Blog Notification

I'm unsure of whether or not this has been suggested, and before you tell me it's useless, at least hear me out.

I figured there should be a notification whenever a new blog is posted.
Yes, it seems useless, but I do have my reasons.

I normally check the blog daily, but there is never anything there, and when there is, there's normally two or three at a time. Since there's rarely anything there, I sometimes forget to check, so I thought it would be nice if a notification would pop up and tell you when one's there. ^^

It's a good idea, I rarely check the blog so I miss a lot of it's posts and when I finally check it the post has been there for a few days. XD

I think it should be the user's choice whether they want them or not, though 😱 Maybe a check box in the account preferences that says "receive blog notifications"? 😋

but like you knwo now when we sign in or just go straight here? we always end up on the blog page anyway so we can see whats happening without the notification 😃

By the way, once you login or visit the site you get directed to the blog. It was a new update added not to long ago, this was also helpful.

Nope, it's a new update I believe.
The new homepage covers the old homepage that had the views, feeds and clicks I think. I'm not sure if it's finish.
