"Unfortunately, no. As far as I can tell, it's just a small scuttle between some demons and a wolf-like creature. I'm just staying around to make sure that it doesn't turn into something major. My friends do live here after all and I wouldn't want them to be homeless." Crystal shook her head sadly. "These are tough times with the war..." Looking up again, the chimera met the gaze of Alyssa and tilted her head again. "Moving on from that depressing subject, If you don't mind me asking, why're you here? It's not very often that you meet a griffin in this part of the forest after all."

yes she has a weakness and that would be her emotions because sometimes her emotions rule her judgement and she loses a battle

The demon came closer and was covered in shadow. Riska told him to step out of the darkness and fight like a man.

can someone bring a demon into this equation 😊

A Mary Sue is pretty much an OC that pretty much does anything and everything perfectly. That's my definition of one at least. Anyways...since there are only three demons, two of which are busy and the thirds not on, here's a demon.

Appearance:...I'm coming up with this later. For now, he's just a silhouette...
Gift (power):he can melt into and control shadows.
Personality:Arrogant, manipulative, and Sarcastic.
side:Neither. He just wants to cause chaos and keep the war from ending.

After she made her demand, the shadow only grinned and in a sinister sing-song voice replied, "Now, now little queen...How can I be a man if I'm a Demon?~ Why would I want to be a man anyways?~ Demons are superior to those lazy lugs of meat after all.~"

Riska was so mad that this demon had the audacity to come to her land. She was so mad her eyes changed to a bright neon emerald color. "You are still male so you can still be a man even if you are sleazy demon scum. You don't belong here. Get off my land or I will make you. You are no friend of mine so I will not go easy on you. Now go or FIGHT!"
Riska was losing control of her emotions. Power was rolling off her in waves of light and heat. Then in the blink of an eye she was her wolf.
Her wolf was trying to go feral and break Riska's barely there control. "Attack him" her wolf said.

"Good point..." He said unafraid. " But how do you fight something that's not really there?~ Do you really believe that you can defeat darkness itself?~" Axori taunted. As he spoke, his form had melted into the dark shadows of the forest, knowing that it'd probably leave her confused. His voice still echoing his last words before he seemingly disappeared. "I'd like to see you try!~"

"I don't usually come down here" replied Alyssa, "I was up in the sky making cloud-shapes when I heard the battle. I was worried that a stray arrow or something might hit me, so I came down here"

Crystal nodded in return." Well, looking at the battle, I'd say that we should be safe in the sky again. Neither of the two combatants appear to be able to use ranged weapons or magic. They both are pro-Woah!" She cried in shock. Crystal stood up quickly again and stared into the eyes of the griffin. "Dawn, we need to get out of here! Like, right now! I promise that I'll explain later, just go! Fly back into the sky! It's definitely the safest place right now!" The chimera told Alyssa as her tail jolted back and forth towards every shadow, as if looking for something.

Riska communicated with him through her mind, "Come out or are you afraid of what you call your prey. Are you afraid of a little wolf like me?"
Riska knew what he was doing because the demons who killed her parents used the same tricks. It made her uneasy that she couldn't see him. She had the overwhelming sense of dread.
But then she heard it. Her pack had felt her power and knew something was about to go down. They were coming to help.

Alyssa didn't exactly know what the chimera meant, but she felt she could trust her, so she spread her wings and lifted off into the air. Scanning the sky, she called "Follow me!" to Crystal, "I can see a place in the clouds where we'll be perfectly hidden!"

Crystal:
"I'm coming! I just need a running sta-Eep!" Crystal shrieked loudly as something suddenly held her down by her tail before she could take off.

Axori:
"Me, afraid? Ha! You have so much to learn. I'm simply just using the environment to my advantage..." His voice echoed eerily all around the forest. "...Same with hostages, they all just give me more power over the opponent!~" His shadowy hand jolted out of the shadow of the tree and grabbed the snake's head upon Crystal's tail. Just as quickly, he moved the head and wrapped it around her neck, manipulating the shadows to keep them still as he did so. With the chimera trapped by the shadowy substance, he walked out just enough to be seen again by Riska and whistled to her "So, What're you gonna do now? You wouldn't dare risk the life of a child of your kingdom, would you?~" He gestured to the trapped cub who was struggling to break free. As one wing broke loose for a spit second, Axori narrowed his eyes and frowned. "Shut up and sit still you miserable ball of fur!" He yelled at her before he promptly kicked her wing back into the shadowy bounds.

