Why is it every single time I go and buy a travel, well *try* to, when I type in the security code it tells me it's invalid. But when I go back, I get the *exact same code* and type it in *the exact same way* and it says it's right.It's been doing this ever since the new system came out. Why? What can I do to stop it? It's why I have no chance to get any good travels -_- ...And this is suppose to be a fair thing? *cough* ;-;

@bubblez This happened to me. I just refreshed the page. But I agree. The new TA makes it really slow to buy travels although it came out to make it far. Maybe if they got rid of the PIN and replaced it with something similar to neopets where you just click something.

@bubblez@tikimakiI absolutely HATE the new haggling system. I detest it. It makes me feel like quitting x.xWhenever I go and see some rare travel in stock, I pounce upon it, then, I need to type the price [THE PERSON Doesnt even accept high prices -_-] along with the security code. ._.A mistake makes me redirect to the travel agency. The travel is gone. If it is left, by then when I fill in the particulars, someone else snatches it away. It'll be AWESOME to have a system which will put a travel temporarily out of stock whenever we start haggling so that no one snatches away any travels from users hands. If the person purchases it, then it goes accordingly.. If the person doesnt buy it, it comes back in stock till anyone else starts haggling.Or another option after the first dialog box (DO YOU WANT TO BUY THIS TRAVEL, YES/NO) which displays 'DO YOU WANT TO START HAGGLING? YES/NO' but thats just my dreams. âšī¸It'll be better for me to leave this for sure.

@frosted I agree 100% with you. ^^BTW Welcome back. I saw your forum saying that you were back from hiatus but in was past 10pm here so I didn't have time to post. Also when you buy a travel you don't go back to the TA! >.<

@tikimakiIt was @ frozens who returned from hiatus, not me. XD Confusing, isnt it? I'm not inactive, I lurk in the shadows.
tikimaki • 29 November 2012 at 3:53 AM
@frosted XD Sorry. The usernames are so similar!
kollais • 29 November 2012 at 8:05 AM
@bubblez Yeah, travel agency is terrible now.
blueclaw • 29 November 2012 at 8:17 AM
Mine is working fine. I actually love the new TA, because I'm getting REALLY rare and pretty travels. *shows you a box of rare and shiny travels she bought*
fluffycat • 29 November 2012 at 12:17 PM
Mine is also working fine and I finally managed to get one space travel. Usually hoarders would get everything and I would be left with nothing. But then again, now I walk away from Castle, Fairyworld and such. I know I would never get SoB travel from TA, not even with the new system. That, park bench and space travels are the ones I never ever see in TA. But this is also vast improvement from system before.

@bubblez Same thing. I really hate the TA now. >:{
neko-chan • 29 November 2012 at 12:30 PM
i think it's easier to get travels with this new system.đ@fluffycat you can't get SoB's from the TA.đ

@bubblez I love our new TA. I always get rare travels and only once i get message 'this item is out of stock'. I see that now we get new travels every 10 minutes đ
bubblez • 29 November 2012 at 1:04 PM
Well, it doesn't work for me. And a lot of people. It's not fair if half of us don't even get a chance to obtain any but the other half does ;-;@frosted Those would be awesome ideas :e And make it fair.
liza200aa • 29 November 2012 at 4:13 PM
@bubblezI agree, it would be nice if haggling was optional. I mean, seriously? risk losing the whole travel just to save a little EC? All that I can say about that is: >.<
lucky_cricket • 29 November 2012 at 4:16 PM
@bubblez I agree!!! @liza200aa That would be awesomeDo you know what I think? I think that there should be a button where you can opt to pay full price for the travel, to save the time of haggling.

What particularly is the worst part of the new Travel Agency? The fact that there is a code (a minor inconvenience)? Or the fact that you intermittently get an error, even when the code is right (bug)? If there's a bug here, I can look into it and fix it. Please be a bit more specific. đThe new verification code has been put in place, mostly as a preemptive strike against any future autobuyers/bots that may infiltrate Egg Cave over the coming years (as we continue to grow). I consider it a new security measure, to really make sure that purchasing items is fair, accurate, and done by humans.Let me know what you think.
bubblez • 6 December 2012 at 7:28 PM
@Ian The code never works for me. It always tells me it's wrong, but in actuality it never really is. It's not fair is half us don't have a chance to get any travels ;-; By the time it says the code is right, the travel is gone.
vespira • 7 December 2012 at 7:08 PM
@bubblez I agree with you. Back with the old TA, I used to be able to buy a lot of rare travels. Now, I haven't bought a rare travel in a month or so.âšī¸When I heard about haggling, I expected it to be somewhat similar to the one on neopets, but it's not. You have to put in an amount that's fairly close before it's even accepted.=/Plus, the code also annoys me. When I type it right, it also says I'm wrong. Then I get so frustrated because when I go back, the travel is gone.
naturegirl1999 • 7 December 2012 at 8:21 PM
It works for me,plus i dont go after rare ones
Ian • 12 December 2012 at 4:22 PM
For those of you who are having code problems, what browser and version are you using?
ninjagirl • 12 December 2012 at 4:53 PM
@Ian I like the new TA ^^ Sometimes, people make mistakes and blame it on the TA. Human error. One of my best friends wanted to show me how the TA wouldn't work on her computer, so the next time I was over she went to buy a travel. The problem actually was she was putting in commas or spaces where they weren't needed. Of course, it was a perfectly reasonable mistake. Now she's able to buy travels and everything's happy đ¸
Ian • 12 December 2012 at 5:09 PM
@ninjagirl Gotcha. This is good to know. I haven't ever experienced any security code errors on my end, which is why this issue is curious to me.Human error could possibly be the culprit, indeed.Let me know your guy's thoughts.
ninjagirl • 12 December 2012 at 5:13 PM
@Ian glad to be of help ^-^ *crawls back into whatever hole I hide in*
bubblez • 12 December 2012 at 6:18 PM
@ninjagirl @Ian It's not human error for me. Like I said, I go back in and type *the EXACT same thing, the EXACT same way* and it says it's right. I'm 100% sure I type everything in the right way. That's not human error on my end.Anyways, I'm using Chrome; Version 23.0.1271.95 m
zero_storage • 13 December 2012 at 4:59 PM
@IanI'm currently running Chrome Version 23.0.1271.95 m, just like @bubblez, however, I am not experiencing any issues with the security codes. I was getting 100% failure rate when the site was having a hard time loading a couple weeks back, but since then, all has been well. That tells me that it may not be a browser issue. If it isn't that, then I'm not sure what it would be, but I figured I'd point that out anyway.

@IanYou should see my suggestion posted on this topic. XDDBut my suggestion doesnt have any bot protection.
mrsgiggles • 17 December 2012 at 4:33 AM
@Ian can you make the captcha bigger? My eyesight isn't as good as it used to be, and the numbers/letters can be awfully small.
ahgirltc • 6 April 2013 at 5:16 AM
I know! They should remove the haggling system as this is unfair for those who cant purchase the travels âšī¸ I cant even get a single travel out of the three that were there -_- @bubblez
