Shadow doesn't feel as happy all the sudden. Urgency takes over. "Tusami will be fine, but what if there's an evil royal or something...?" Shadow was telling herself that nothing was amiss, but she couldn't stand the sense of evil, so she leaped into the air.

"Tusami!" She called, "I'm heading to Canterlot!" and without waiting for a reply, Shadow zipped towards Canterlot.

"Wha? Shadow?" I mummble flying out of my castle to see her dissapearing towards Canterlot. "Sharp Wing!" I say "I need to tell her im ok" Taking off into the air after Shadow.

Shadow made it to Canterlot, and quite rudely landed in the castle, and frantically searched for Painting Scars, finding her with Dragon Born and some other pony.

"Get. Your. Ugly. Hooves. Off. My. Friend!" Shadow snarled, charging Dragon Born and kicking him in the face.

"What?" Shadow laughed coldly, "What am I Dragon Born? Oh that's right; you have no idea." Shadow snarled back, kicking him to break his focus as he attempted to charge his powers.

"Aww--!" Shadow curses under her breath, and turned back to Painting Scars. "Run. I'll be right there, I promise. But you're getting a head star." Shadow said, pushing Painting Scars away, "GO!"

The blackness surrounds the room. I growl at the filly, and shrink into a colt about her size. My voice squeaks, "Hey! That wasn't supposed to happen!"

"Alright, go on Painting Scars." Shadow giggled, "I'll take out the trash." Shadow smiled viciously at Dragon Born, turned around, and trust her hind legs at him as hard as she could, smiling as her hooves connected with his chest.

"Now the fight's fair." Shadow growled.

"It was s'posed to, stupid." Shadow laughed, swatting him aside. "Now you know what it's like being me; constantly being swatted away like a fly when you're giving it your all; never being enough."

Shadow picked up Dragon Born by the scruff of his neck, and made him look into her eyes. "I'll tell you a secret," She whispered, "I think this is a lesson you ought to learn; Strength doesn't come in numbers, size, or even powerful magic. Strength comes from--" Shadow tapped Dragon Born's small chest, "--right here. That's why you can't beat me; it's why I've always won. It's why you'll never win; because you have no love, you have nothing to lose."

Shadow dropped Dragon Born to the ground. "Some say that love is a weakness; it makes you do silly things. But they are wrong: love is strength. Think about it, and maybe you'll understand why I don't stop fighting. Maybe you'll know what I know someday."

Shadow turned and left.

Shadow turned around, and walked back over to Dragon Born. "Love is the most important thing in life. It is everything. And it is the only thing worth risking everything for. Love is the key to true happiness, and it is absoltly priceless."

Shadow smiled, and a tear trailed down her face, dripping to the ground. "Love is this warm feeling in your heart that slowly fills you up when you're with somepony you really care for. Love is indescibable. If you ever find it; cherish it for the rest of your days, because anyone lucky enough to expirience it is truely blessed. Love can create us, and it can destroy us. But seek after it for your whole life; because it will be worth every single second you spent looking."
