I stand up and shake my head to clear it. My plan failed and I was helpless all I did was hurt other people. I shot up into the air and flew.

I fly off crying as I zig-zag off into the sky I end up back in the mountains as a storm blows in. "No. No. No NO!" I yell out seeing the lightning again. Black tinged with purple. Then I get an idea if I get hit by it maybe I will go back to being just a regular pegasus again.

Shadow zoomed at Tusami as a bolt of lightning made its way to the pegasus. "NO!" She screamed, hitting Tusami and pushing her out of the way as the bolt struck, zapping Shadow.

And yet, it didn't hurt.

Shadow felt tingly, and suddenly faint. Something heavy was on her forehead now, and her wings had stopped flapping in her surprise. The bolt was gone, and Shadow fell.

"Wha--?" Shadow mumbled, sitting up. She felt her head. "Is that a... horn?" Shadow's eyes boggled. "What in the hay is going on?!"

Shadwo laughed, and flew after Tusami. "Do you think that a little horn's going to bother me?" Her smile was large. "I think I might like magic. I've always wanted to try. 'Course, I've never had a horn to do it with!"

"You know, what, that's okay." Shadow said, still following Tusami. "I may never understand. But I'll live with it; whatever it is. I promise. You've been my best friend through all of this, Tusami." A tear flew from Shadow's cheek through the air, hit the ground.

Fed up with chasing Tusami, Shadow poured on the speed, and barreled into the alicorn. "I will deal with it. I deal with everything. I do what I want, when I want. And I get what I want, when I want it. What do I want you ask? I want you to stop running, and stop blaming yourself for everything. I don't want you to worry. I want you to realize just how much you mean to me."

Shadow stared Tusami down. "What do I want to do? I want to stop this madness, and do whatever I have to do to make everything better."

Shadow climbed off Tusami, and looked at her expectantly.

Shadow sighed, and realized that she was taller than she had been last time she checked. She did a mental shrug, deciding that it wasn't important at the moment. "Alright. Where do we go now?" She asked, her tone a bit tired. "What do we do to stop this freak-out?"

Flying without really watching I get struck by the lightning bolt. My life flashes as I crash into the ground. I look up to see an alicorn. I stand up and shake my head and see my reflection in a puddle. "Well, that lightning must have just missed me." I remark noticing htat I was still a pegasus.

"How do you know my name?" The words rang through Shadow's ears, and she almost teared up. "B-because I'm you're friend.... Don't you remember?"
