@geefriend45Maybe you shouldn't be able to do anything on an account until it's unfrozen? And ALSO a time limit 😸
geefriend45 • 21 October 2012 at 11:37 AM
@cqpkyttyYes, I mentioned that in a different post:"Hmm, what if you could freeze your account so that the only thing you're able to do on you account is unfreeze it, then, like cat said, have to wait before refreezing it?"
cqpkytty • 21 October 2012 at 11:38 AM
@geefriend45oh 😋
linpug • 21 October 2012 at 11:39 AM
@geefriend45I don't agree, as it would seem to ruin the purpose of EC and freezes. People may take advantage of this.
geefriend45 • 21 October 2012 at 11:40 AM
@cqpkyttyBut it is a good idea, better than my original one of being able to still log on and do stuff. 😋
cqpkytty • 21 October 2012 at 11:40 AM
@linpugIt's not there in the first post, but if this was made, there would 1) be a time limit 2) you wouldn't be able to use the account until it was unfrozen 😋@geefriend45Maybe you should edit the first post for the new suggestions?
linpug • 21 October 2012 at 11:45 AM
@cqpkytty I don't think it's a good idea, for other reasons than the ones I stated that meteoroid stated. Even if it had modifications, I think it would be to complicated for something that isn't mandatory, because Tim covers this problem. 😊Not to be rude, as I agree that it's annoying when you can't access the internet, and your creatures die, but that's what Tim is for. 😊
crescentfeather • 21 October 2012 at 11:46 AM
It seems that no one read my comment? xD
geefriend45 • 21 October 2012 at 11:47 AM
@linpugI realize that people will take advantage of it, like they take advantage of anything else, but with a time limit, and not being able to do anything at all with your account, and not being able to refreeze the account immediately, I hope that we could eliminate cheaters.@cqpkytty Okay, went and did that. 😊EDIT:@crescentfeatherxD Sorry I didn't see it!o-o I hadn't known when I posted this that it had been suggested before.
linpug • 21 October 2012 at 11:49 AM
@geefriend45 I don't find this suggestion necessary, because the problem could been solved with Tim's food shop.
geefriend45 • 21 October 2012 at 11:50 AM
@linpugI understand.I just thought that I'd suggest it anyways.Maybe I like Egg Cave rule discussions. 😋
Meteoroid • 21 October 2012 at 11:51 AM
@geefriend45 It's fine about posting the suggestion though it's been suggested before. It's probably quite a few pages back.We need a forum search function, which is another greatly suggested thing.
geefriend45 • 21 October 2012 at 11:53 AM
@MeteoroidOh, okay then.A forum search would be useful, because then we'd know before posting "new" ideas. 😋

I really support the idea personally since I'm not able to be on EC a lot..and I'm sure more people would support the idea. Most people quit on EC because they don't have the time that EC requires. (Out of all the virtual "pet" sites I've ever been in, EC requires the most time and work and commitment. You kinda should need to log on pretty often and otherwise spend a lot of EC on Tim's. I'm sure and I know that many users quit because of this reason. In fact, why would so many people suggest it? After a while you can't just continually keep up such a high commitment...)Throwing this idea out there-why can't we implement a "good Egg-Caver" bar or something of the sort? Clicking around, feeding eggs, posting on the forums, older accounts or whatever..flipping through pages, that is (or whatever form of measure would be most easy to program, or even) increasing the "good Egg-Caver" bar. The more time you've already spent on EC the more often you can "freeze." This would solve the problem of "laziness" that people are throwing out, and it would be harder to try to get your creatures to be constantly "frozen," ahaha. Plus the time limits, of course.

I really like this idea, although I have some suggestions. First, maybe we can only use this 2 times a year, so that people do not keep reusing the "freeze" so their creatures don't die and they don't have to use EC for Tim's.Also, we might be only able to use the freeze on, lets say 20-30 creatures during each freeze? Just a suggestions 😋

@geefriend45 This is brilliant. I come on once a blue moon, and I have a few friends who are nice enough to feed for me, but I'd love it if we could do this.
geefriend45 • 22 October 2012 at 4:58 PM
@mimlia Yes, I've noticed the amount of time EC requires as well. With most of the users here being of an age which we either get a lot of homework or we have a job to be busy with, managing time along with EC can get difficult. And I think your "Good Egg Caver" bar idea is brilliant, it would certainly weed out the users trying to cheat the system. I added this idea to the first post, if you don't mind. I gave you credit. 😊@2elle2 I don't think there could be a creature limit implemented, because, as some people have pointed out, if you have time to come on EC every day to talk to your friends, you should have time to feed your creatures. So, we'd have to make it so that your account becomes completely inactive until you unfreeze it, to prevent people from using the freeze mode to keep from having to pay to freeze separate creatures in the desired stage.@boxofcrayons Thank you! It's still nice to have friends to feed for you, though. 😊
