"Love? How do you feel?" Storm decided to busy herself with tending to Love. If that demon EVER touched her again... Well, it would get very, very, ugly. Storm stroked Love's pretty hair. "I never should have left... I could of kept you from leaving and then..." A single tear fell from her eye, and as it hit the ground, it sounded like a little diamond shattering into thousands of tiny bits. It hurt Storm to see Love broken down to this.

The feather was on the table besides the bed of which the doctors tended to Love. A cold gust of wind blew in, even though the windows had been effectively closed, and the door was open only a tiny crack.

The black feather rustled, before flying in the air at the mention of the word 'demon'. It stayed still in the air for a split second, before it burst out into flames. It wasn't a normal fire, as it was a dark purple-black in color.

As if to contradict Storm's words, the burning feather glided to the ground, and in seconds, the entire room was on fire.

To say it had been a normal day in the realms would have been a lie - demons had fought spirits and such. She wasn't one to put up with noise or fighting... so she'd departed to somewhere quieter. And, of course, she'd picked a lake. A shady tree near the thin stream, where she could lay down, cuddle up in her brown coat (even though it was warm outside) and lay down for a small nap. Hands wrapped around her legs and head, laid on her knees, she dozed off, messy black hair falling upon both resting amber eyes.

Love was a bit annoyed. Yes, she was bleeding a bit, and yes she had a few broken bones. 'STOP IT!' Love mouthed her eyes clentched.

"We have to get out of here..." Storm said calmly. Yet on the inside, she was screaming. The docters nodded. And then, as if on cue, Lightning came in with a bucket of water, splashing it everywhere. It wasn't enough to put out the fire though... Storm's eyes hardend. Those demons were seriously in for it. Those idiots! How could they think that destroying the Earth wouldn't cause something awful? How could they think that it would bring good?

Love had evacuated the building in a wheel chair pushed by a female doctor. The frail girl had a very annoyed looked on her face. She got up just to be put back into the chair. Love looked at Storm, a look that said 'Tell them to stop or I'll bite one of the them'.

Sky picked up Jane and rushed out of the building after Love and Storm.She sat down by the river and ran her fingers through Janes hair.

"Sky stop doing that!" She said crossing her arms and looking rather aonnoyed

"Doctor, I respect your concern for Love, but she appears to be fine. I will call you if I need you." Storm said stoically. It was almost like she had lost all emotion. The docters nodded, and left.

"You must exuse me I'm afraid." Storm adressed her friends. "I need to figure out a plan." But that's not what she did. Instead, she ran to a very privite place, and cried her eyes out. "Why?!" She cried, "Why must this responibility fall upon me? I can't, I can't do it!" She had always believed in a God of sorts, and sometimes cried to it, and most often felt better afterwords. This is what she did now. "Please! I need help, I can't do it alone!" She begged, pleaded, for some sort of comfort, a miricle, anything! But nothing came. No sudden brillient ideas, no comfort. Nothing. And then Storm knew that she was on her own. That this was her burden to carry.

Lightning gasped. "Too high!" She frowned. "I'm 600 to be exact!" She crossed her arms. "You guys are too smart. Looks aren't what they seem here, and you know that! Most would guess about twelve."

Dawn sat in a tree, sighing deeply. Seriously, there was no one to bug. NO ONE. She leaned against the trunk and was about to close her eyes, when she heard something move. She sat up and looked down, but there wasn't anyone there. She looked up, and screamed.
A demon.

Fang materialized in the spirit realm, near the top of a tree, a content smile on his face. His eyes flashed with cruel amusement as he watched the flame spread through out to the entire hospital. The feathers on his wings rustled as they rubbed against the pale leaves of the tree.

Fang ran a hand through his hair. He looked down just as a spirit looked up, and a malevolent smile sparked up on his face when he caught sight of her. The demon winced slightly as she screamed. Then, in less then a moment's notice, his large wings angled out behind him.

Fang slipped off the branch, and using his wings to keep his balance, landed besides the female spirit. "Hello, spirit." Fang said with confidence, before gesturing towards the burning hospital.

"You see that?" he paused, giving the spirit a chance to look at the building. "That is my doing." he admitted contentedly. "Do you spirits even know what you are up against?"

Fang crossed his legs, and leant back against the trunk of the tree. "And that's only me." Fang ended with a snarl, showing his fangs.