"Ah, just because she has nothing to do with this doesn't mean I should let her go unharmed.And as for your question, I want Chaos and Destruction!~ It's always fun to see you mortals fight each other to the death after all!~" He spoke cheerfully. However, while he was distracted, the chimera had managed to release one of her paws and remove her gag. Careful to stay quiet, she uttered a illusion spell. Unfortunately, Axori had seen the action and slapped her with his tail, the shadows retying themselves around her mouth and paw once more. "Now, I'd prefer not to be simply called 'you' the whole time, so I'll give you my name. It's Axori. Axori Kahos." He told the wolf as he disappeared into the shadows once more with Crystal only to reappear directly behind Riska. "Prepare for battle!" He suddenly shouted as the sharp claws he had for fingers attacked Riska's side.

Riska yelped from the pain of Axori's sharp claws. After the initial pain was over she turned into her dragon form which was deep blood red with black markings. Her dragon skin was very resilient. Her dragon form had sharp spikes running down her back and razor sharp talons. Riska could talk in this form.
"Ha ha ha. You won't be able to break through my dragon skin with your puny claws.", she said in a lizard type voice. "You came after the wrong pack."
Soon after she said this she sent out a wave of energy towards Axori's mind that would disable him and put him in a mindless pain.

For the past few seconds, Alyssa had been so surprised that all she was able to do was just stand there and watch. But now, she recovered from her shock and charged the demon that was holding her friend, screeching "Let her go!" Landing next to it, Alyssa began to slash at the demon with her sharp talons.

"Aw...Two agienst one?No problem!" He streached out his wings and and used the spike in the center to slash at his new foe while his claws had been molded into into a more suitable weapon for dragons using the shadows. He retaliated both attacks effortlessly until the mental attack reached him. "Hm. Great...This battle's giving me a headache..." Axori sighed as he went from offensive to defensive slowly.

Happy that Axori was finally distracted from her, Crystal had used the claws on her hind legs to break off the shadows on the snake's head. Although it was slightly harder to cast her spell with the way that snakes speak and being bound tightly, she was able to utter the words of summoning.

Riska was slightly worried for the youngsters but had faith they would do fine.
She quickly attacked the demon with her blue fire so fast that it hit him in the blink of an eye.

As soon as the brilliant flame lit the area, Crystal completed the summon, leaving her severely weakend. However, she trusted her friends to help her and allowed herself to fall almost entirely unconscious. Dispite how tired she was from everything, something about the battle made her other head stay awake, functioning only upon her natural instincts.

Before he knew it, the scorching flames whirled around him, melting away his cloak of shadow and revieling his true form. Before the damage could get worse, he wrapped his long tail around Crystal's waist, ignoring the glowing lights next to her along with the shocked hiss from the snake, and dragged the chimera in front of him.

Well, I have a design for Axori now. Main thing you need to know bout him is that he's humanoid, wears only pants and two belts, has wings, his ears are really long and behind them are sharp horns, his hands and feet have two claws instead of fingers, and that's pretty much it. His upper half looks sorta dragon-like, but his face is flat and for a nose, there are two slits. Kinda like Lord Voldemort from Harry Potter I suppose. It'd be better to show the pic I drew, but I can't upload any images at the moment, so...😋 still need to figure out a color scheme as well.

Riska quickly put a shield around the children so they couldn't get physically hurt. Then she attacked Axori with her razor sharp claws and sliced across his chest creating a deep gash.

"Tch...I'm starting to get rusty." Axori muttered to himself as he leaped backwards, dragging Crystal along with him. As he prepared to strike, a mystical voice from behind him startled Axori causing him to jolt from his stance.
"Creature of Darkness, Release Crystal or face the concequences!" A pure white unicorn whinnied, the sound of his voice echoing with the wind.
"Great, now it's three agienst one.And I thought unicorns were fair." At this the newcomer simply snorted. "Alright, fine. You can have the stupid cub back. However, I will return. Of that, you can be sure." Axori growled darkly before fading into black like before. As he did so, he threw Crystal harshly onto the ground.

