Claria took a deep breath, and calmed her nerves. Unraveling her fists, she took a step forward into the portal. She knew that there would probably be other kids playing in the game as well. So she prepared her in-game character with some of the power-ups that she had to pay for. Finally ready, she took a large step into the other side of the portal. At instant - a pixelated world appeared before her eyes, and she was part of it. The sun began to rise, and an electronic tweet was heard from ahead. She put the quiver around her back and the bow was in her hand.

@world It's fine, also just ask if you need help with this 'literate role playing'. I'd be glad to help.

"And who are you?" Jessica voice was now clearer, but you couldn't tell if she was girl. The horse grunted, and pushed her a bit. The girl shot a look back at the horse then suddenly got on the beast and rode off. A few seconds later soldiers came. They were on black horses, in matching amour. The stopped when they saw the opportunity to capture the boy and girl that Jessica had abandoned.

Engulfed in a tight fitting technology tunnel, Xans plummeted down into the awaiting alternative reality of the game. Alectricity cackled next to him and he instinctively flicnhed away from the decidedly harmful pixels around. He knew that in reality, he was firmly standing on the ground, connected to multiple wires and devices, but in the game, he was free falling. His feet reached the leafy ground startlingly fast, but the land was soft, like he hadn't fell. Recovering from the shock quickly, he blinked to clear his pixellated sight and frowned upon seeing the land and himself. He was clad in leggings... Legging made out of animal skin, but still leggings... A tunic continued to his upper body, eccentuating his lean chest, too tight fitting for him to breathe in - he was used to loose shirts and shorts and he found this ridiculous. A sword hung loosely in his hand."Oh, we fight with a sword." he stated, dumbfoundedly, beginning to feel like an idiot as he hadn't expected any of this. "Fair enough." he nodded absentmindedly to himself, proceeding into the thickly grown forest.

Oliver stared dumbfounded at the randomly clad person, and didn't have a chance to reply when another girl came out with a bit of a stumble. The knights came up to them before Oliver could introduce himself. "Good lands!" was all he could say in the fast-moving game. "What now?" he asked the air. @seaangel @worldWhoops , forget to ping you on my other post, @whispers!
whispers • 29 October 2012 at 4:07 PM
Guys, because of hurricane Sandy - my internet keeps dipping, so I'm not RPing now 😉
seaangel • 29 October 2012 at 4:13 PM
@whispers Okay, I hope your safe!!@aizelThe horse stopped abrutly in front of a guy, who looked about 16 or 17. Her helmet wasn't on properly and flew off her head, revealing golden locks and ocean blue eyes. Jessica jumped off the horse and retrieved her helmet. "Um..." She said quietly, not knowing what to say.
aizel • 29 October 2012 at 4:21 PM
@seaangelHaving not made even a step further, Xans halted once a horse blocked his way. He jumped back slightly, startled by the muscled animal and flashed a glance at it's rider. Shortly, her helmted clanked to the ground, rolling next to his shoes. It was a she, he acknowledged in surprise - a girl riding a horse seemed somehow strange to him, since he'd never ridden one in his life."Who are you?" he questioned warily, stepping backwards to inspect the girl carefully from head to toe - her sword was the second thing he noticed, after her golden hair.
seaangel • 29 October 2012 at 4:27 PM
@aizel "That's none of your buiness now, but I have to be going. You have no idea how hard it is to get black knights off your trail. If you want I can help you, though, you might be risking a life." Jessica sternly, clearly not joking. Quickly the thundering of hooves on the ground was heard and Jessica put on her helmet jumped on her horse and held out her hand for him to take it.
aizel • 29 October 2012 at 4:34 PM
@seaangelNormally, being a social person in all his being, Xans expected himself to be put off from the girl's stern voice, but opposite of his belief, it seemed to calm him down. It was mainly because despite her coldness, she'd offered help and who was Xans to decline it. Also, the mentioning of knights on her tail worried him a bit. "Knights...?" he weighted the foreign word on his tongue, stepping forward. He nodded absentmindedly. "Alright. I'll come."Reaching ahead, he grasped the girl's pale hand and waited to be led.
seaangel • 29 October 2012 at 4:43 PM
@aizel Jessica pulled him up with a surprising amount of strength and took off. They quickly came to a cave that was hidden behind trees and it seemed nothing was behind it. She quickly went through it, and halted the horse to a stop in front of small cottage. "They shouldn't find us here, they haven't before." Jessica said opening the door going into a room and closed the door. After changing into something more comfortable, deer skin leggings, a fur shirt, and hooded cape.
aizel • 29 October 2012 at 5:01 PM
@seaangelLetting out a small sqauwk as he was hauled onto the horse's back, Xans immediatelly complied to wrap his arms around Jessica's waist, as to not fall down. It felt unnatural to ride a horse, especially if he wasn't the one holding it's reins, but he didn't complain.Once they'd reached his cottage, it took him some time to figure out how to effectively get off the horse in one piece and without meeting the ground face first. After that success, he trottled in the cottage that Jessica had entered, only to run out in a matter of seconds - the girl was going to change, so he guessed she needed her privacy. He decided to wait next to the horse.
seaangel • 29 October 2012 at 5:17 PM
@aizel Jessica walked out hood up, but still revealing her hair. "You can come in ya know." She said like it was obvious. The girl turned on her heel and walked back in side starting to build a fire.