Dawn couldn't believe it. A building was on fire, had this demon done this? She stood up. "What do you want from me? Leave me alone!" she screamed, standing on the edge of the branch.

Fang stood up only a split second after Dawn did so. "Do you believe it wise to ask me a question like that?" He asked as he stepper closer towards Dawn, using the claws on his hind feet to keep himself balanced. He leant towards Dawn so his face was only a inch, possibly less from her face.

"Leave you alone?" He asked quietly. "Why?" His wings flared out behind him, then bent forward, so it covered his face from anyone that would he looking on the left or on the right.

Fang had a visible smirk in his eye when he spoke once again. "Kill? People?" he asked. "You are a spirit." he reminded. "You are already dead." Fang paused once he finished speaking, and shifted slightly. His gaze traveled from Dawn's eyes, to her neck.

Then, Fang leant down towards her neck, and snarled. His sharp fangs were so close to her skin, they were nearly touching. "You are already dead." he whispered to her neck. "You have no reason to fear."

Dawn shivered. "If I am a spirit, then if I die here, I'll never be alive again. I should fear demon," she said, and saw with a giddy joy, but with a tinge of fear, he became angry.

"Impudent spirit." Fang said as he pulled back. "You are as idiotic as the human you once were." With a growl, he grabbed her neck, his claws digging into her skin. His eyes flashed with what seemed to be anger, and he jumped off the branch.

Both he and Dawn were hurtling towards the ground, Fang staying above, his claws still wrapped around her neck. Seconds before one of them could have hit the ground, he let go and flapped his wings.

Now, only Dawn was falling, while Fang stayed motionless in the air, only a slight wind keeping him aloft.

Dawn screamed, before she hit the ground, the pain in her neck was overwhelming. When she hit the ground, her heard her arm crack, and somewhere on her lower leg twist.
She was alive, but barely. She heard the demon's wings as he lighted down beside her.

"How perfectly unguarded you damned spirits are." Fang purred out. His scythe materialized in his hand, and he knelt down besides the broken Dawn. "Oh, as much as I would like to stay, I have an appointment in the human realm." he said, voice dangerously low. "I have already wasted a little more time than I want, ridding of you, and a few other unnamed that are of your kind."

With what could have passed as a dissapointed sigh, Fang, once again dissapeared, leaving Dawn to suffer on her own.

Fang reappeared in the living room of a home that could have belonged to anyone. The demon was tired, and immediately lay down on the soft sofa that he had appeared besides. He immediately assumed no one was home and fell asleep in less than the time it would take to count to ten. The scythe lay forgotten on the ground.

Love had seen Fang and shook in fear. 'FANG!' She mouthed fear coming into her eyes. The young spirit got up and walked as far as she could away from the two. Love had walked to the small house that she, her mother, and father used to live in. Now, it was just her, weak, defenseless, and now mute, Love.

Dawn opened her eyes sometime later. She felt like knives were in her knee and arm, but she sat up. It hurt. A lot actually. At least she was alive... right?
She looked at her knee, and winced. It was really twisted.

Then her arm. That was the worst. It was went backwards, and when she tried to right it, she bit her lip hard, resulting with blood coming out and dripping on her face.

Storm saw ANOTHER broken body and rushed to it. It was... Dawn. "...Dawn...?" Storm asked tentivaly. "DOC!" She cried. "No... nonononononono.... NO! Not you too Dawn! That demon. He will pay with his LIFE!" Storm couldn't take any more. No, she was being asked too much. Storm was broken. Tears streamed from her eyes. The doctor came rushing.

There was so much commotion around, she winced at that though. Running, screaming, fighting - it was painful just to listen. And the other spirits - how could they be so stupid as to provoke the demon. They simply got in his way.

The black-haired being sighed, cuddling deeper into her coat as she sat, watching two of the spirits nearby. One was hurt, broken and the other - vowing to avenge her... She sighed. Tragic. The demon would have another soul to rip.

How idiotic it was of them - why couldn't they run, why couldn't they hide from him, instead of screaming and flailing like some sissies. And besides, the demon was right - they werer dead, over. They didn't live. So therefore, they could not die. He could harm them, but not kill them.

She looked down, standing up, still curled in her coat and walked away... That is, floated away, from the spirits, seeking a calmer place to stay. Maybe another, quieter roof of a house would be nice. She spotted a smaller cottage somewhere near the outskirts and sat down, cross-legged, laying on the shingles and drifting off into sleep. She was so sleepy lately.
