Changing Titles

I think that, if you are the creator of a thread, you should be able to have the ability to change the title of a thread...

Oh, I love it!!! We can change the topic name like if we wanted the topic to close and we were the last poster, we could change the name and the mods will see it and close it or role playing. Like, you could change the title to say Harry Potter role play two more people to Harry Potter Role Play or something XD.

@jennifer If you want a topic closed send in a ticket saying that you want x topic closed and we will close it. Much easier for us that way rather than sifting through tons of topics looking for one that had its title changed.

@crunchyoreo25 I'm kind of up in the air over this suggestion. While this would be nice for users, there is that possibility for abuse. But it is definitely something to consider for future site updates.

Edit: @mib666666 The power to delete topics needs to stay with us moderators. Users being able to delete their own topics opens up way too many ways to break the rules and that is something we do not need. If you want one of your topics to be deleted please send in a ticket about it, that way we can delete or lock it for you.

@mib666666 If you really want a topic deleted, just submit a ticket. It's just way too risky of a feature to allow users to delete their own topics. A feature to lock/rename threads, however, is certainly something to think over and possibly implement in the future.
