@worldYea, ikr? XD That's a whole other topic of proper profile stuff, etc. Haha.She didn't have to block you though. Especially if she didn't have it in plain site. o.O Everyone assumes that you want your cove fed, so they feed it. It's rare that people see, "Don't feed this cove!" etc...lol I don't like people who are trigger happy with the block button. I think it is mean to people who didn't do anything wrong and that's why I created this topic. XD EDIT: I figured. XD Now I need another spacer to reply to the other person who posted. Sigh...XDDD

@kurochi-akuma I never blocked any user while i was here and i was blocked one time 😸And i know some users who unblock all users from Blocked list every month. I think that this is great idea ^-^
kurochi-akuma • 29 November 2012 at 11:08 AM
@mastermeppYup, I completely agree. 😊@worldYes, that would be a good idea~ 😸It gives everyone a fresh slate to forget and forgive. ^-^I've never been blocked before or have blocked someone, but I know that it can be pretty upsetting for new people/people in general to be blocked. o:

That always did seem a little extreme to me. Personally, when someone asks me if something is UFT, I'll just ignore it, mostly because I hate saying no. Sometimes I'll respond, but either way it's nothing I plan on holding against the person who asks. It's just pixels after all.I do, however, see how it can be frustrating to be asked over and over again if a creature or name is UFT. That's why I put that in caps on my profile.😋 But again, if someone asks, I'll just ignore.
yts • 29 November 2012 at 12:11 PM
@kurochi-akumaI totally agree, I think it's a rude thing. if someone asks for a creature NUFT you can simply reply with "no it's not"...I use this way....you only have to block someone if he/she really bore you.
meta_knight_lover • 29 November 2012 at 10:37 PM
@kurochi-akumaYay I rezed the topic! 8DMy thing is still that by blocking you don't give the person a chance to say they're sorry or "Oops, my bad." People do mess up and if you let them know most of the time they will just be like "Whoops, sorry." That sort of thing. :/
cat • 29 November 2012 at 10:46 PM
@kurochi-akuma Yeah, this bugs me too 😋 I WOULD, though, lock people if they continually bug me about a creature that is clearly NFT. But if a newbish person is asking once or twice if ____ is UFT, it isn't fair to just say NO IMA BLOCK STUPID NOOB >:V
kurochi-akuma • 30 November 2012 at 5:57 PM
@metaphorYes. It's not that hard to ignore/delete/say no. I'm a little against the whole large caps, "I WILL BLOCK YOU" type thing, but if that works for ya, I'm not angry with you. ;P Especially if ya don't go trigger happy with it. As I said before, peeps who annoy over and over can be blocked.@ytsI know right? You have very many pretty eggs and are active on eggcave. 😊 Do you get constantly begged for creatures all the time? People make it seem like so many people are annoying beggers, but I haven't ran into one yet.@meta_knight_loverTY for rez~ *hugz*@catHaha. Yea. I completely agree with that. 😊 You don't have to block people like crazy man. =O XD
yts • 1 December 2012 at 1:23 AM
@kurochi-akuma no one has never asked me repetly for my creatures 😊
april__ • 1 December 2012 at 1:34 AM
Personally, I think it should be common courtesy that if you're going to ask if a creature's uft you should read the profile.There is a maximum character limit on the profile, it can't be overly long. I just think if anyone is going to ask for a creature they should read a profile before asking.I personally feel aggravated when I have people asking and offering on my creatures, especially when it's under offers and I worked for the creatures. I've never blocked people on this site, I kind of didn't really pay attention to the fact that you could but now that I know I think I might block some people.Not to be mean, but because I do sometimes have to struggle to control my temper.And how immature would it be of me to get upset over something so small? I think it'd just be better for me and the other person if I blocked them. Which I will start doing now, and not just for asking if things are UFT.
thursdays_dove • 1 December 2012 at 2:28 AM
My profile says at the very top that nothing is UFT unless it is in the trade center, which I expect people to check before asking.. but they don't. But that doesn't mean I just block them - most of the time I'll politely tell them "sorry, but it's not UFT". If the person repeatedly asks, I then just ignore them.

