Can you survive Disaster Island?

Welcome. I am the Creator. You have been placed on Disaster Island because you have shown that you have great survival skills,and those skills are going to be put to the test.

Description:

-RULES-
No supernatural/superhuman events
Teamwork is allowed
You can't drink saltwater
If you go without food or water for more than a day you're dead.
When I announce you're dead YOU'RE DEAD unless you can convince me you lived via Private messaging

-HOW TO PLAY-
When I post things like:
-The Creator has sent in a tornado!-
You have to post and tell me how you survived.
-Poisoned rain has fallen- All water is poisoned and anyone not in shelter will slowly die unless they are given an antidote.

If its a new disaster I will tell you what's happening and hint on how to survive.

You will awake on a beach with normal clothes, a backpack with some crackers, a sleeping bag, an empty water bottle, and a knife.

Description: Black messy hair that is in a kabob cut, turquoise blue eyes with dark circles under them, pale but with kind of tanned skin, stands at a height of 4"4', rather skinny from having to survive with wilderness food.
She can be rather sarcastic when around other survivers but very serious and determined when survivng alone, when you get on her bad side she'll find some way to control the anger. When times are saddened and moody she can be rather dramatic and extremely sad.

Yes everyone is excepted. You all start on different beaches on the island. Animals on the island are deer, monkeys, rabbits, small mammals like mice and squirrels, many birds, fish, and rarely; panthers and one lion.

Fruits, vegies, and plants: apple trees, carrots, coconuts, some bamboo patches, maple trees, tropical ferns, etc.

Disasters will occur randomly (mostly at dawn and dusk which gives you plenty of time to get ready during the middle of the day and late at night.)

Zix woke up and looked around, she was on an island, and with a backpack on?
She glanced around to see if anyone was around, but they weren't.

Zix took off the backpack and searched, there was a bottle. She opened it and saw there was nothing in it, she looked around and noticed she had a sleeping bag, a plastic bag of crackers and a knife.
She took the knife and put it into her jean's pocket, zipped up the backpack and turned around, looking over at island jungle, and started walking into it, hoping to find some fresh water to drink within this wilderness.

Zix walked into a somewhat clearing, with trees around it, vines hanging down from the branches.
She looked up and saw the trees seemed to bend perfectly and covered the sky from some rain, but she knew rain would drip from the trees.
She looked around and saw a small bunch of bamboo, she walked over to it to test how strong this bamboo was, and it turned out to be a strong adult.

Ok everyone gets a while to explore the island a bit, start a little camp, team up, collect recourses and all that before the first disasters start. I forgot to mention that there are three types of disasters:

Common- common disasters happen most often. They are small and easy to avoid. If you do come in contact with them though there are simple ways to survive them.
Treacherous- much harder to avoid and survive
Deadly- deadly disasters can not be avoided and are very hard to survive.

They will look like this:

Type: Common, Treacherous, or deadly
What it is: (example Piranas)
What it means: approaching a water source is risky. If bit will cause a deep wound that could be infected.
Hint: a certain plant on the island can stop infection.

Also the Creator can send gifts

What it is: minor heat wave
What it means: Fresh water sources are slightly harder to find and running will greatly increase your thirst.
Hint: some plants store water in their stems or trunks.

Zix grabbed her knife and started cutting the bottom of one of the bamboo, thinking of a way to make some shelter with the strong bamboo, lots of leaves and the vines hanging from the trees.

After cutting all of the bamboo, she walked over to the high grass, readied her knife and started slicing the grass, trying to make the clearing more comfortable for the night.

Zix finished cutting the grass to be a bit shorter and grabbed the bamboo, stuck one of the sticks into the ground deeply and did it again three times, forming a box but with holes on the ends and sides.
She looked around and saw there were many vines hanging, she walked over to the trees and pulled most of the vines down, walking back over to the bamboo sticking in the ground and connected the bamboo with the vines, grabbing more and more vines and made a pointed roof, but with some vunarable holes.
Zix took some almost ginormous leaves and tucked them into the holes, making a perfect leave roof, leaving Zix proud.
But it wasn't done yet.
Zix suddenly felt very hot and thirsty, she stuck her tongue out and panted slightly from the heat and hoped there was some water around.
She searched the area around here but found nothing but plants.
Zix kicked a plant and was rather surprised to see water drip from it's leaves.

