Dalana walked outside and saw a group of others near a fence, talking to a rather tall boy. She sighed and slowly walked towards them.

Looks: Averagely tall, standing at a height of 6'1 with a firm and strong built, but lacking any muscles. His tanned skin is a result of years spent in roaming under the scorching sun. Shortly cropped hair, dark brown (nearly black) in color, often sticking upwards for whatever reasons or brushed backwards on some occasions. Muddy dark brown eyes. In short, nothing special to look at. But, he compensates with tattoos. In total, his body is decorated with 13 pictures. Four tribal tattoos, a few japanese signs, one dedicational rose tattooed on his bicep with the name 'Tasha' on it. A vined christ plastered on the left side of his neck, the thorned vines wrapped around his throat and continuing to his shoulder, where it connects to the dedicational rose. The vines continue even lower, wrapping around his arm to the elbow. A snow white dove on the outside of his left elbow, also wrapped in vines. A tiger's head on his left hand and a bleeding heart drawn on his chest, barb wire going through it. His overall dark appearance is accentuated by black leather jacket (a bit ripped), dark jeans and boots. He has a spotless steel ring on his thumb.

Disk shivered a bit, watching everyone, there was something off. Getting to her feet, she started off into the city, sliding her knife back into it's sheath. Glancing back at the others, the deaf girl shrugged and continued on through the emptiness of the surrounding town. Everything was quiet and peaceful, but it shouldn't have been. She slowly started remembering the attacks, the infected that went into a zombie like state and attacked out of random, sometimes each other, mostly the sane and healthy. Shivering at the thought, and glad they had supposedly all been nuked, Disk kept true and kept alert, hoping the feeling was all her imagination

History: Normal laid back life of a troublemaker before the infection started. Used to train as a street fighter and owned a gun, not for defence purposes but only so he could break the rules properly - like a real criminal. Now, he finds himself uncomfortably having to fight for his life.
Personality: Withdrawn and detached from groups, preferring loneliness to the company of another human being. Seems cold and uncaring from a distance, rather mercyless too. He's a fighter in all his might, but also a peacemaker. Loud arguments are disliked with a passion, so he prefers to either make peace or make war with a heavy fist, instead of verbal attacks. Nihilistic - doesn't care whether he lives or dies, hence his belief that both are meaningless. His morals are twisted - he is both a saviour and a destroyer, depending on his level of sanity at the given moment. When not adrenaline pumped, he tends to answer in a monotone manner and doesn't bother enough to budge for anyone.
Other: Is a die-hard smoker, owns a run down motorbike and two guns.

Bear watched the girl leave and she quickly followed her out of curiosity. She walked up and sat by the girl's side, she hoped Alex wouldn't notice that she was gone, because when she drifted Alex often times became worried for her beloved pet. She nudged the girl's side, wondering why the girl seemed so uneasy.

Alex cocked her head slightly, "That's your name?" She asked in surprise. She then shrugged, "Names these days, parents can just come up with the most off-the-wall names." She said, she wondered if maybe the boy was lying or something, that couldn't be his real name could it? She then once again looked at the two others. "I'm good, I like being a loner. I dot. Have to depend on anyone or worry about anyone but myself and Bear. You still haven't answered my question about where a cheeseburger place is, by the way."

Lone brown eyes were watching Dalana from the shadows. The very outline of a figure could be seen but just barely. "A survivor, huh?" It said to Dalana, the voice was obviously that of a male but it was very soft though.

Slightly insulted, Kazimir retreated backwards, deciding to leave the increasing crowd by going to his fence again, rifle secured on his back and face, cold as always.

He clambered up, took his previous seat and stared out to the city again. Between the gray buildings of ruin and shattered glass, he could see a bright white speck strolling among them - the white-haired girl.

Disk rubbed the dog's head, keeping her eyes locked on shadows and staying alert, there was something off and it should have been obvious from the start. pausing to cough into her sleve, the noise clogged her head and the aid, she didn't hear the dead shuffle of the being growing closer, their glazed over eyes and decaying form giving off a zombie like appearence. Disk shivered and kept coughing, dropping to her knees and burying her head in her hands, blood staining her black gloves ane causing her to feel light headed. The being lurched forward, reaching a hand out and moaning in a rasp. The girl's sudden movements of her lurched coughing cased the infected to feel provoked, letting out a growl and moan as it lurched forward to attack. Lifting her head, Disk screamed, her weak voice probably not traveling far. Struggling to get to her feet, the girl stumbled backwards, tripping and hitting her head on the cracked pavement, the force splitting her scapl and causing blood to run down the back of her neck and onto her scarf. The infected grew closer, as well as faster with each step.

His gaze swept once over the few tilting bodies walking towards Disk and he darted. Jumping high, off the fence, rifle in hand, he sprinted fast in the direction of the girl, with startling speed and in the matter of seconds was upon them.

The first bullet pierced an eye, exiting a man's skull from the back and splattering blood all over the fallen girl - he had been closest to her so Kazimir eliminated him first. Unnerving calmness and nonchalance mixed in his expression. He seemed to be taking this occurance as normal routine and as if bored, stood in one place, shooting every infected in sight, not giving it a second thought.

Her eyes were wide and her breath was labored. Disk stayed on the ground, trying to form a logical explination as to why they would attack out of the blue, they weren't dead, so they couldn't have been zombies, she didn't figure that they would pretend to be infected just to mug her, but every other explination seemed completely senseless. Scrambling back, Disk pressed against the building wall behind her, watching wide-eyed and shaking.

