I love learning about new places! So, I was just curious about any different countries everyone here has visited. (For some reason, my English isn't working, so I hope that made sense.) πI live in Canada, but have been to the U.S.A., Turkey, and Russia.I've also been to France and Germany, but just the airports. (I like to think that counts for something, so list those too!)In the U.S.A, I've been to Florida, New York, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. In Turkey I was in Istanbul, and in Russia I was in Saint Petersburg. My connecting flights were in Paris, Munich and Frankfurt. How about you guys?

@solaris I live in the UK, so have visited all England, Scotland and Wales. Never been to Ireland, but I would love to.I've never travelled further than Europe, though. The countries I have been are France, Germany, Spain and Greece, but have passed through the Netherlands and Belgium. I prefer getting the ferry across to Europe rather than going on an aeroplane.Probably the countries I visit most are Germany due to some family being there and Scotland because it's lovely place to go, more so the Highlands.
solaris • 4 December 2012 at 12:06 PM
Wow! Lots of different places! πI'd love to visit England and Wales. And Ireland too!I guess I forgot to list the provinces I've been to here in Canada! πI've visited Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick. I've lived in British Columbia, Ontario, Nova Scotia and Quebec. All that's left is P.E.I., Newfoundland and Labrador and the Territories! π
elluwah • 4 December 2012 at 12:26 PM
I live in northern England, but have visited down south (London) a couple of times. Also been to Wales, and went skiing in Scotland once. That was pretty amazing!Outside of the country, I've been to Spain, Egypt and Tunisia. But they were all when I was much younger. I don't have a passport anymore so can't go on holidays abroad now. Not to mention I hate being in planes. Scares me too much! π±Countries I hope to visit sometime in the future are France (nice and close, hehe), and maybe the US (Florida in particular, but New York would also be fantastic to see).I'm really not much of a traveller, and would much rather be in England where the weather is bearable. Gotta keep with the stereotype and drink lots of tea too. mmm.

@elluwahI hate planes too! π When I flew to Russia, I decided to take some Gravol. I had two connecting flights, one in Toronto and one in Frankfurt (or Munich, I can never remember which one it was). I ended up taking two for the flight into Toronto. They help so much! By the time I landed in Saint Petersburg, I didn't even care that I was on a plane anymore!Although, as we were coming in for our landing, I happened to look out the window and saw a head-on car collision. :/@kocareWelcome to Egg Cave! π I guess that's the best part of living in Europe. So many countries within driving distance!
kocare • 4 December 2012 at 3:45 PM
@solaris Thanks π ! Yeah we have lots of countries verry close here π yeah i've seen lots of the world allready and as i said planing to see more π!!
solaris • 4 December 2012 at 4:02 PM
@kocareThat would be so nice! It takes about 13 hours just for my to drive from where I live now to where my parents live. And I don't even leave the country! XDI'm planning to see more too! (As soon as I actually have money.) πI'd love to see more of Russia, and U.K and Australia are also on my list. So is pretty much all of the rest of Europe. I think I'd visit Australia in July. π
kocare • 4 December 2012 at 4:30 PM
@solaris Uff if i would drive 13 hours to somewhere for example i could travel from Slovenia to North France π but only if traffic would be running smothly π Yeah .. ur country Canada is little bigger than our little Slovenia haha π ! You should visit Slovenia π i ask lots of people that live all over the world and they allready visit Slovenia they were werry impressed how small this country is but lots of things to see π u can see like Alps and in 1-2 hours u can allready be in our sea hehe π ! If you have time go check some pictures you will see π)
spirithawk • 4 December 2012 at 5:33 PM

solaris • 4 December 2012 at 5:49 PM
@kocareThat's what's neat about Europe! All those countries in no time at all! Once, I moved from the West Coast to the East Coast (about 5800 km). For most people, it takes about 4-5 days, but it took us a month! XD We kept stopping!@essiehI'd LOVE to visit the Netherlands! π Rotterdam especially!
Deleted • 4 December 2012 at 5:51 PM
@solaris I really want to visit a friend of me on the site when I go, but Im not even sure school would allow it, even IF we get close to Florida. D:
solaris • 4 December 2012 at 6:12 PM
@essiehYeah, usually schools are pretty strict about it. Is it a high school?
clayosaurusrex • 4 December 2012 at 6:16 PM
@essieh xD If you went to Florida you'd be close to me AND Vix.
nyxfell • 4 December 2012 at 10:14 PM
I went to Italy and Greece this summer. In Italy we went to Rome, Naples, and Pompeii, and then in Greece we visited Olympia, Epidaurus and Mycenae, Athens, and a bunch of the islands--Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes, Patmos, Santorini. Connecting flights were Charlotte, NC, Munich, and Rome. And leaving Athens airport. Oh, and we also stopped in Turkey to visit Ephesus.
Deleted • 5 December 2012 at 7:33 AM

I live in Texas, and I went to Disney World in Florida, and some other bordering states for vacation, like Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkanas, and New Mexico and Mexico when I was very young, but I hardly remember Mexico, and barely remember New Mexico, so- XD I want to go to Europe. π Perhaps even looking into college programs I could get into.... x3