Yeah I agree, people shouldn't be blocked for asking once. That's just mean D:< If people ask continuously over and over then that is when the block button becomes an ok thing to use.
ems • 1 December 2012 at 1:56 PM
@kurochi-akumaI actually write that... But I think that I'm going to edit it out. 😊 It usually scares me when people say that, and I've been here for almost a year (most of that was inactive though 😋). XDI also have a really hard time saying no. >.<' I usually haggle to see what someone will offer, and then tell them no. Which makes me feel worse, for leading them on. XPI really think that if someone asks repeatedly, they're really, really, asking for it. I usually haggle, and if I don't find the right trade, I kindly decline. I've had I think maybe one begger, but I told them no, and they were cool about it. So in general, I like to go with the flow. If someone really annoys me though, I won't be sorry to block them. I'm also proud to say that I haven't been blocked, and haven't blocked anyone. I actually had a close call with a block, when I posted on someone's wall... Apparently trying to make someone feel better is 'annoying'. 😋Eh. I don't really care. I just ignored the user's reply, and basically forgot about it. It bothered me for a while, that someone would be so upset about something so little, but I don't really care anymore.
kurochi-akuma • 2 December 2012 at 12:48 AM
@april__Mmmhmm. 😊 That's fine. I'm not saying get rid of the block button, just don't be overly trigger happy with it and block EVERYONE. And yes, I think people should read profiles, however many people do not. You just have to accept their slowness and decline/ignore their comment. However you do it, is your way. Thanks for your input!@thursdays_doveYea~ I completely agree with your opinion. 😊@leafpoolzAgreed~ 8D@emsThat's an interesting way of dealing with beggers and I definately love it~! Most people are understanding. You're like me, where I like a good haggle sometimes and who knows- maybe the creature I could get is better then the one I'm fighting to keep. They almost blocked you for being nice? o.O They must've had a really bad day. D:(LOL You guys need to ping me, I didn't sub this topic. OTL Oh well. *subs*)
tikimaki • 2 December 2012 at 1:08 AM
@kurochi-akuma Yep, I agree.
ems • 2 December 2012 at 2:15 AM
@kurochi-akumaYeah, well most of the time beggers are newbies. So I try to play it cool, keep my temper on a tight leash, for the user's sake. 😋LOL I know! Cranky people... Gosh man, don't be all angry! >.<'I actually HATE being angry, and I end up being angry a lot... I try keeping it cool though. I wouldn't want to have a major blow-out on EC. That would be really weird. 😋
kurochi-akuma • 3 December 2012 at 11:49 PM
@emsYa...That would be bad and something you would probably regret if you did it. o.o Everyone has anger, but weather you can control it or not is a different story~I guess that's why most people block, so they don't end up yelling at the person/dealing with them. XD
ems • 3 December 2012 at 11:56 PM
@kurochi-akumaLOL, I know. It would not only be mean, but pretty akward. I actually don't end up angry a lot here, just in RL... The stress really gets to me sometimes. 😋
bubblez • 4 December 2012 at 12:04 AM
@kurochi-akuma It doesn't really contradict its self. Blocking isn't rude to me. People that don't bother to read a little on a profile is more rude to me. I don't like repeating myself 100 times over to the *same* user. So I block them. It's not rude. I never block the first/second time though. It's like baseball, three strikes and you're out! xd I do tend to unblock users at the end of the month though. Sometimes I forget however >.>People don't listen. And people don't read. So they get blocked. How to not get blocked? Listen and read, it's really not hard ;-;
kurochi-akuma • 4 December 2012 at 12:12 AM
@emsI hear ya there. ;A; Life is hard and frustrating sometimes.@bubblezHaha. Yea. I know it's not rude to do it if someone repeatedly asks~ Some people are slow and don't read profiles. I am totally fine with the "baseball strikes" so no biggy~ XDI just think that it's mean to block people right away without giving them a chance. The way you use the block button, is perfectly okay in my eyes. o3o b