The girl stood there, shielding herself from the infected. He thanked that she wasn't at least trying to run, so he took his place in front of her shaking form, standing full height with his rifle outstretched and spitting bullets.

Most of the infected had fallen short and even so, they continued spilling towards him, barreling down to kill him as well, but were met with cold steel. They were becoming too many and he knew all too well it was pretty much pontless to continue wasting ammunition. So, intead, he gave one last shot, then spun around, grasped the girl's pale wrist and yanked her after himself, darting towards the beginning of another alley. Both alleys connected at a sharp touch point - only one 90 degree corner. He flung Disk into the alley, then turned to face the infected,producing a large grenade from his pocket.

Pulling the pin, he threw it in the bustling crowd of decaying bodies and rounded the corner as well.

The explosion was imminent. What fire and impact from it rebound in the wall opposite of them, treating the duo with a cloud of dust and hot air, but nothing more. Blood splattered the ground, the buildings nearby, it specked them too.

Yelping as he jerked her away, Disk kept her eyes on the provoked sickened chasing after them. Stumbling some as he threw her around the corner, the girl ducked against a wall, watching as Kazimir bolted around the corner, the explosion following shortly after. Covering her face as the thick cloud of dust and debris ambushed them, Disk coughed hard, spitting blood out onto the pavement as she fell to her hands and knees, still coughing. She tried to keep silent, pushing herself to her feet and leaning on the wall to keep balence.

Recovering from the shock of the explosion and trying to clear the spots from his eyes, Kazimir blinked the headache away too, sweeping his gaze over the girl. an automatic response follow. As he'd been taught in first aid, he placed both hand on the girls back, where her ribage and lungs were loacted and pressed tightly, then released the pressure. It was a method for relieving a clogged or tightened chest, by putting and relieving presure from it.

He kneeled next to her side, blank face in check despite the crucial situation. He seemed noncaring and cold, at first sight that is. Still, he was gentle and careful as can be.

Jessica saw the girl get attacked, by the infected and then saw Kazimir go to save her. She turned and frowned seeing more of the diseased people walking over to the out numbered duo.

"Ray, look, they need help." The girl said pointing and then rushing over. "LOOK OUT! More of them are coming." Jessica said as she fought off some of them with Ray.

History: Her mother and father raised her until she was 10 and then suddenly disappeared without a trace or a note, and her older cousin called the police but they couldn't find them anywhere. A week after the disppearance Zix's parents, her grandmother, who lived out in the country by herself took her in and she continued to be raised by her, until she had died through the disease.
Personality: Very secret about her past and is very well with lies, good at archery and self-defense and can be aggressive when someone is rude or annoying towards her. Doesn't care much about others and prefers to survive on her own.

She let out a squeak at Kazimir's action, causing her to cough more, the hem of her scarf now covered in her own blood, and that from the attack. Shuddering a bit, she fixed her aid again, glancing around nervously, realizing she had lost the dog. Cursing in the back of her head, Disk glanced up at Kazimir, her eyes glinting slightly as she tugged off her goggles, signing a quick thank you

Forgetting to pay any attention to the fighting duo nearby, Kazimir remained in his place, only bothering to stand up, nodding to the girl as reassurance she was okay and then gripped his rifle again, signing to her to stay put and took his place at the alley's entrance, shooting every infected in sight. Just now did he notice Jessica and Ray defending them too and waited to lock gaze with both, giving them a thankful nod.

Out somewhere in a deserted city, a young women quickly zipped up her jacket quickly and shivered when a cold breeze blew through the air that felt like millions of tiny ice cubes falling onto her skin. She let out a chattering as a white cloud that left her mouth disappeared.
"Just like everyone else.." said Zix, eyeing where the small cloud of breath use to be; she turned around and walked back into the small Walmart store that she decided to make as her 'base', thus she stayed in because of the small warmth it provided her, and not to also talk about all the food and other very helpful things.

Zix sighed and walked over to the manager's office, she also decided to make her bedroom, with a stack of blankets she laid on the floor near the corner with a big pillow on it that a black cat was sleeping on.
"Sava, come here girl," she said as she picked the tired cat up and it snuggled close to her chest.
The young women smiled and sat on the chair behind the desk.

Disk shivered a bit, nodding as she roughly understood what Kazimir had signed. Sitting against the wall, the girl pulled her knees to her chest, fixing her outfit with a nervous whimper. Breathing shakily, the girl watched closely, wishing she could have been cursed with muteness instead of having to go without her hearing. Rubbbing her ars, Disk blew a cloud of whiteness into the air, she would've given anything to be out of the situation and back with her family, or at least somewhere peaceful

A large number of their persecutors were already laying dead in their own blood and since the few remaining ones were being fought off by Jessica and Ray, Kazimir felt free to cease fire and get some rest. Trottling back to the bloodied girl, he crouched down by her again, flatly motioning for her that it was nearly safe. His sign lanugage was rather rusty, since he'd rarely spoken to anyone whatsoever, much less to a deaf person. However, he managed to stitch together a scetence. 'Safe to go.'

After a couple swift kicks to the head knocking out them for a good bit Jessica and Ray ran over to the two. Both of them were out of breath, and clearly injured a bit.

"We need to go, now." Jessica said urgently. "We knocked them out for a good bit, but we can't stay here now. I swear those people are more zombie like then just sick." Ray turned around quickly, wanting to be ready for more of the sickies.
