I think there should be a setting on the preferences page that will "freeze" your account, so if you have to leave for a long time and don't have anyone to feed your creatures, they won't lose any happiness.When frozen, you wouldn't be able to do anything except unfreeze the account, then you have to wait for a while before the freeze option becomes available again. There would also be a time limit, to prevent people who leave and never come back from depriving really good names from newer users when the older user never plans on doing anything with them.To unfreeze your account, you'd simply go to the account preferences and select the unfreeze option.An idea from @mimlia: A "Good Egg Caver" bar, which you have to spend time on Egg Cave in order to fill the bar, and when it's full you are able to freeze your account.Well, there's my idea. Feel free to shoot it down, I don't care much. đ I just thought that we could do with not losing half our creatures if we go on breaks.

@geefriend45I like that idea! đ And your SO right about people shooting good ideas down because people do that lot! :\
iceyfira • 20 October 2012 at 6:16 PM
@geefriends45Thats a really good idea.
geefriend45 • 20 October 2012 at 6:18 PM
@skibunny9Thanks! đWell, when people shoot down ideas, they give logical reasons. đ Like I said, I don't mind if this idea is shot down,
awesomeness365 • 20 October 2012 at 6:20 PM
@geefriend45 I agree. C: It's a really good idea. I won't have to worry too much about my creatures dying because I have to study hard for this test to move on the 7th grade accelerated math. xP
geefriend45 • 20 October 2012 at 6:22 PM
@iceyfira Thank you!@awesomeness365 Thanks! You take accelerated math? High five! xD
awesomeness365 • 20 October 2012 at 6:23 PM
@geefriend45 xD Yeah. *high fives back* Nu, that wasn't hard enough. *slaps your hand* Much better. O3O
geefriend45 • 20 October 2012 at 6:27 PM
@awesomeness365o3oWell then. *super evil mega hand-slap*We probably shouldn't spam the topic with high fives...
awesomeness365 • 20 October 2012 at 6:36 PM
@geefriend45 Ow. O_O Yeah. xD What a great idea! xD
crescentfeather • 20 October 2012 at 6:37 PM
Sorry, no, this idea has been shot down many times before. Let me see if I can find it...
geefriend45 • 20 October 2012 at 6:38 PM
@awesomeness365Yesquite. xD
awesomeness365 • 20 October 2012 at 6:45 PM

@geefriend45 Good idea đ¸That way I wouldn't have to pay for Tim's...
spirithawk • 20 October 2012 at 7:30 PM
@geefriend45 I don't exactly agree, because the point is to take care of your Creatures, not to have them at 100 happiness when you're not even feeding them. I understand how this would be good for people who are taking a hiatus, but there's a such thing as booking your Creatures at Tim's. I know it's not free, but if you could have your Creatures at 100 happiness for free (Which is technically what you're suggesting right now) is just a sign of laziness. Like I said, this would be good for people who are taking a hiatus, but you simply can't have your Creatures to be fed for free. (Well, at least at Tim's) And there's always having people feed your Cove while you're away.
despair • 20 October 2012 at 7:34 PM
@geefriend45 This destroys the point of Tim's and Freezes. I disagree with this idea.
tikimaki • 20 October 2012 at 7:44 PM
@geefriend45 Sorry but I disagree...1. You won't be taking care of the creatures2. You could put it in freeze mode and still be on3. Nobody will use Tim's4. Nobody will use freezes5. People will not make their creatures immortal6. You would never be able to take names of a creatures that should be dying7. What happens if the person never comes back on?I hope that was comprehensive enough, I list a few more but I have to go. XD
cqpkytty • 20 October 2012 at 8:01 PM
@tikimakiAbout 7 - maybe there could be a time period? Like, you could have it last 2 weeks/1 month/maybe 3 months MAX.And, if you wanted it to evolve but you didn't feel like feeding it, you couldn't just freeze it. You would still need Tim's and/or immortalization đAlso, if you wanted one of your creatures to be frozen but not any of the others, you would still need to buy a freeze đ@geefriend45Read that ^
tikimaki • 20 October 2012 at 8:11 PM
@cqpkytty Yes, I agree. If this suggestion was implemented than I would strongly recommend a time limit. ^^ Although this suggestion sounds like another version of Tim's but without paying the EC. XD

@geefriend45 - I like it đ
linpug • 20 October 2012 at 8:41 PM
I don't agree. đ
geefriend45 • 20 October 2012 at 9:16 PM
@cstarswirlxD That's not exactly the point, but okay.@spirithawk@despairGood point, but nothing else would happen to your creatures either, they wouldn't level up, or evolve or get increases in stats.@tikimakiWell, I... Don't know what to say to that.I can see now why this isn't a good idea. đ@cqpkytty A time limit would be a good idea... đ Thanks for that!
whispers • 20 October 2012 at 9:19 PM
@geefriend45I agree. I used up all my EC on Tims and now that I can't go on as much, I don't really have time to feed to make EC to book my creatures.I wish this would get implemented, cause then I would be able to focus more on my schoolwork and stop worrying about my creatures dying.
geefriend45 • 20 October 2012 at 9:24 PM
@whispersThanks!Yes, the point is to make it easier to do other things, not, as some users pointed out, to be lazy and not immortalize or not buy freezes.
naturegirl1999 • 20 October 2012 at 9:26 PM
I lost more than half of my creatures when I went on a break.When I got back I stole eggs frem the egg cave,but eggs died thin too. When i went on today,I put my eggs at the food shop once i had my steals.
tikimaki • 20 October 2012 at 9:30 PM
@geefriend45 XD Sorry for replying late.
cat • 20 October 2012 at 9:52 PM
@tikimaki I would like this idea if the first time that you would login while it was frozen it would automatically unfreeze, and you wouldn't be able to refreeze it, and if every time you unfreeze your account, you'd have to wait before refreezing it. It should also cost, because if it didn't, Tim's would become useless đ
liza200aa • 20 October 2012 at 11:19 PM
@geefriend45But this will completely break the whole concept of tim's âšī¸
Meteoroid • 20 October 2012 at 11:35 PM
@geefriend45 It's a nice idea with good intentions, and you're definitely not the first to suggest it, but it just seems much too "game-breaking" and full of flaws to even work out properly without abusing the feature. Tim's Food Shoppe is honestly the same exact feature, but with the cost of EC.After all, Egg Cave's focus is feeding creatures and caring for them. If you're on hiatus but you're still for some reason visiting the website, you are more than capable to feed your creatures or have a friend feed your cove every day.It's a thoughtful idea, but Tim doesn't want to be unemployed. D:
mairbear • 20 October 2012 at 11:37 PM
@geefriend45This type of thing would kind of eliminate the need for freezes.. it would be all too easy to make a side account and place it in a constant frozen state to save creatures in certain states.. not to mention keep more of everything without paying any Tims money what so ever....All in all, I can't say I like the idea :/
geefriend45 • 21 October 2012 at 9:38 AM
@cat The idea of a waiting period would help eliminate people trying to take advantage of the system, thanks for the idea~@liza200aa Yes, I didn't realize as I made this topic, but that's very true.@Meteoroid Oh, I'm not the first to suggest it? I hadn't known.Hmm, what if you could freeze your account so that the only thing you're able to do on you account is unfreeze it, then, like cat said, have to wait before refreezing it?@mairbear I never thought of using a side account to take advantage of this... =/
