Which Notifications do you find to go missing the most frequently (i.e. don't appear the most)?

It seems to me that if you edit a post & add a ping through that edit, that user won't get a ping/notification.

Possibly this is the reason why you don't get a notification?

@ian most of the time i get notifications, but i have noticed that sometimes my offers/offers removed and wall posts do not show up in my notifications. i think i get most of the posts, and i check things all the time, so its not such a problem, but i too have noted that notifications dont always come up.

Yes, for the record, edited posts do not generate pings if you ping somebody in a post edit. This is to deter spammers and trolls.

I'll compile the information that you guys have all provided in this topic and continue investigating the elusive Notifications issue...

it has happened to me but i dont get notified wen someone writes on my wall sometimes but other than that eggcave is perfectly fine to me😊

I've noticed that I don't get Alkub race notifications. I also don't receive any other notifications that I should if one of the notifications is an Alkub race one. If it helps I'm running Firefox 5.0 for windows.

I haven't gotten several pings. It shows in my notifications but doesn't pop up.
