted his Dragon's long neck as they landed in the skyport of the cloud city, Kumogata. Kumogata is a large city famous for it's many skilled Dragon Riders, some of which are among the most famous in the world. Yuuretsu was not famous, but he liked to envision himself being widely known and acknowledged for great works anywhere he went. He wanted to be like Kumogata's best flyer, Kurome. He was the greatest, hands down.Yuuretsu couldn't help but stare at Kurome as he entered the Recreational Hall. The place where all the Dragon Riders of Kumogata hung out, great and small. Kurome was talking to a bunch of his friends about how good he did that day, his great and beautiful shadow dragon resting beside him.Yuuretsu settled by himself in a corner with Inabikari. Even with all his hard work, he felt totally useless whenever he was even remotely close to the best in the city. How could he ever even talk to the guy? He wanted an autograph but he also despised him at the same time...

Laura shifted on her dragon Acid, and frowned. "Acid, my leg still hurts. Fly a bit better, will ya?" Acid looked at Laura, and snorted. "What? Your gonna fly faster?" Acid snorted again and sped up. "What? NO!" She screamed as they raced faster and faster towards the Recreational Hall. "I told you not to got there till Im readyyy!" Laura was a bit of an outcast, due to her sly and rude personality. Acid growled something Laura could not understand, and she huffed in annoyance. "SLOW DOWN I SAID!" She yelled, and kicked Acid hard in the side and yanked the chain around his neck.

"Hey Yuuretsu, I saw you out there today, you did pretty awesome." a voice said. Turning around, Yuuretsu noticed one of his friends."Hey Dominic." Yuuretsu greeted his friend lazily. "I don't know how you think /I/ did good when Kurome was out there." he said, pessimistically."Look, I know I don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to Dragons, and I know I don't have one, but I still think you're a really good flyer. I don't watch Kurome because-""See? If you actually saw what he can do you'd know I'm a loser compared to that guy." Yuuretsu interjected. "I'm gonna go get something to eat." he said in a quiet and slightly frustrated tone. Inabikari followed behind him without a sound. She turned and gazed at Dominic and squinted a bit, probably thinking about something or another, and turned back to follow Yuuretsu.Dominic was left standing by himself. "He never changes." he said with a half-smile.

Acid growled, and slowed down some more. They were still quickly approaching the Training Hall. Laura sighed and buried her face in Acids neck. She muttered, "Why do you torture me so?" Acid chittered a apology, and landed in front of the Hall. Laura cursed under her breath, and got off Acids back. She started to walk to the door, but Acid started to follow. "Aw, Acid, you cant come in with me. I need to get approved first." Acid snorted, and shook himself off. "Is that a yes?" She asked, and Acid stomped his foot. "I will take that as a yes, then."

Dominic headed off to the Training School and noticed Laura standing in front. She seemed to be getting herself ready to go in. "Are you applying for the Kumogata Sky Soldiers?" he asked her. "If so I can help you fill out the form of application and show you around the school training grounds. That way you'll get a feel for the place and be ready for your first real mission in no time." he finished.Yuuretsu went to the Cafeteria, where they served people and Dragons alike. "I'll have a cheeseburger, one normal and one king-size please." he asked, putting a card on the counter. It was his Sky Soldiers membership card. It really didn't do much besides prove you were a member and get you free meals from the Recreational Hall."Coming up!" exclaimed the enthusiastic chef, heading back into his kitchen.

"Alrighty then! Follow me and we'll get you started." he said as he happily led her into the building. Dominic looked to be about 18 and he had short brown hair. His chestnut eyes matched his brown uniform with the Kumogata Sky Soldiers symbol on it. He was obviously part of some kind of staff.

Laura stopped smiling and her face hardened into a cold, hard glare as he looked away. She hated being nice to people she didnt know, but she had to make a somewhat good impression. @takatheeducatedkidZeneda had spent the better part of the day flying speed circuits. She knew she'd be feeling the effects tomorrow, but for the moment, all she could think of was the gnawing pang at the bottom of her stomach. In order to get out early, she and her dragon had skipped breakfast.Omni trailed behind her, dragging the tip of his long tail against the floor. His fin spikes were pressed flat against his back, the luminescent bulbs just barely bouncing up and down as he walked. Even as a pair the dragon and rider were barely recognizable; they hadn't been Sky Soldiers for more than eight months.The pair bounced into the cafeteria and strolled up to the counter. She opened her mouth to place an order when suddenly a silver-haired boy strode directly in front of her. He looked a little distressed.Unable to help herself, she raised her eyebrows and flashed a look that said, "Really?" She didn't speak until the chef returned with his two cheeseburgers. Then, she flashed her own membership card. "Club sandwich, please, and a king-size cheeseburger?" she requested sweetly--perhaps a bit too sweetly. Her eyes flashed back over in the boy's direction for a second.
