Maybe this is to show us to be thankful for what we get...

Deleted • 5 December 2012 at 7:15 AM

@rebel perhaps you could ask a mod to change it back o^o

I knew this would happen. :/

Right when they starred one of my creatures without asking me, I was immidentily glad it was one I didn't want a star on. (I don't want one on my Luvlei, Lucen...)
And then I thought, "Can this thing change gender?"

In my own opinion, it should've asked us WHICH creature, and/or gave us an option of if we wanted it or not on the random creature it choose beforehand...

Good thing I didn't go today...I don't want a gender-confused Luvlei. >.>

Other than that, the Advent Tree is great. ;D

If the Advent Calender is going to mess up our pets without permission, then I insist that it changes one of my pets into Doovoo tomorrow.

Wow, I really need to start checking this before I go to the Tree. I really don't need my Macaw named after a male character to be female... :/

Edit: Phhhew, luckily one of my other Macaws is male and just had a real word name, so I swapped 'em with each other.

Thanks everyone for warning, I'll skip this day, I think.
We need someone, who'll try advent tree every day and write a result here.

@taffy789

True. It's similar to how my Wynerl was starred when I got it from the cave. It was a male and I was sort of frustrated because I like my Wynerls to be female. Then today, the Tree changed him into a girl. Admitted, I was kind of sad because I got used to him being a male and was actually pretty happy with him like that. But I guess either is alright.

I agree that it would be better for the Tree to ask us what creature/egg we want changed.

Actually, Luvlei look like females (in my opinion) which is why I would've rather liked the Tree to change the gender of my Luvlei instead. He's male but has a female-ish name. Oh well.

Okay....I'm all ready to give this thing a try. At first I wasn't going to use the gender change today, but I do have a few creatures that would be nice as the opposite gender. I just moved all of the creatures who I DIDN'T want to get a gender change to my other cove. That was a lot of work! Now it's time to see who the lucky creature is! 😊

@rebel It's definitely worth a try. I bet that they would do it for you. I feel like there should be a warning on the advent tree or something.

Wow, I really love the Advent Tree!

First, my Engel's name is Verenisse and is male (whoops!) And today it changed its gender to female! ❤️❤️❤️

I think we must be more thankful with Ian. He made all of this. Yeah, he should've asked which pet we wanted this on, but, thank you anyways!

I'm really grateful for all the 'gifts' Advent tree gave us, but I do wish they'd give us rename reset at the end of a month not at the beginning 😸 I haven't used one of it at it doesn't go over 10. At least there was some EC 😃

Ik but when you do something like this, he expects not everyone to be happy. I mean he tries his best, and I personally love it, but there will always be people who don't and you have to deal with it. Those people I feel have the right to express their opinion.

@olimpt Yes, Opinions matter but as long as they are expressed nicely and not like!

(not actual quotes but around near)

"Ugh it changed my creatures gender and I didnt want it too!"

Now when a owner of a site see's this he will usally say "Well if your not grateful why am I doing this!" My point is People can express there feelings but with a little more gratefulness!

Ex.

"Ian I love the idea but I didnt like how it changed this certain creatures "

Therfore gives Ian more thought for his site and what to change!

Because not being mean but this site is not finished yet...
But that is good cause that makes it even more available for updates!

Thanks for the feedback! I love my buds!

I'm saying there is always going to be people out there like in your first example and you honestly can't change them.

I'm not saying I support them, I'm not that big fan of them either but they may be slightly angered at the time and they may be semi ranting, not all that intentional for a mod or Ian to read.

(also in your second example i'm pretty sure he wouldn't be that ecstatic about someone wording a sentence differently and vise virsa for the first example, a few people wouldn't stop him from doing awesome events like this, but if a mass amount of people complain, like what happened last year with the re release, he learns and doesn't do it again)