Satisfied by his disappearance, the unicorn carefully nuzzled the young chimera's head affectionately before moving to face the other two combatants. "You're friends of Crystal?" he asked, though it was more like a statement. " If you come here, I'll heal your wounds." the Unicorn kindly offered. "You should hurry though, as the magical power keeping me in this world is being drained at a worrisome rate." He glanced in Crystal's direction as he explained, making sure her physical wounds weren't to bad by sight.

Alyssa slowly got up from where she had been lying unconscious. The demon's counterattack had knocked her out, and she was just beginning to wake up. As her vision came back into focus, she noticed that the demon was gone, and some white creature was standing next to Crystal. She blinked a couple times, and was able to see it was a unicorn she heard it ask her if she wanted her wounds healed. Alyssa then realized that her wing was hurting terribly, but she was more worried for Crystal, who didn't appear to be moving. "Shouldn't you heal Crystal first?" she asked the unicorn.

The gentle creature sighed sadly. "It takes a lot of energy to summon a unicorn AND keep them in a impure realm such as this one... The quick drainage of energy causes mental stress upon the summoner and will continue to do so until I return back home...I would attempt to heal her, but mental pain is hard for ANY creature to handle or heal.The only thing that can truly help her is rest." He padded over to the injured griffin. "I would return right now, but I can tell that Crystal would want you to be healed beforehand. Especially since those wounds are caused by shadow. It's a dangerous weapon if used as its the embodiment of darkness itself. Its sorta like a toxin. I suggest the next time you meet another molder of shadows, bring along a companion accostomed to the light. Maybe an angel perhaps? Wait...no, they left to..." Suddenly the unicorn shook his head and then calmly placed its horn over the wound, healing it of the damage done earlier. "I'm starting to get off topic...Anyways, I'm going to heal the wolf and leave. As for Crystal, like I said before, she simply needs rest.I wish I could do more, but...Just please take care of her. Trouble always seems to follow her and she always refuses help from us." Shaking his head, the unicorn walked to the wolf and spoke with her as well.

Riska was astonished that there was a unicorn standing before her. She had only seen one unicorn before when she was a child. The unicorn she had met all those years ago had saved her from the demons and brought her back to health and here one was asking if she wanted to be healed.

Riska changed back into her human form and began to speak to the creature made of light. "No. No. I'm fine and I am already healing. I heal quickly but thanks for the offer."

Gift (power): deadly accuracy with all weapons especially his knife made out of the claws of the demon who killed his family
Personality:Nice to those who are his friends and tends to kill people who aren't depending on what they have done. Some people think he is a player but he isn't because he doesn't really get involved with women. He really just wants someone he truly loves. He is sweet and kind. Eric followed the demons who killed his family to the realm of dragons after he recovered from his injuries.

"If you insist..." He replied. Out of nowhere, the bright orbs of light from before swirled around the unicorn, his image fading further and further as they twirled. Unexpectedly, however, was his sudden smile at Riska."I know my visit was short, but I must say, it was such a nice surprise to see you again Riska. However, to be quite frank, I'm shocked you never recognized me. Then again, that attack had been such a long time ago..." Shaking his head yet again, the old unicorn glanced at Crystal. "That girl was always so full of surprises, but to actually reunite me with an old friend? Most Unicorns don't even have that privilege anymore! Ah-Getting off topic again...Anyways, can you do me a favor and watch over her? As a child, her heart is still quite pure compared to the rest of the world. Because of that, many of those of darkness will target her to erase the threat. Typically through the death of loved ones. All children start out like that. If they didn't end their only support, the first people to truly love them, then they will eventually gain power over light. If all children gained that power, then there would be no darkness.That's why so many children are orphans nowadays.

While the unicorn was speaking all Riska could think was how she didn't see it before. The unicorn looked so familiar but yet the memories hadn't clicked in. She wanted to hug him to know he was really there but she wouldn't because it would go against her nature.
