Getting Banned

One of my close friends, @theannualcookie created an account on eggcave about a month ago and today her profile disappeared plus all the comments she posted were erased.
What are some ways you can get banned? If it's possible...

@Happy Yes, you can get baaned for multiple accounts. Also for swearing, using inapropriate language, and annoying tons of Ec users. But, since she created the count about a month ago, you say? If an acocunt is not activate through the link in your email after 30 days, your account will be automatically deleted. That happened twice with my sister. >.<'

i do know she didn't get banned for swearing, annoying, etc.. since she would receive 3 warnings..

By abusing and going against the Terms of service (http://www.eggcave.com/terms), you are at a considerable risk of having your account banned.

Spamming, swearing, and the usage of multiple accounts to obtain Cave/Asteroid creatures are just some of the ways you can have your account removed.

As for warnings, I don't believe I see anywhere that states you have three strikes before being banned.

Yes, she used side accounts. I caught her today, she was all suspicious.

To add to meteroid, I think it says you can be immediately banned for a serious offense. I also know that the warnings are only for trivial offense's like spam (unless it's intentional).

I suppose it depends upon the number of side accounts involved that decides the severity of the punishment, but the Terms of Service state that "Storage accounts should be used for exactly that: creature storage. Violations of the restrictions above will result in the immediate termination of all accounts involved."

So as far as ban-worthy offenses go, abusing side accounts seems to be the most popular method to receive a one-way ticket out of Ark.

Ive seen suspicisous usernames in the TC. So i leave a page there and start a new tab. A few minutes later i go to see if the trade is gone, i search up the name of the egg and 1-3 times the egg[s} go to her/him.

That is what i do when i transfer my eggs xD. But this was extra suspicious! That user got NOTHING in return!

I definitely agree with you guys. 😱 It varries, I mean, one user who was banned right away, but another user, he was just suspended twice. Once for spamming the blog, another time for adopting a creature from the ac with the s-wword in the name. I don't think that was fair though. He clearly stated that he only adopted the creature so he could help Ian find out who NAMED it. -.- (he's still on eggcave tohugh) so yeah, it depends on the crime. xD

but if the user got nothing in return, theannualcookie would've not even get the creature since you'll need to get something in return.

Sounds like a side. The person was only 5 minutes old and he already knew how to trade? It took me....like 1 week or 3-5 days to figure out.

I just did the same thing today. I transfered all my creatures over the level 2000 to my storage.

Sounded like a side. I didnt get a chance to catch the users username. But i ask @theannualcookie. She said it was a friend who i asked for it. And i was like "A friend who is 5 minutes old?" And when i searched that user {Before forgot username} i saw no post. Then she/he jumped on me and was all like "Why do you even need to know? blah blah blah".

Suspicious?

Mabey she'd had a bunch of sides, and found them all when he looked into it......
