More Specific Forums

I think that the Forum is not really specific enough. I was thinking like having Forums inside Forums. My idea would be like this:

INTRODUCTIONS
new players
returning users

SUGGESTIONS AND IDEAS
Spring suggestions
Summer suggestions
Fall suggestions
Winter suggestions
Holiday suggestions
Site improvement suggestions

HELP AND QUESTIONS
Creature questions

fixed bugs (the topics in this forum are locked)

announcements (only mods can post here for things about changes. It's like the blog)

@jennifer I don't love this idea, nor do I dislike it. It seems like a good idea, but I'm good either way. o3o

Well, different people like different things.
So some people may be an Animal Lover, whereas some aren't. So everyone will want one specific topic that they'll always go to, and then there would be too many 😋

People just aren't using the hash tags that much.
If they did, we could just search and find what topics we want/need.

@whitefall I am trying to make new "sections". You see, if you go to suggestions and ideas, for example, you would see a lot of creature ideas and not a lot of other ideas. It's too full of creature s's so you can't find non-creature s's. If it was separated into two groups, creatures s's and non-creature s's, it would be a lot easier. I'm trying to think up more. @spirithawk @awesomeness366 Thanks for supporting anyways.

I don't see why not.

Perhaps some sections don't need subforums though and some might just be too small
For example:
~ "Bugs & Problems" is just ones that have been locked or not
~ "Roleplay" since some RPs cross over various genre & it probably would be confusing as to where those border ones go...
~ "Chitchat" is basically just talking about whatever outside of Egg Cave, so yeah... o_O

I love the idea of having sub-forums. That's something I love about forums. However, I think this would be too many.

I don't really think this is necessary, since it's not like the forums are super busy. One post can stay on the front page for days sometimes. If it ever got to a point where the forums were getting crazy, then this might be more helpful to keep things organized and break up the topics a bit. However I don't think it's something that is necessary at the moment. This reminds me of how Chicken Smoothie has their topics set up, but CS has a lot more members so I feel it's necessary there. Here I think it would just create a lot of unnecessary sub topics that don't really get used much.

As far as finding topics, that's what hashtags are good for. 😊
