@jemmie Lani whispered, "Almost as good as Taingy. Almost." Then the plates were set on the table, and the dragons sat and ate behing thier owners seats. "How do you like this pork and fish casserole?" Lani asked as she devoured a mouthful.

Martin, the new black-headed, boy walked into the Tavern and looked around at all the smiling people. Finally seeing a group of people his own age, the slender 16-year-old walked over to the table and sat down rather confidently.

"Hi," he said with a weak, forced smile. "I'm new in town. A 'transfer student' you could say. Mind if I catch my breath here?" he asked as he tossed his head, trying to swirl his bangs around and impress any girls.

Sanna nodded politely. "Hello there. What's your name?" She smiled. "What's your dragon? Mine is Shamia." As soon as she finished, she walked over to her Shamia. "Shamia," she whispered in a soothing tone. "Come here girl!"

"Martin," the boy replied with a confident nod at Sanna. "My-- m-- my dragon?!" he squeaked with a teenager's broken squawk of surprise and fear.

"Oh, oh..." he continued as he tried to recover. "I -- I haven't found a need for one yet..." The black-haired teenager was trying to look and sound natural, but he was sure it wasn't fooling anyone of his fear of the great beasts.

"Like I said before," Martin leaned his elbow on the nearest post and continued, "--just moved here. Hoping to get into, uh... sheep herding... or something. Yea, sheep herding!" he tried to convince himself of his own lie.

Sanna laughed.
"Dragons aren't bad! How about this. I'll take you tomorrow to a place where you can meet a dragon." Her eyes gleamed excitedly. "It'll be fun," she promised.

"Dragons are SICK!" Sanna continued. "I'm hoping to get another one. I'll show you my place too!" Suddenly, she cringed, the look on her face changing.

"I just realized I hadn't told you my name!" Sanna said grinning. "I'm Sanna."

Lani called Taingy over, and she came and sat behind her. "Hello. My names Lani. This is Taingy. Why are you stuttering?" Taingy looked with her big blue eyes.

"Mmmmm... okay, Sonna," Martin replied to Sonna after a second's hesitation. "That's a pretty name..." the boy added as his face blushed slightly.

He hoped "meeting dragons" would help him make friends with this girl...

Whipping around to meet the new person in the room, Martin smiled in greeting. "Hi Lani. I'm Martin." He pulled back his extended hand as he realized the other boy probably already heard his earlier introduction. "Nice to meet you."

Avoiding Lani's other question, the boy looked to them both and asked, "So, uh... can I sleep on the floor in one of your houses tonight? ... Ours is a bit -- drafty -- as Mom and Dad fix it up before they move in." His sheepish face was cute and questioning.

"Great Martin!" Sanna replied beaming, not noticing Martin's slightly blushed face. "And thanks for the compliment! You can sleep over at my place. We have an air bed."
"Wait a minute, wait a minute," she exclaimed all of a sudden. "Are you sure I can trust you?" Knowing that was a stupid question, her face felt hot.

Lani patted Taingy on the head. "Land Taingy!" Taingy nodded and swooped down next to Sanna and Shamia. She tilted her ears as she stared at Martin. "Make yourself comfy." Lani said politely, taking a blanket from the shelf.


Three new dragons!
Changewing (like a chamelion changes colors and texture of skin two horns like a longhorn cow)
Smothering Smokebreath (blue with white belly lots of spines smoke comes out of scales and makes him look like a ghost)
Whispering Death (like a snake with many spines red spines on head and tail many rows of sharp rotating teeth used for drilling underground)

Thats all of em! 😸

Appearance: Chocolate brown hair down to the middle of her back and soft green eyes. Her skin is slightly tanned and she is short for her age, often thought to be 14. She usually wears black triple flip jogging caprees, a blood red tank top underneath a lime green lulu lemon sweater, a pink heart pendant necklace and pink running shoes.
Personality: Kind and sweet and loves dragons. She only trusts her friends and hardly talks to anyone else. She is very shy and sortof anti-social.

Personality: She's a dreamy determined girl with a taste for adventure. Eviana is kind and always cares about others, she usually never gets mad or on a bad side. Unless, someone is mean to her, she will be sensitive. Eviana is also a little anti-social and prefers doing things herself, not with anyone else. She is very independent. Eviana somewhat acts like a 9-year old sometimes when she's scared.

Looks: Like a normal Deadly Nadder except a much more lighter color and it's size is way smaller.
Dragon Bio: Eviana found the dragon in the forest. It seemed hurt and she decided to take care of it.
Dragon Personality: Snaplily is a joker. She loves playing around.

Lani was walking along beside Taingy. Suddenly, she noticed a 14 year old walking beside a deadly nadder. Even though she was only 11, she wasn't scared of older kids. She ran over to greet the girl.

Eviana noticed a younger girl running towards her. She stared at her for a second and then turned her head to Snaplily, her Deadly Nadder.
The Nadder did a little roar and then looked at the other girl. Eviana smiled and pet her Nadder and then stayed put.
She never liked talking to others, only her Nadder. It was like her Nadder was the only one she could trust, and what was great about Snaplily was that it seemed to understand Eviana perfectly.
She rocked on her feet, trying to avoid the girl running toward her's glance. Eviana was very anti-social, she even took the thought to run away, but she didn't. That wouldn't be very nice.
The Nadder took a step closer to Eviana and looked up at her.

Hurriedly, she landed Shamia, and jogged over to introduce herself to the other girl.

"Name's Sanna," she said, and suddenly blushed, remembering her nerves about new people. "S-so ummm, what's y-yours?"

"So, what's your Nadder's name?" She asked, proud for not stuttering. "My dragon's name is Shamia. Isnt she gorgeous?" As she said so, she petted the dragon happily.