Laura frowned, feeling her cheeks grow hot. She glanced around to see if there was any source of water for her face. There was not, so she stood up unsteadily. Walking over to the shade of a tropical tree, she pulled off a backpack. "How did this...?" She wondered out loud. "Oh well, nevermind that." She muttered, shifting through the pack contents. She found a dagger, and sighed. "Is this really the best they had?" She rolled her eyes, and turned to the tree. She stabbed it hard, hoping there was water to be found.

A friend of hers was a hydrologist, meaning he studied water and how to prevent it from getting polluted. He had told her in some trees, water could be found.

Laura smiled slightly, a few droplets of water started pooling around the dagger cut. She gripped its handle, and pulled it out. Water started dripping into small rivulets down the bark of the tree. She dipped her fingers in, washing the sand from her face.

Zix remembered her empty water bottle and opened her backpack, but before she grabbed her water bottle, she suddenly saw a booklet.
"That wasn't there before.." thought Zix, grabbing the booklet and opened it.

She searched through it and noticed something about the plant she was going to get water from, it read: "This plant can turn water that drips onto it's pollen into toxic cemicals-"
Zix gasped and backed away from the plant, wiping her hands on her jeans to make sure she had none of the water from the plant on them, and it didn't.
She sighed with relief and put the booklet and her bottle back into the backpack, strapping the large bag onto her back again.

Zix walked back to her shelter and put her backpack under the roof, grabbed tons of vines and made some walls but left one of the ends open so she could get out and a side so she could make a small fire to keep her warm and to keep the fire safe from rain.
She grabbed more of the huge leaves and put it down onto the grass under her "tent", grabbed two more bamboo sticks, stuck them into the ground by the side with a missing wall of vines and created another room, including a small, flat roof.
She walked out of the tent and grabbed only a few dry sticks, a rock and dry leaves and walked back into her shelter.

@candyluver6789 it appears in your backpack. Your backpack is one of the most important things you have. I've decided to make it bottomless to so you can put as much stuff in it as you want.

@iceyfira whenever you archive something (building a shelter, surviving a deadly disaster, making fire, defeating a rare animal, teaming up) you might receive a gift.

@iceyfira well I guess you could but they would have weapons too and it would get rid of your chances for teammates. Plus there are the disasters you have to worry about. I could send major predators on you when you least expect it. I don't find killing other players a good strategy and I don't think they would really appreciate it either, but go ahead if you want.

Top skill: Experienced in hunting with weapons (guns and rifles alike) and fishing, but without proper tools, it's hard for him to get food. He does well with directions and finding his way out of difficult terrains, as well as locating water and food. He does poorly with shelters and fire.
Description: Tall and strong, but lacks muscles. Has a thin and agile structure, rathe rhandsome too. Dark brown curly hair hanging to his ears. Grass green eyes.

Intro

Rather dizzy, Samuel swam back to consiousness, awakened from deep slumber by the loud crashing waves of the sea and the gentle rumble of water. First thing he saw was his own hair obscuring his already blurry vision. It was wet, probably from the waves he was laying in...

However, when he rubbed the blurriness away and ran a hand through his locks, brushing them away from his eyes, he was surprised to realize it wasn't the waves that had soaked him, but the thickly falling droplets of water that rained down on him. Confused, he sat up, feeling something weight him back down onto his back. Reaching behind himself, he felt two straps onto his shoulders -- he was wearing a backpack...

Not bothering to spare a moment to investigate said bag, Samuel stumbled up on the slippery sand and somehow trotted to the dr safety of nearby coconut trees. Settling comfortably under them, he unstrapped the bag and set it down in front of himself. Thankfully, inside he found a sleeping bag, a small amount of food, one weapon and a waterbottle (albeit empty).

He was on an island, an abandoned one - he'd figured that out the second he had felt the backpack on his back... "Great luck." he praised himself ironically.