@seaangel@aizel@skylark-So what should we do?- she scratched her head and stupidly smiled. She get up from the ground and tapped dirt from her close.
jupiter_hollow • 30 October 2012 at 3:16 PM
@seaangelWalking warily into the cottage again, Xans seemed to be at a loss of words and actions at the moment. The girl had brought him here since it was a hiding place, but he couldn't help but think -- What now? The situation was akward, taken he had just come into the game and gotten saved by a girl (AND he wore tights)."Uhm." he bit his tongue, still not knowing what to say. Despite being reluctant to reveal his name, he smiled lightly. "I'm Xans" he stated, visibly embarassed a bit from the current situation.
seaangel • 30 October 2012 at 3:36 PM
@jupiter_hollow "Jessica, now watch the fire while I go catch something to eat all right." She sounded annoyed, but kind in the same way. An arrow and a quiver full of arrows was picked up as the girl went out and jumped on the horse. She was soon in the forest. A buck just stood there. The arrow went flying the air. Miss. The animal ran away along with the rest of the prey. "We need to be steady, a rabbit!" Jessica whispered in surprised. Once again the air went flying only this time it was a lethal hit.
whispers • 30 October 2012 at 6:49 PM
Claria heard the clopping of hoofs. She dove into a bush, and held a bow with an arrow in position to shoot. But it was just a single white horse, with an empty saddle. Then she saw the cave.-It's rider must be in there!- Claria thought. Then a girl came out and left. -Must be hunting-Slyly, she ran to the outside of the cave and listened for voices. Just a boy's voice was all she heard. So quickly, she jumped into the cave with the chance and yelled, "Don't hurt me!"@jupiter_hollow@seaangelEdited and fixed it after somebody told me what I missed reading xD
seaangel • 31 October 2012 at 7:14 AM
@whispers Um, Jessica left to hunt.
whispers • 31 October 2012 at 7:17 AM
@seaangelOh, >.> Didn't catch that when I was reading over XD Sorry!

@whispers @seaangelLeft alone in the cabin by himself, Xans frowned inwardly, not sure of what to do next. The girl (Xans being Xans, he'd forgotten her name) told him to look after the fire, but frankly, it looked just fine to him so after poking it with a stick nearby, he plopped down next to it and began waiting.A rustle of bushes and footsteps made him jolt. He glanced at the entrance of the cabn, half expecting to see Jessica (though, he couldn't believe she'd caught food so quickly). When an unknwon girl dashed in, however, he jumped up, standing in defence position for a while. After her plea, he seemed to calm down - the girl both looked and acted harmless."I won't, I won't!" he hurriedly announced, holding up his hands as a sign of surrender. "I'm a gamer."
whispers • 31 October 2012 at 9:29 PM
@jupiter_hollow Once the boy quickly surrendered, she put the arrow back in her quiver. The boy, a gamer (he says), seemed nervous. She decided to relax a bit herself. She sat by the fire, letting it warm her up. "Hi. The name's Claria, yours?" she quickly blurted out."And who was the girl with the horse?" she added before the boy could reply.
jupiter_hollow • 1 November 2012 at 8:00 AM
@whispers @seaangelHe put down his hands once Claria's arrow was tucked back into the quiver and out of harm's way, but remained with eyebrows knit in worry. He had to admit, she wasn't half bad (by his standarts, she was actually nice) and after she plopped down next to the fire, he followed closely, sitting opposite of her."Er, my name.... I'm Xans." he told her with a fair amount of delight in his voice. He was finally socializing in this game and hopefully making a friend. To her second question, he shrugged lightly. "She brought me here, but I don't remembr the name. She went to go hunting and said there are some knights chasing her..." he rubbed his neck, staring into the fire absentmindedly.
seaangel • 1 November 2012 at 4:03 PM
@jupiter_hollow @whispers Jessica saw absolutely nothing after she caught the rabbit and a small squirrel. She soon went back to the hidden cottage catching another squirrel. "Who is this, I said tend the fire not invite someone else in!" She said in shock when she walked in holding the two squirrels by the tail in one hand and the rabbit by the ears in the other.
jupiter_hollow • 1 November 2012 at 4:40 PM
@seaangel @whispersAt Jessica's barging in, Xans jolted up again, for the umptieth time that day, and held up his hands in surrender."I... sorry, s-she came and I couldn't not let her in! We need all the help we can get, right?" he tried reasoning with the girl, smiling in a sheepish manner.
seaangel • 1 November 2012 at 4:54 PM
@jupiter_hollow @whispers Jessica shot him look, it wasn't nice at all. "It's fine, just help me skin these." She gave each of them a knife and a squirrel leaving the rabbit to her. "Save the skins too. They may be pixalated, but lately things have become, really real. Too real actually.
whispers • 1 November 2012 at 8:48 PM
@jupiter_hollow @seaangel Claria glared at this girl as she handed her a knife. But, knowing she was thought of as a "threat" to her, she accepted it and did what she was told. Butchering the animal, a plump squirrel that would do a good meal for the three of 'em, wasn't the best job. The blood and bodily fluids stained her hands, but this was better than starving. She looked over at Xans, his face always had this worried and nervous expression. She found it odd that a boy who was taller, older, and most likely stronger than herself didn't stand up for himself. 'Cause seriously, that other girl was bossin' him around, and I knew that Xans was the older one of us three. He just looked older.Looking back at her work, after being distracted, she realized that she was ruining the good meat, and not being careful enough. She tried to cover up her mistake, and not let that other girl see.
